Chris this is a picture I found in the FAQ. It seems that we couldn't deliver crops. I have participated in these events but I don't remember what I used to donate. I remember it was easy to reach the required value for the prize but I was just waiting to get enough batteries(drops).​

 

I have looked at the old FAQs for this event. There is no mention of using actual CCs, just EVs of inventory items. Can someone else with experience in this event please clarify?

 

I seem to recall it being EV because I mainly used tree fruit, specifically almonds and maple (good luck getting those cheap at the moment, prices have exploded on market 4).

 

Ok, seems I am behind again and with a mouth full of dust it seems what is this hoe down? link please I can't find it, I am still adding up everything needed for opening ship place <Thank-you Mir85, I looked for days and you had the link!> so:

Grow goose for breeding
Stop feeding the bottomless pit of the LL and save fruits for spaceship
Since breeding goose BBD will/can be with it so rise other animals to get them twins and jumps

Hi Keltic, since you ask so nicely

Harvest hoe down usually comes in November and requires you to donate large amounts from your barn. You have to give things from different categories, for instance fruits, animals, crops etc., based on exchange value. Last year they took us by surprise by also requiring a lot of breeding animals.


Furthermore, after finishing the event you can go on donating resources into a bottomless pit, just tip your farm a little and so that all the stuff in your barn slides out When time is up the 1000 players who donated the most gets the grand prize You need to have a huge stock to have any chance at all. I won't go near it, it would swallow my farm whole but that was what abubadi was referring to

Mir, was it in November, my mistake, I thought it was in August or September, any way it is still under consideration, it depends on the next 2 BBD, if I can raise some High level colored animals, but still it needs a bold decision for the part that is about open donations to reach the top 500 or 1000, last year I jumped blindly and wasted around 23 millions value of goods to make it to rank 93 in the first few days just to find myself kicked out from the list, and some friendly advice by a nice person, I think may be it was Bhodo, who wrote to me and told me you are bold to do that, but you need to be prepared with at least over a 100 millions value of goods, so I checked and found I will be back to zero and not reach that so I stopped, may be I cried a little about my wasted goods.

@100keltic, and Chris_2_4, the harvest hoe down had nice rewards and a cloud row for the first part, the second part as Mir said is a bottomless pit, so please do not think about it now, I remember that farmer broke had made it to the top ranks in the list, and another player we know from our forum (Escalonela) if I am not mistaken also made it I think in the previous 2 events, other than those nobody we know, but there is a lot of players who are over level 100 and have hundreds of millions CC and have been playing for years that they can afford to do it.

@CaliChrome, I think the CC Mooboy speaking about is to purchase goods from the market, but the event itself does not require CC as I recall.

Back to the Neblonians, as TCRooster said the best choice would be almond and maple, they have EV of 160, 170, they are sold at 50CC and 64.88CC still in market 24, yellow pear would be reasonable at 135 EV and peaches, while the Island trees like Jacote, persimmon, mate and pandanus have a better EV of 300, 320, 340, 360 CC, while the best value is 380 and 400 for Sea grapes and Moringa pods, but many still did not unlock that, so it would be a good plan to plant these on the island until the event starts.

 

Olives good and at 150 count as high value? and a question, I know you all say fruits but the cork tree only 12 hours and at 164, cork do you all think it will count?

 

I would think cork would count. It is in the "Tree Fruit" category. (I'm raising them just in case!)

Do you have any Baha trees open? Some of them have good value including the rare Baha trees.

 

Hi CaliChrome For Nublon Event For Those who not Played this Event Before. I mean for those who not have a healthy stock of Fruits in Their Barn would have to use CC to Buy Fruits from the Markets which would be needed to donated to Nublon Event in Terms of Exchange Values. The Higher Fruit the Better Exchange Value.

But on Main Farm The Highest Fruit Value is Maple with Exchange Value of 170 !!!. But Many Island Fruit Trees such as Guavas or Higher Providing you got these Statues Unlocked in The Temple have Even Higher Exchange Value. Such as Mate Fruits is Worth as Much as Maple Fruits. But these Island Fruits are more expensive to buy in the Markets Compared to Maple Prices

Since The Last Top 1000 Event Price of Many Fruits have Risen in Prices Making it even more of Fortune or Costing Even More Millions Millions of Barn Stock to Even Partake this Event. It is Not for Faint Hearted Poorly Stocked Farmers. It is a Huge Massive Under Taking to try even stay in Top 1000.

Actually you would have to donate your Entire Barn of Goods of Crops,Animals,Fruits and Breeding Animals etc As you would not get any of these back once you donated this into Top 1000 it is a huge Under Taking at your Peril

abubadi66.... for your Info I am one of Those who did Completed and Survived in The Top 1000 in Last November Event. I finished in Top Half of Top 1000 somewhere in 200 to 300 Place cant remember Where. But I know that Escalonela and Broke had Donated way more than me to Complete in Top 1000. At Least I still had a very health well Stock Barn after that Event.

I am Slowly Stocking up Fruits in my Barn for this Year Event but if you have noticed Many Fruits Prices have Risen in Prices Now, if you compare fruit prices in the Market Before last Year Hoedown Festival Event. One of my strategy is to Grow as Many Island Fruit Trees as I can as I am about to unlock Sea Grape Tree on the island. They do have Lovely EV on Fruits ideal for this Kind of Event but many of us not have enough GB to unlock these Fruits. Plus Buying Bahm Fruits Trees from the Stores are very Expensive to Buy compared to Buying Maple Trees from the Stores.

I would Exclude All Rare Fruit Trees Majority of them are Very Expensive to Buy in the Markets. Plus They have Lesser Exchange Value than normal Fruit Trees !!!

Yes Cork Tree has Exchange Value of 164, Also has a Growing time of 12 Hours if you have XL Cork or XXL Cork Tree which has less than 12 Hours Growing Time. I am Trying to Leave this tress in my Fields lol

 

Hi, yes, I have chamber 7 open to get the 4th area open, 45 GB built up and 4th chamber cocoa only one not open, 5th 6th and 7th nothing open but the 4th island area.
I had planned on going back and doing them one at a time as I get the crops up, I read the ship area needed items, figured now is a good time to start building them upI thought pineapples needs were bad, the crop/animal numbers for opening ship area, it will be a while.
Now with this new spaceship needs I am thinking of opening the trees in 7th chamber leechee is in there. seems like a plan to me.

Thanks to all, I have them cork trees out, I am getting things in my barn, I have pride I got one crop at 10000+ it's my little farm and it's a good amount. My goal is to get everything at 10,000 cute # to you's but a big goal to me.

@Mooboy, my apologies that I did not see your name, but the list was long and may be I did not know of you at the time, congratulations for that achievement, you have the wright to be proud about it, and I agree with you about what you said regarding baha trees, I even unlocked the sea grapes and Moringa, the only problem is that those 2 trees are needed in some quests that have to be finished just to clear the way, and I am prepared with good stock of tree fruits for both main farm and the island, I managed to build a reasonable amount of 27 million CC, and buying fruits but conservatively, only when there is good offers, but my market is not that good, so my only hope is breeding high level colored animals because my market is not helping here, may be I should turn to high level crops after I finish the last 2 quests that demand crops, one for the main land (no rest on the farm) at the last two stages and the other quest is for the island (Island cosmetics) which I unlocked recently, after that I shall be a free farmer.

TCRooster - I think you are right about the pet making the supergrow effect 5 % faster. Only thing is that it is power feed instead of super grow. I found it out on perusal from the other post & of course confirmed it from Silly Guy's Post.

But how? The pairs are 18 but one pair it isn't consist of 2 numbers(2f).

Hexadecimal is Base 16, not base 6 and in base 16 the letters a through f are assigned a decimal equivalent of 10 through 15.
