Renzo's Fair tips?

Hello fellow farmers

Does anyone have any tips to share, please post the here!

I am suffering here, often only getting one chip per game which will take forever to collect enough for a construction plot for the artisan village (it needs 1250 chips!)

They changed the rewards now, to the better Unless you are very good at whack-a-mole (which I am not) I recommend mach-o-meter. With some practice I now on average get 15 chips per ticket!

Note that the 5 chips refers to the old rewards, and would now be 15 or 20 chips.

 

Mach-O-Meter. I'm not perfect at the strategy above but I've been getting 9 to 15 chips per ticket. Even my worst at it is better than Whacking at Moles.

 

Yes Mach-o-Meter is very rewarding now. Let's hope Farmerama gods will not decide to adjust the prices in the shop for a while

suezoroc, you might want to try the match-o-meter a few times to see how well you can do. The loot-shoot is not a good deal. If you play lots of times, you can expect to get around 3 chips per ticket (see this post for more on this and on other things). Maybe you can do a lot better on the match-o-meter with a little practice. A trick I use on the fastest round, is that I put my finger on the screen to mark where to let go

 

I think they have changed the reward level on Machometer. Yesterday I was getting higher ponts than today and I don't think its my reactions that have dropped as I always play this game. Anyone else had a similar experience?

 

I have just earned 20 chips on match-o-meter! whereas I ued to earn only a max of 5 chips! That was a very useful tip, I highly recommend it!

 

I'm very glad they adjust the chips earning for the Renzo games.
I was always pretty bad on those games so eventually I gave up on Renzo. I believe the last Renzo's visit (before this one) I completely skipped it with not even a go on any game.
Now, I still suck on Mach-o-Meter but at least this time I don't have to be an expert to get maximum points. Although I do try hard to get 20 points. Many times I don't get it, some of the times I get it by the neck of the teeth!

Now, I may try the dragon pet. And unlike before, I don't mind spending some BB's in order to get extra tickets.
I'm not exactly enthusiastic to have the dragon. Have (had) many tickets saved (or rather dusting).
But hey, it's "cheaper" now, so why not?

I would say try all the games and stick to which you're best at! I totally agree though (for me anyway) that the Mach-o-Meter is the best game! I get far more chips from that than anything else and with a few hours glued to the screen and a ridiculous amount of goes I got myself a Winged Unicorn Pet last time I played! I missed the last time it was here as I was concentrating on the other event that was on at the time..think it was G&T! I think Renzo's needs a bit of a tweak and possibly a new game which I think is maybe on the horizon?

 

Last time it was here, I tried them all, I can do whack a mole, failed at the rest.
I am so green! winged unicorn!!! I am just hoping to get up to the dragon, good on ya!! I plan on going for it, I now have something to do between MM crops! lol

 

Ha ha, it took A LOT of goes Keltic!! And yeah, if that's what works for you then that's what you should do! What works for one won't work for another so find your way...and good luck on getting that Dragon, it's what I'm aiming for next too!

 

Ok, for anyone that thinks they are on the bottom of the luck barrel, like under it... This so works! I am in love with the Mach-o-Meter!
I never got more than 2 coin as a prize and that was on a good day, good old wack a mole, but this my coin is just going up and up, I, me got 9 coin
I can see me owning a dare I say a nightmare.....

I didn't understand this game at all before you posted Nikmar's strategy and I'm so very bad at whack a mole lol.
I'm pretty bad at mach a meter too but I was finally able to get a dragon's egg last night
Since they still have done nothing to fix the mentor system, Renzo's is the only way for most of us to get a dragon and with me getting about 2 or 3 chips/round with whack a mole it was looking .... lets say daunting... but with this Nikmar's strategy with the mach a meter... it was possible... for me slow and painful but finally finally yayayayay. mach-o-meter is the only game I play at Renzo's. I have a bit of a different strategy than the one above, but it works for me and I usually get 15 or 20 coins. The first two rounds are easy peasy compared to that third round. That's the one you have to time oh-so-carefully. Aim for kelly green - smack dab in the middle of both meters.

Here's the thing I just now figured out - Your score on the third round counts more than your score on the first two rounds. How did I figure this out? Well, I got 10,000; 9200; and then goofed on the third round for a total of 24,600. This awarded me 9 coins. The next time, I goofed badly on the second round and got a bell ringer on the 3rd round and the total was lower than the previous score by a couple hundred, yet I got 15 coins. So figuring out how to hit that 'sweet spot' on the third round is the key to getting lots of coins!

This time I aimed for the trade thing - so I finally have the florist trade opened. Not so sure it's all that great, but we'll see.
