I know how difficult it can be in the begging to search what everything means in this game. So in this thread I will try to present you some things you willl need to know to understand what it is happening in the game. I have also included the FAQ links. Feel free to post anything I missed;) And ask for anything else you want to see here.

    Let's start:music:
From the map of this game you can enter in several lands depending on your level.
The Main Farm (first land automatically opened)
The Magical Glade (You will get the Magical Glade as soon as you reach level 14)
In Magical Glade the Tree of Wisdom can be found. There you can unlock runes.
The Green Meadow (unlocked at level 17, with help from Neighbours)
Bahamarama Tropical Island (unlocked with 50 stars from the tree of Wisdom)
Shipwreck Bay(To unlock this island, you will need to have access to Bahamarama. Then, from the 8th chamber of the Temple, you will have to unlock the Harbor Statue, with 30 Golden Bananas. You cannot grow crops, trees or raise animals on this land.)
Park [IMG] You can only place items so you can't grow crops, trees and raise animals. It is unlocked on level 25.
You can click on each building on the picture above, to see the posts below with details about each building.
    City Buildings
[IMG] Farmer's Society is the place where you can complete several Quests from which you can win Experience Points, Country Coins, Barnyard Bills, and various other resources and items. It is accessible starting from farm level 3, but most of the event quests will be accessible at level 2. Here you can find all the quests. Their requirements and rewards.
[IMG]Farmer's Market You can enter and start buying and selling at the market from Level 3.
[IMG]Workshop You can build the production pens in the City by clicking on the Workshop.
Note: Workshop is available starting from level 8.

Movie Theater(Cinema) Watching movies is a nice way to get some Super-Grow, some Country Coins(CC) and even some Barnyard Bills(BB)

, as it's name suggests, regroups several smaller Shops.
Once you get through the doors, you'll see tabs that you can scroll through.

The Billboard is a large Announcement Board situated on the far left of your City.
The offers here will vary, and will rotate. You're never sure what you'll find on offer, so don't forget to check it regularly.
The farmwheel You'll get one free spin per day that you collect from Fuzzles Woolytop (see {FAQ} Daily Login Bonus)

There are two types of game currency in Farmerama:
[IMG] Country coins (CC) and[IMG] Barnyard bills (BB). There are several ways to obtain BBs. One of the is to buy them in the bank.
The Premium Villa Premium members have some benefits.

When you are on level 60 you can use Comfort Fields. They are only available as 2x2s and weeds only appear 48 hours after the crops are ready. Furthermore you plant 3 seeds on each, and they will give a triple harvest (15 seeds on a 2x2 plot) and you will get double EP. The growing time is 4x the normal growing time.

A nice thread. Sadly, I think by the time most people find this forum, they no longer need it. I would like to see something like that presented to players when they first start!

Thanks for posting this thread Arielh ;) I'm currently level 49 and still kind of wingin' it as I go along, but this post helped clarify a few things for me that were a little confusing and/or hard to find info on.

GuineaUp I am glad I helped:) For me it is good enough for at least helping one player. Players have helped me before so I want to give back.
This is what I am afraid of too..

Arielh -- maybe now that you have created it, it might provide a template for someone on the team. Even if not that, then maybe mentors can direct their mentees to this thread (but again, sadly, being a mentor now has little to do with any willingness to actually help..though many mentors do help newbies a great deal).

As a beginner myself I really like it. Even in the game FAQ's all the beginner's guides are not all together or even on the same page so this is a nice way to have that info organized into one space.

Woody since my mentor does not understand English it's impossible for them to give me any detailed help at all. They also seem to be obsessed with trees. Now while I admit it might be helpful to have 8 apple trees at some point I would have liked a few of the harder to get if your new gifts instead.

I like thread and agree with LDCrow it is good to have all on one page. I book market it for reference.
    Thank you for providing Arielh!

    Hi. Thanks for the info.
Can anyone tell me how to actually unlock areas in the green meadow? I get that I need neighbors (and am trying to get more), but what do they do to help me?
    Thanks!

They don't need to do anything :) Just note that if you have sent a neighbor invitation you need to wait for them to accept or decline, in the mean time they will show in your list, but the icon will be a bit transparent, like this [IMG] .

Once they accept your invitation (or you accept the invitation of someone) a new part of the green meadow will be cleared :) You might have to reload the game for this to happen.

Thanks Arielh, especially for the abbreviations in which I am very weak.
I think there are still lots of abbreviations like CAC, FAQ etc which can also be added in a list of your own.

Thank you Mir for pointing it out. Corrected.:)

12ss12 no need to worry about these abreeviations, eventually you will recognise them(I know from experience;)). But FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions) and CAC(Carrot-Apple Chutney) exist here.

You might try bing translate asking them what language they speak in several languages... many of the mentors that don't speak English speak German. Then once you find the language they speak you translate the gift you want into their language and simply ask 'can you send me a....'
That's how I got my mentor that didn't speak very much English to send me Legegehege... the German for egg farm:)

oohhh since so many of the mentors do speak German maybe Arielh could ask for volunteers who are multi lingual to translate the names of the items that are giftable from mentors to chicks from English to German. It wouldn't be that big of an imposition since there aren't that many gifts... one or two words each. And a list of common request words... like "would you please send me a ...."
and "Please don't send me anymore .... " and "thank you:)"
That would be a great help!!!

That sounds like a great idea daizy!
But I have no idea how mentor system works:oops:. I had never had a mentor either I have been... Maybe I should read the FAQ now...
