Ok, any minds out there with a little spare gray matter.
I got it down just get rose refinements, cloud rows? what cloud rows??? please say they are on the perm. quest not some weird alien flower that ate nothing but violets and you milled kool-aid for them back in 2010
Use of supergrow? ok, I can see this as it cuts the time in half...... but a cloud row or two......

 

Keltic this CR is available if you collect the 5 flowers from the party wheel

 

Ahh, So to get even more out of the refinement get them flower row. I see it everyday but did I put them together noooo not me to logical.
So just one CR then, <crosses fingers and toes> i can live with that.

To help with timed quest: buy over 300 BB's for 5% chance of getting Howie to add 5% chance of more drops, And have a excuse to go spin the party wheel for a flower deal Only looking to get the most from the game really, not added fun at all

Well actually I can't remember if there is another CR useful in that matter.... All mine are activated at the moment and I searched the forum but couldn't find any. I will look when I can activate again

There is also the chestnut festival cloud row, which increase effectiveness on super grow with 5%.

There are a lot of things to say on this subject, to do it justice we should probably make a separate thread

 

The flower-CR does not affect drops directly but it does indirectly if you plant flowers while active: it just boosts EPs/B-EPs on events' crops (by 10%) and flowers (by 30%) and cuts flowers' growth time by 10% (thus getting the same chance for drops of all kinds you'd get in 100% of the growth time of the flowers you plant but in 90% of the time; in other words, it's like increasing chance for all drops from flowers by 11+%). By the same token, all CRs or buffs -same goes for Tiki timers on Baha vegetables- that reduce the ripening time of whatever indirectly increase the chance of getting drops of all kinds, including events'. By how much, it depends on what it is (a crop, a pen, a workshop, a tree) and how big the reduction in time is.

But there are 2 CRs that affect drops directly, of all kinds, 1 limited to Baha (the Small Mice Big Bash CR, obtainable during that event), the other for the whole farm (the Love-something CR, it was a sale I bought), both boosting drops chances by 5% for 30 min, every 48 hs.

 

The original question was regarding "instant finish" roses. That is why the flower cloud row, super grow, super grow effectiveness cloud row (chestnut row from an event in the past), rune for more effective super grow and refinements were being discussed. I tried to send the discussion to the Refinement thread. Please keltic, if you have any more questions on this, post in that thread.

Yeah, as it is a deeper subject, I asked a question, instant, fast, gone today here tomorrow not really mean all that to me, now that it was told to me this will be a refinement technique, "we" will take it off the thread so sorry to ask about something written in this thread, I should have placed a quote fully to have the "instant" word in there, me I just assumed fast instant done before normal all the same. I ask to learn just what to do in this game to get the most out of every part, yeah, 1st I need to figure out what is there to do.

It is part of the technique as to playing the event in this game to use these items, not all of us know of the ways to play let alone it is different to say fast or instant means the same to me before "this event" I asked sorry you found offense in it trust me. *poof*

 

keltic, I was not offended. The original question was posed by pyratic and I referred to the refinements thread in my answer to him/her. You pulled out a particular fact from that and I wanted to clarify to everyone, not just you, what the original question was and to guide you to more information and a place where you could pose your questions. That those questions were general strategy questions and for "instant" roses, you needed the information in the refinements thread. I can see by the questions posed here and elsewhere on the forum that you are very willing to learn.

Wow, long hr crop really boost much. Now, I only need 420drops will be OK
Event crop still need 7056 , with 3 field nearly full planting, using 1x1 with CAC,
each harvest will get around 1800 , it should be much more if I clear all the
field just for event crop. However, compare with the past. I really clear much
more field than before. beside keep trees on all field edge . GM I just keep 5 wonder stable & 1 jumbo tree, MG only keep 4 workshop & a bit more trees.
For sea plumes. the last 23 have been feed, 2 hr more I will say goodbye with
these little sea creature which they had stay with me for nearly 4 days(day & night)

 

hi im lvl 82 and wondering which crops to grow for best effect. also should i use CF or standard fields. i'm almost done with event crops just 2 more to go, so all my focus is now on the drops.

I am Almost done with Seaweeds too. Lostsouls2001 if you been reading these earlier posting many of them getting Great drops on using 1x1 and Harvesting Carnations Long Time Crop. Rather Then using Comfort Fields or 2x2 Fields or Trees.

Once got all the Seaweeds I need..... I will Grow Refined Carnations

If you are Prepare to Use Supergrow it best to use Comfort Fields to get the Remaining Drops of Sea Salt. SG Love Refinement on Roses, Carnations or Organic Cotton. If Used with Harvest Cloud Row and Supergrow Buffs of Fruit Cake and White Innocents. Should Reap your Carnations or Organic Cotton Instantly since I have not Tried this yet. But it Works on SG Love Refinement on Roses.

I am Pretty Sure someone has managed to get Instant harvest on Carnations or Organic Cotton This Way ???. I am Surprise that Manure has not gone as High During this Event I think Manure from Sea Plumes seems to be Helping Keep Manure Prices Down this Time !!!

 

thank you so much SillyGuy, and Mooboy. i'm still new to this strategy forum and find so many different techniques it's a bit confusing. i don't know what SG Love refinement on roses is. i've seen it a lot and still don't know. but what i get from both of you is 1x1 fields with organic cotton should be my best bet.

Keep your farm is not idle, and do not forget to upgrade your trophies (23% is minimum).
Put the trophies on your fields before harvesting (if you didn't not unlock LL rune on Tree of Wisdom).. It will boost the drops on!

SG Love means Super-Grow Love. It's a refinement when you succeed refining on certain crop. There are some threads to help understanding how it works.
The plant refinery and {FAQ} Plant Cultivation.

You may ask about refinements on that thread. We do not want to mix up any different subjects related to OP's topics.

 

I have enough sea plumes. 3 more harvests to go with the Seaweeds and then I'll grow Carnations.

I am about halfway with drops on both farms. This farm is a tad ahead of Chevrefeuille on crops as I forgot to have stuff that would be ready when the event started - I had put animals everywhere! I should finish the Seaweed tomorrow, unless I put something else in overnight, haven't decided yet. Plenty of time to finish the event crops but I would like to get my critters back out as soon as possible (and save on CAC too!).

This event has so many facets that my strategy has been a bit hit and miss. I try to donate my crops to leave none so I get the five free seeds (old skinflint that I am!). But then I forget that I should set off some Plume Food!

I am really enjoying this event but I am glad that I am not working as I think it would be quite taxing for my little brain!
