I was in the US on holiday (New England) in 1991 during the Gulf war. Some towns seemed to have a yellow ribbon on every tree, what a wonderful way to support your troops. Though I found it quite upsetting to think some of those soldiers wouldn't make it home.

 

Yes, Erridge, I feel/felt the same. I was also in New England in 1991 and found the support there to be wonderful...much better than support I got from family at that time. Very upsetting that some do not return.

 

I know this is off topic but I just wanted to tell you how much your signature means to me. At the end of last year we were told that one of my sisters had only a short time to live. She didn't think she would be brave enough to cope with her illness. I saw your signature about courage and made my sister a card showing her favourite flowers and your words. She loved the card and kept it by her side until she passed away in May. Thank you for having those inspirational words as your sig.

I was quite surprise to find that I had 9056 yellow rose stock, as I had mill
100 frienship cake. I just need 1194 more of yellow rose.
So, I stop plant yellow rose. grow long hr crop. let my drop to catch up with
my crop. Baha will stop from growing event crop. it will turn back to Baha crop.　

 

Finished growing all of my yellow roses for this event Now, to finish getting those potions

Erridge - LOL....yes I was a crazy woman yesterday morning....but in my mania...I've stocked up on too many yellow roses...and now am plum out of friendship potions! What??? I agree, yellow ribbons around trees was a lovely way to signify our hope & prayers for the safe return of our soldiers. Maybe we should start putting them up again for our servicemen & women fighting for us now.

Julie - good luck on potions....today, for me, is all about collecting potions and baking(milling) those pretty cakes!

I am using two fields with comfort fields CAC, poo, SG, SSG and managing to harvest 1543 Yellow Roses (1x1s on what is left over) every 4 or so hours. Shouldn't have any problem finishing but would like to make some profit off poo farming!

JJenks I wish we could keep the yellow roses too, they are one of the loveliest flowers I've seen.

 

Yellow roses finished, Cakes baked, now just growing other flowers with the flower cloud row activated and gathering potions. Rather easy, relaxed event
So wish we could keep the yellow roses, they are my favorite color of rose...so pretty

i get about 100 friendship potions per day, i must be missing something , also send a ton of money ( 94 k ) on an item thinking it would help me, but it was for salt
any suggestions ? ( i only started playing for 5 days so i didn't had time to learn all the secrets, plus this forum is not organized at all , it could use a good wiki section instead of a tone of unorganized FAQ posts ) , my current level is 49, is there anything i can buy to help me get more friendship potions ? ( with ingame money i mean )

Even though I had a bad start, I am quite happy with how I am placed. The drop rate is not bad at all and I think they classified this event as medium because of the number of Mirabelle plums and walnuts wanted.
Someone without stocks especially of the plums and not enough CC will struggle to complete the event.

 

ummm, still need like 3000 roses, like 270 potions, and 52 cakes, seems I still need to tweak my events. got 2 rose fields, little one doing reg. roses for drops and island doing trees....... back to the drawing board others are done I should be more done than this. I got all of 5 to do and two in 4 to do, oh well back to reading.

 

Relax... You have until Thursday the 30th You don't need to panic, you are doing fine.

no worries I'm nowhere close to being finished with the roses and there is still plenty of time. I'm doing good on the drops though, it's paying off to plant a long term crop overnight even if it cuts down on my rose production.

 

Keltic - I think you are doing very well!

I am finished with cakes,because I decided to get milling out of the way first. Now half way on the roses and drops needed to finish. Looking good for finishing without stress!
