Congrats Molly, glad to hear you got all the items

 

Major disappointment. Got the cloud row on the very first fish I caught. But despite fishing many many more times have not been able to get cloud row items.

 

I'm in the same boat. Been playing the game constantly and am not going to complete the cloud row. Not happy. Caught many golden fish but they are not giving cloud row items.

 

I think to make it up as the target is off, leave the game running till it gets fixed, that would give everyone time to get items and you test subjects to see the fine tuning.
I just wish the pop up explanation would go away as it blocks half the target area, vary annoying.
I love the game, it has a lot of fine tuning to be done, but thanks for all the goodies.

 

I liked the short mill time
I liked that the event wasn't hard on my fingers/hand
I liked that the cloud row was given first
I quite liked that it was possible to win the 2x1 several times

I would have liked the first 3 prizes won on the top 2 fish would have been the deco items for the cloud row
I made many many lures.... still don't have a completed cloud row

 

I too am disappointed. Sounded soooooo good before it started.
I've caught:
6 Golden Trout
9 Rainbow Trout
11 Bass
2 Minnow
and I don't have a single Decorative Item for my cloud row.

I checked my inventory and items by clicking on the cloud row and there is not a single one.
I also find that it doesn't matter how good you line up the circles as to what fish you catch.
I'm so hoping that there is a glitch or a visual problem and one day I'll see the decorative items needed in my inventory. Don't worry, I'm not holding my breath.

 

This was a great event, I got to farm what I wanted, continue working on my goals and received amazing prizes as a bonus. I am surprised at all of the disappointed farmers who have posted here, as I would love to do this one again. Great artwork, no required crops, tons of machine tool drops, instant milling of the lures, huge rewards, and I liked the challenge of playing the fishing game. Thank you so much!

 

Disappointed too. Looks like I'm not going to complete the cloud row also. Looked promising at the start but the last cloud row item is very elusive. Get the gold fish but does not give me that last row item. The prizes are great but finishing the cloud row would have been better. The fact that it does not matter how well/accurately you play the fishing game is also disappointing.

 

I love the event I did it wall on vacation vary few can be done that way the only thing is that cloud row maybe next time it should be an open row as you cant be sure your going to cach all the parts

 

Me too. Same as you, not even one... Drops and chance rate are so low. Very disappointed with this event.

 

Not so excited about this one. I got the cloud row and 2 items for it, I even got one of them twice. But didn't complete it. It seemed as though the scores (ie: fish caught) wasn't consistent. One time I was right on the line and got a golden, then next in the same place was a rainbow. Drops were not as frequent as I would have hoped, even with long grow and stable times.

 

Wanted to love this event but bad feather drop rate, a cloud row and exactly zero items for it and the fact that ring placement seems to have no effect on which fish i catch is taken some of the fun out of it. Happy with some of the things i got but I would have rather had 1 cloud item and no cloud row than the other way round.

 

Again one event that seems so trilling and with possibilities to win great prizes, and at the end scarce outcome. First of all, although you succeeded to produce enough premium lures and aim perfectly when two circles overlap, you are left to a chance and you might get even lowest fish in the rank!

This I found almost like cheating and very disappointing. Further on even if you manage to catch the top fish prizes are random and getting all items for a cloud row seems impossible (I've got the same item three times!!!).

The developers of the game should already learn that it is bad idea offering the rows that are left only to the luck and not to the players input.
Overall very very very disappointing!

 

I liked that you could just do your normal farming, you didn't have to buy anything, so no stress at all

Another get a gift for just farming game. Play it again sometime.

 

I was not happy at First when Event Started as was not getting Good Catches Even with Premium Lure. I Think it was very unfair and misleading that Premium Lure would boost your chances of getting a Golden Trout, when this is not actually True as many of us did get perfect Catch but did not get a Golden Box Reward.

It Helps to get Cloud Row by Default, Many of us struggled to get all of the items needed for the cloud row. I was one of the lucky ones to managed to get all of the cloud items. As it did made me a bit Happier and Have Fun playing this Event.

Next Time Should Reward us on the Actual Skill just as Mach O Meter in Renzo Fair, Rather of Random Prize or too many of same prize. But The Prizes was very Generous and rewarding near won won any Golden Bananas in previous Events But did with this one.

The Givers Gave Great EP. I was not so thrilled with Wonder Stables I won, that outcome did not give me any rare pen i wanted to have but nevermind over all was a Good Event. It was something different. Plus I did end up with More Machine Parts than i started with. The Machine Parts Drop rate was very good there was no need to use Machine Part Refinements.

 

To me it was exciting, and challenging event, I enjoyed it to the maximum, even sometimes the rewards looked unfair, and the mechanism of the fishing game was hard to configure, but luck was on my side this time and I am happy about what I got, it is an event that I will be looking forward to see it again with some adjustment to the randomness of the rewards, some balance between the drop items and adding some level of professionalism to the fishing process so the catch matches the effort so the one of us can know what kind of fish he catch instead of the random factor and luck.

 

WEll .....I have several farms, all but one have won the cloud row, all but one are empty! One has won all the items to fill it. One other has now got THREE !! pond monsters, but no other items for the cloud row and the last two days not one farm has won a cloud row item.... I play all the farms twice or even three times daily with high ep giver crops planted and they are all at a similar level. I used Premium Lures throughout. I agree with others re the randomness of the prizes and the fact that is does not seem to matter how the rings line up in relation to prizes won.
I like the idea but hate the fact that I have yet more unfinished cloud rows, I even used BB to get extra feathers on two of the fams as feather drops seem sparse (I probably need to spend money to win more but not prepared to go there), as the event draws to a close I must say I am more than a little disappointed Kinvara 1

 

With the event about to close, I can now give my feedback perspective.

Likes:
New concept
Can still do regular farming and no donations from the farm
Tools required had an increased drop rate for the event and were collected on Baha too
Nice prizes
Short milling time
Can use both mills
Cloud row was guaranteed with first golden trout

Dislikes:
FAQ raised my expectations that this game would rely on skill as Mach O Meter does which meant a kind farmer posted a link so we could practice. That is not how the event was implemented. Results appeared to be more random luck based rather than skill just as wonder stables and trees are. This created unrealistic expectations and caused a great deal of frustration. I am now left with an incomplete cloud row even though I did get some other nice prizes. My original concern of a high rate of turbo mulch did not happen and for that I am thankful.

I don't see the value or benefit from having 2 types of lures. Yes, the premium lure slowed the circle speed down but since the results did not really depend on aligning the circles, it was pointless to make and I did not make any more after the first day. If you offer this event mechanism again, omit the minnow from the premium lures. It is bad enough that it takes the most fish (five) to win the smallest prizes but when you are doubling the inputs (worms, feathers, machine parts), it is out of balance.

The drop rate seemed so inconsistent that it was hard to get a good balance of what to farm. I changed the layout of my farm often and could have only done so with the builder.

I appreciate our tech staff but with a new event being released, it would have been expected that there would be potential glitches that need to be investigated. I am missing some lures and with the event closing in just over an hour, it does not appear they will be found. That adds frustration for me. I am not singling anyone out as I also submitted a help ticket to support and have received the standard response of 'we will look into it.'

Overall, I would play this type of event again now that I understand there is nothing I can do to help my farm do well except hope and pray.

 

Like: The fishing and the prizes other than cloud row
Dislike: empty cloud row.

 

Where to start?

Great that you are looking to make the events different. Keeps things interesting.
Good array of prizes to be won, including a lot of high end rewards.
Great that you pretty much are guaranteed to get the cloud row.
Great that the machine parts were plentiful. I ended up with many more than I started.


Not so great that your directions on how to play the game and how the game actually worked were not in alignment.
Where the instructions say aim to have the rings over lapping and glowing, reality was that achieving that did not usually result in the highest value fish.

Not so great that you could do over 30 fishing attempts and still not come up with a completed cloud row.

Would have been better to have the event givers as a reward for 10,20, 30 for example, attempts. And still having them in the boxes to win again.

Disappointing that the majority of the fish I caught were the minnows. Which meant getting all 3 givers was next to impossible.
