Hostile Takeover!

This new Event seems appropriately named. I am Not playing this negative 'game' - so will it still put me in 'debt' when I use the Mill, Barn, etc.??

Also I bought the Candy Surprise Cloud Row - and it seems that the 2nd giver for the CR is the Chocolate Coin Surprise which must be won from this Evil Weasel game. If this essential part of the CR cannot be gotten in any other way, I would like whatever I paid for the CR returned, and you can delete it from my CR's. Thank you.
*I should NOT be forced to play a game I object to in Principle just to fill in a Cloud Row. And - of course - *there was no way of knowing*, when it was purchased, that such a thing would even be a remote possibility*.

Why are you changing the feeling of 'goodness' that is such an essential part of this game? As often has been said - Children play this game!
Perhaps it is just my own opinion, but it makes me uncomfortable and the game loses some of its appeal for me. Making a 'game' out of dishonesty is not something most of us want to teach to our children, and making it acceptable through a game process is....well, you can fill in the blank.
Please give us back the good, honorable, fun games we are used to, not ones that are based on such dishonesty (..or 'cheating', as the game description calls it) ways. Cheating is not acceptable behavior - just ask your child's Teacher!

I agree with the above, of course, and am also not playing this game. I'd like whatever I paid for the Candy Surprise Cloud Row to be returned if this game is the only way to get this giver. Thank you.

Correction this is not a Negative Game. It all part of April Fool that you will be charged rent accessing your farm, you have to play the Weasel Mini Game using Bag O Jewels. It is stated in FAQ you cannot Ever Win weasel mini game as it is April Fool

You can Enjoy this Event and Earn Lovely Prizes including Chocolate Coin Surprise which you can Add to the Candy Surprise Cloud Row

As the first reward for the Candy Surprise Row was handed out in an Event, it is only logical that the future givers will be rewarded this way also. This information was also included in the Surprise Cloud Row FAQ:

Please re-read my first post, as you may have missed my point, in the 2nd paragraph, last 2 sentences, which address your answer. Before this Event, I had no thought of objecting to the givers being awarded during Events.
But, because this Event is objectionable - and comes a-f-t-e-r the CR
offer/purchase - *it will prevent the CR from ever being used.* **So - in fairness - I am asking if this particular giver will be offered in some other way to any of us who object to just this particular event?**

'Hostile Takeover': Promoting things that are dishonest - *in any guise* - will enter the subconscious mind as fact, as the subconscious mind cannot distinguish the difference between true and false. That is left to the conscious mind, and children/young people are still not defended yet against subliminal prompts. Adults who are not aware are also affected subconsciously, whatever label is placed on it. (Even the Name is a negative - think about it!)
And because I do understand the subconscious effects of the Event, however it is labeled, I still have the same above objections - cheating/deceiving, is a negative, certainly not a positive - *because the subconscious does not know it is a joke.*

**As for Support - I have not had access to my email account ever since Google Chrome re-did their email format. They have also not responded to submitted requests/inquiries/or reports about this. It has been long enough now that I most probably have lost my entire email account. You may imagine how that feels.....

 

Excellent observation Lily-_pink. I have been in the health care industry for many years and understand your concerns...as they are real for many. Thank you that you have such excellent and high morals. Unfortunately, not many will see your point. I do and just wanted to give you a shout out of support for putting yourself out in front and bringing much needed attention to a highly ignored topic.

I'm kind of surprised that this sort of topic is highly ignored - I actually thought that subliminal learning was fairly common knowledge - and many learn languages by sleep-learning as well. Few things can be as complicated and fascinating as the workings of the brain - especially since we all have one!! And to explore it is to explore oneself at a very deep level. May I ask what part of the industry you have been with?
Now - if the Gamesters can 'get it', we can all go back to having good, clean, happy f-u-n down on da funny farm!!

I just love Canada - used to have a good friend who lived in Toronto, when I lived across the Niagara Gorge in the US (Lewiston/Youngstown). Toronto is one of my very favorite cities! It was so clean and safe, and very pretty. How cool to have a City Park on an Island a very short boat ride away!

 

I will pass your concerns about the Event theme onto the Game Team.
I do not know if the item will be available through other means at another time or even if it will be included in Gift & Trade.

I will also contact the Game Team about the google issues to see if there is a way to work around it.

I hadn't thought of G&T - that would be a nice solution...except I would be paying for it again with my trade. I guess that would be a fair trade-off though, since I'm not 'working' for it in the event.
