Ok, I give, Why will you use these when clickin on the pruty fish? And how? when doing something else, or harvesting or before sorry but these artisan things make me confused.

 

You need to eat it before harvesting keltic Once you eat an easter marmalade or spring wreath you get 30% extra EP on everything you harvest the next 12 hours (runtime of the buff). I would eat it right before my first big harvest in the morning (unless the pet would be ready more than 12 hours after that)

 

Lately I did not spend much on the game, even skipped my harvester subscription because I found I have tons of coupons, so I bough the fish, but when it came to the warmer I did not buy one and spend some more, so no problem, I shall wait for a weak to hatch then another week to start getting the spins and the BEP, I found I still have 12 party spins from the events so no hurry, I placed it on the bay, it was full so I had to remove 2 1x1 items that gave less than 100EP total per day, the 15000BEP is much better than those, I am still thinking if it was worth, but now I think yes, the BEP is good and the party spins gave me good items most of the time, yesterday I got a Ninja bee, and before that I got 10 power feed, so I think these 2 justifies the spending for me since my main concern now is to stock for breeding.

 

It was just too sparkly for a girl to resist, so it's on my shipwreck having been warmed up with a little hat!

 

The Reason I am Not Buying this. That did buy couple of Cloud Rows recently that it would give me more Bahm EP reaping them on cloud row over 7 Days that I paid almost half the BB I would spend plus 39 BB for the Egg Warmer for this Pet too. Also My Shipwreck is Full of Bahm EP Givers Anyway. That I almost Craft and Eat Easter Marmalade and Spring Wreath Too. Plus The Seven Pets that gives Extra BEP too.

Also We do get Bonus EP of 100% or 200% or Mega EP Day that only last 24 Hours or so. Since this Pet can only be used every 7 Days. Most of the time would miss out this Bonus. I Hold onto my Stock of Party Spins too only use them now to get the Next Scarecrow for the New Scarecrow Cloud Row. As I already got the Captain Scarecrow and Pogo Scarecrow so Far. Plus also can save my BB if I need to buy another Party Spin Bundle. You Never Know we might get a cloud row that gives us a party spin that we can get every 24 or 48 Hours rather than waiting 168 Hours for one.

Anyway for Those who brought this Pet Hope you get Lucky on those Party Spins from this Pet. Plus 15000 Bahm EP + Pets and Buff Bonus too. Have Fun with This Pet. Who knows we might be able to get this Pet in Renzo Fair in Future too !!!

 

I succumbed to temptation and bought it. But I'm not going to spend another 39BB for the hat, so I'll just wait a week like Abubadi...

Someone earlier in this thread mentioned that they were unable to buy BBs through BigFish - I've been noticing that I can't get the pop up window to work in IE, so I tried Opera (it's a free web browser). Works fine in Opera. So you might try some other web browser besides IE (which I laughingly call "Internet Exploder")...not sure why there's an issue, but there is.

 

I have been debating all week and I finally decided to buy the Sailfin Fish today! (My first in-game purchase lol!) I've had a Subway gift card that I got (a year ago?) as a gift from Jora and decided that after almost 5 years of game-play that I could celebrate a bit and do the intro-BB offer. So for a whopping $2.49, I got my 300 BBs, which I promptly turned around and sunk into the beautiful Sailfin fish!


Now (okay in a week), I will start getting approx 52 party-tickets per year! I figured it was well worth it - as 100 Party spins cost 350 BBs during Farm Wheel Fun Days! In a bit over 2 years I will just have about made my BBs back in party tickets lol!) I so love a great deal!

I was lucky spinning recently and currently have all the flowers and scarecrows, so it's kinda an extravagant purchase for me as I plan to hold onto all my party spins until the next scarecrow is released (and then stalk the wheel for him to show up lol). Maybe, just maybe, one day I will get a Golden Donkey from the farm wheel too! {{crosses fingers}} Wish me luck!

I am also the proud owner of the new fishy! It was bought me as a prezzy for tending my partners farm lol! Thing is, I'm not sure if to put in the Park for the EP or Shipwreck for the BEP...?? I see and presume most if not all of you will put it in Shipwreck?? Can I ask why? I ask this as it takes forever and a day to level up on the main land (once you get higher up obviously) but not that long on Baha, as you level up lol). Is it because the Coral Reef is suspected to be linked to Baha and so you need to be a very high level on Baha to access Coral Reef? Advice much appreciated guys and gals!

I have placed it in Shipwreck and guess what? The half price shop sale is on later so I can buy the hat to get it activated quicker...woop woop!! (Hey the fish pet won't be inc in the sale will it?)

 

@fifitrixiebell ~ I placed mine in Shipwreck bay too... I probably have enough BEP givers in the cloud rows to crowd out most of my non-BEP givers, but since some days I only harvest 1 or 2x a day, it made more sense to me to keep them in the clouds! (Like my head sometimes!)

Thank you Mir! It was either go crazy with Cash for Action offers (which I don't have the time to do), use up all my hoarded cinema points, (and not be able to buy the harvester/mill subscription later), or treat myself! I figured that something like this was kinda similar to the pet/giver thing that gave a weekly Golden Banana. I remember reading that hardly anyone went after it... and then majorly kicked themselves afterwards.


It also reminds me of the BB tree in that it gives something (purple farm wheel tickets) that are usually only obtainable by buying BBs or completing farm events/quests.

Besides, after nearly 5 years of not spending money on the farm, I figured this would be a good kick-off to start my 5 year celebration! (The fact that I am 3 1/2 months early is besides the point lol!)

 

Finally hatched this egg this morning. Now I just have to wait another week to actually collect a the first prize. Even though I knew that was what would happen it was still kind of a bummer when it did.

The coral reef - in September last year it was announced that the coral reef would come sooner than most of us would think. I think that did lead to an increased focus on BEP and many started saving their GBs. But from the February newsletter it seems the GB requirement will not be very high.

Yes, leveling up on the farm takes much longer. The difference between how much EP and BEP I get per day is not very big, around 400k BEP per day, and close to 500k EP per day. But while a baha level currently requires a bit less than 1 million BEP, going from 90 to 91 on the farm is over 20 million. But for me leveling up on the farm is not that important, because it doesn't add very much to the farm. By level 77 you have all the animals and trees and can finish almost all the FSQs. Sure there are new plants, and some of them are great. After carnation you get shorter crops again, many of them flowers (so the flower cloud row applies) and the market price is quite good. But it is not that exciting. The excitement is more that a level up happens so rarely. On baha on the other hand, there are lots of statues to be unlocked. And with most of the statues there are more tasks in the farmer society to fill (for me that is a big motivation). Also most of the crops are very short, so getting longer crops to plant overnight can be a goal. I also think the fact that level ups are easier can drive motivation in itself. Seeing that you are close to leveling up makes you want to put in some effort, but 15 million EP to the next level might not have the same effect.

I think that is my point of view, at least that is what I could think of now

This of course all depends on your personal motivation and what makes you a happy farmer others will have different goals and different priorities

 

I couldn't resist it either, also put on shipwreck bay, I'm busting my tukus to level up, get more needed crops trees etc, so all bep is helpful for me.
