Ok, now it has taken me some time <stumbled across a thread that helped in passing>:) but I found that the
Catalpa is the same as Angel's trumpet's

But I was looking at the new quest It's Alive and it calls for Samara I show I have some and I only buy 5 tree fruits and this is not one of them, before I go mad does anyone know if this goes by another name?

And while here does anything else here got a double name?:sleepy:

Hi Keltic, The Fullmoon maple gives Samara fruit. It can be really confusing ;)
I think on that one and the Catalpa are the only ones that give different named fruit.

I know it may sound simple but I do remember players asking about pine nuts as some thought they came from pine trees. They come from the stone pine tree.

-.-What is the reason behind this??? I am dizzy enough, don't need help in that area....
    Thanks, I will note this.

Thank-you, It is not silly, I got messed up with hazelnuts when I started, silly me thought they came from a tree, I got shown the error of my understanding and told they were crop, hey what do I know.......o_O

Well in RL the Full Moon Maple does not produce fruit. But it does produce a dried seed pod and this is called a Samara. The same goes with some Elms and willows....the papery seed pods fly in the wind and are all called samara. I guess the game producers tried to stay really as accurate as possible in this case....but really confusing to most players.
I have Angel trumpets planted in my yard but had never heard them called Catalpas either.

Every area is different, one time at work we compared food dishes, same thing if the person was into that food <not all gardeners/people's food do the same so not all know the names for everything.> we were all making the same thing just different name.
We call it poorman's gravy, <dish made of hamburger gravy onions poured over masked potatoes> and everyone made it just had 9 names from different countries/backgrounds.
Odd how same things really are.
