I can not deny I have been using a similar strategy, I strongly agree with you about it. Not only in the exchange rate, but market also helped me to complete the FSQs in a short time.

Thanks to Mooboy for the informations.
I tried to understand why anyone would use a bad thing in this game (such as a cheat or bots). For what purpose??? o_Oo_O I'm sorry I could not find the answers. :wuerg:

For me, FARMERAMA is fun, entertaining, and challenging. What a shame if the pleasure was marred by people who like to abuse!!:cry::cry:

I would like to know the final standings, so I can learn this annual event before going into TOP XXX in next month. Please?

The mean people of the world ruin everything, they seem to feed off the destruction:(be it being pigs and trashing a stop and rest <be it a picnic table provided by a home owner at the end of the frontage land>, to simple things as crochet sites that help others. Why, they are just mean and want everyone to be as empty as themselves.

I would like to set up a little, not have enough to sell in lots of 9,999, but what if any is the best way to offer goods for market when this thing happens? lots of 500 1000? I will never be a player but I can be a seller in the market for a short time, maybe make some cc's8)

I have used sales strategies during previous events and certainly one can make ccs. I don't know what you anticipate selling. If you will move the quantity discussion to the cc making thread someone will certainly provide a specific answer.

Generally, a large volume of tree fruit will change hands. In the past there have been 3 categories of buyers:
    1. Purchaser meeting event requirements -- This individual often times does not buy efficiently and often times buys what is popular. (Again, this depends on what you are selling. Animals? Tree fruit? Crops?) This farmer definitely overpays as with any other event.
    2. No previous strategy of buying to enter the TOP 1000 but has decided to enter -- The volume sought will vary. If the individual has not purchased at all then the individual will tend to buy in large lots. Many individuals will not little understanding of exchange value and even fewer who understand buying using a market to EV price. (Very difficult to provide a good answer.) This is a rather large category. This group is not overly concerned with efficiency in purchasing. Whether placing or not, this farmer will most likely overpay.
    3. Buyer with a prior buying strategy and continuing to buy -- This farmer is somewhat knowledgeable. The farmer has a strategy and is systematically buying. If the farmer has the ccs to spend then this farmer will buy in lots of 9999 (but this depends on what you are selling.) The longer it is before the event, the more likely the seller MUST meet the buy limit or the lot will sit.
    4. The investor -- This farmer will not be buying items called for in this event during the time of the event.

The bargain basement will be open. Some farmers will need ccs to buy what is needed to complete the event. They will also be desperately selling what they regard as excess supply. My strategy is to have a few coins together to buy a few of the cheap goods. They will appear in every area where there is no event requirement, every area. Someone please correct me if I am wrong here: The time period of the event is probably the worst time of the year to sell excess supplies of items not called for in the event and hope for a profit.

Somehow it's not true entirely. Some people are willing to pay more than usual, just to complete the unfinished permanent quest as long as they have few CCs in the bank (quoted your details of the first and second category of buyers).
    Demand is still there.

When an event requires massive numbers of event crops and/or event animals, all plots/fields will be not available to grow anything else during the event, especially developers designing an event MUST be used for Baha island a particular purpose. Eg : Ocean Day event.

During Ocean Day event, I could make double income for selling any tree fruits or rare animals that be required for The Herbarium quest and Guest Who quest.
My primary goal was to sell to people who have not completed it with fair price and also taking a few advantages.
I know the only competitor in the market are the third and forth category of buyers who already have a bunch of stock holdings, and also farmers who did not participate Ocean Day event.

Demand was so high, but only a few sellers could satisfy customers. It causes prices pushed up significantly.

Hello SillyGuy. Hope you are still preparing.

I must agree and will say that the periodic bubbles in price will exist.

If there is an animal call then many will use Cuckoos if allowed and they hold them since they were free. And that should wipe out a large portion of the Cuckoo inventory. If buying though, the strategy would be to buy dogs early and sell the Cuckoos later for the profit.

We have various Types of Events or Quests Thrown at us at least once a week or more or less.

    • Mini Events ( Lasting 24 Hours to 48 Hours latest Mini Event is Hungarian Event)
    • Main Events ( Lasting 72 Hours to 240 Hours Most Main Events last 5 to 6 Days But did have Event Running for 10 Days)
    • Farmer Society Quests (We get a New Quest at Least once a Month. But for Newbies there is Forever Ending Quests to do many of them do not have certain Animal Stables or Rare Trees That is Required to Complete These Quests. The only option for them is to make CC from the Markets by anything they can make Profits from. Then Buy Stuff they do not have to complete Quests or Events)
    • Timer Quests/Events (These are Timed Quests that we have to grow Crops or Animals From our Farms During a Timer)
We have Various Types of Farmers who Play This Game or Even Browse to Buy and Sell in the Markets....

    • Serious BB Spenders (These are called SFOCD "Serious FOCD" Farmers, who spend lots of Real Money into this Game who buys load of Power Feeds, Suzy Super Grow, Super Grow, Spend loads of BB buying Wonder Stables and Wonder Trees, Buying Event Baskets or Even use BB to Complete Events)
    • FOCD Farmers (These are most common Type of Farmers, Who do an Occasional Purchasing of Power Feeds, Suzy Super Grow, Super Grow and spend BB on certain Things. Both of these have to invest Real Money into The Game to be able to Complete the Newer Quests or Events asking for New Breeding Animals, New Rare Tree Fruits or New Rare Animals)
    • Part Time Farmers ( These are farmers who can play this game part time due to Work or Busy Real Lifes or something to do to pass the time or only when have Access to the Internet !!!)
    • Newbie Farmers ( These are Farmers who recently joined playing this Game, who hardly or have very Little Barn Stocks to help complete Events or Quests Also is unable to Make CC in the Markets to sell or Even Buy from the Markets
    Market Trends

    • Buying in Large Bulks of Fruits and Crops is Becoming more Rarer occasion in the Markets these Days some of them was Sellers that was Acting a an Bot (Illegal Sellers) These have been filtered out of our Markets !!! But at times you may see Large Bulks Fruits or Crops only being sold by Hoarders
    • It is Hard to workout how many Hoarders we have in out Market These Days I have Witness Many Farmers who have quit playing this Game. Who May have been Hoarders....This is one of reasons why not so many Fruits or Crops in Markets like it use to be. Resulting Price increase of Crops and Fruits on Basis of Shortage of these in our Barns
    • Over Period of Time now this Game is into it 6th Year I Believe there is forever Ending of New Animals and Animal Feeds which is draining out stock of Crops and Fruits. Farm House Orders also Drains our Stock of Crops and Fruits too
    • Buying From The Markets at Cheaper Price and Reselling for Profits to Generate Healthy Profit Margins this can be done without even using the Harvester But due to Prices Increase in the Markets the Profit Margins are harder to Obtain due to increase in competitors in our Markets hoping to make Profits too
    • Those who willing to pay to use the Harvester or manage to obtain Harvester Coupons or Unlock Harvester from Quests or Events. Can Grow Animals,Crops or Fruits with Intention to sell for Good Profits in the Markets
    • Making Money from Crafting from Artisan Village to sell for Good Profits has Declined most of them are no longer productive to sell in the Markets Latest Victim had Been CAC >:(
As I did say in my Earlier Posting that This Year Harvest Hoedown will have less serious competitors to complete into Top 500/1000, Even if they still want to Complete into this Event....Without Doubt it going to be even more costlier to do than previous HH.

But if you Hoard and Build up your Barn you can make Loads of Money having lots of CC Really does help you get by to complete Quests and Events This is a Really Bonus when you not got the Space to grow things that are needed to grow in your farm nor got the Rare Trees or Rare Stables to be able to do this !!! ;)
