i finished task 3 first myself. i need trees more.

 

I have harvested my wonder trees, didn't get any good result, so try for the cloud row

i went for the trees first and only. got 1 amherstia, 2 buddha, 1 tamarind, some other decent ones too. just planted rio wonder trees. for me rare trees are the best items in game both for cc and ep.
now with 1 day still to go i have enough time to do silver 4 so will grab those prizes.

 

You will find an SOS thread in Game Related Chat for events that require drop items. Farmers send to those who need a little helping hand. The only downside is that you can only receive 20 gifts per day so you may max out before you get enough but if you are pretty close to finishing, it is always worth posting there.

Edit: This farm is doing pretty well and only needs 71 more Sea Salt. On the downside here, I managed to plant Ginger on the island when I meant to plant Bromeliad! How annoying! I had it in the favourites bar above Bromeliad and I think the cursor must have slipped when I planted. To delete or not ... I've left it there but I do hate wasting an afternoon of growing time in any field!

Chevrefeuille is struggling with a mathematical numpty who failed to count (accurately) how many Sea Salt are required and also miscounted how many Plumes had been made and now has to make another 10! So my target in just under 24 hours is now 186 Sea Salt! I am still confident that I will make it.

I have planted various 3/4 hour crops on two of my fields and am presently messing with lettuce, carrots and wheat which are giving me one Sea Salt every 10 minutes or so (sometimes none) but I figure that having just harvested half a field of crop squares (or circles, I forget which) and getting only three Sea Salt, this is probably just as useful as longer term crops. Until I get bored or I have to stop for RL in about half an hour ... then I will plant something a little longer.

I think go far step 3 because total value of the seedlings is 170BBs where as for stables its only 150 BBs. If possible do both.

Moreover doing step three would be easier. For step 4 you have to cross atleast one level of step 3.

 

Illy needs 62 Sea Salt and Chevrefeuille needs 170. Oh, and 10 Plume thingies!

I decided to nuke my Ginger with Supergrow ... I hate deleting crops and I have time to build up my Supergrow before the next event!

Got the sea salt yesterday maybe, it is 4 crops I am waiting on only 15 minutes left now

Mir, joining you on that one! Harvested last seaweed yesterday then had to wait til this morning for 1 lousy seaweed after reset. Now have all items on shipwreck as with the bonus and pets they give out loads more BEP.

 

Harvested the seaweed and now i am done. A harder event for sure compared to last few. Now i can see what i will get from the stables and trees.

 

It is very encouraging to find that seasoned players that I respect greatly can occasionally miscalculate.

Makes me feel much better about my slight errors like finding out I somehow miscounted plumes and discovered that I still need 3 more.

 

Need any plume feed LDCrow? I managed to mill an extra 41! Seemed a shame to waste it so dutifully put the plumes out for the BEP!

 

And I have 6 extra plumes!!

I'm so excited as I didn't think I had a chance to finish this event with the amount of drops needed. I only used 20 plume pools as well so didn't have to give up a lot of tools. Honestly with what seems to have been an increase in drops I've gotten back quite a few of the hammers and received a lot of the rarer drops as well. Now to find out what stables and trees I received.

 

If anyone's interested there's a thread in Game Related Chit Chat for everyone to post which trees and stables they got from this event.

Well done to everyone who's managed to finish the event or reached their personal goals!

Waiting on my last round of seaweed on this farm as well as on steph2014, and then I'll be done!! I was able to get the last 100+ drops I needed when I harvested my overnight crops. Thank you to everyone who helped me, and good luck to those still trying! Don't give up hope!!
