Prayers/Positive Energy Needed

    Hi all,
    My cousins son had a seizure and a car accident. They did a MRI and found he has a brain tumor. They know it is a Giloma but have told them they are not sure if it is malignant or not. It is 80% chance that is and 20% chance that is not. He is scheduled for surgery on the 4th of August. He has no health insurance and his parents are having to pay for everything until they can get him on SSI.
    Their family is in NC so I will not be able to be there for the surgery. I will be impatiently waiting here for any news.
    If you are inclined, could you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. I will let you know as soon as I have any updates.

    JJenks - I'm so very sorry to hear of your cousin's sons terrible situation!!! As you & I know, Cancer is the horror of this earth!!! I will definitely pray for him & his family! My heart goes out to them!

    Im so sorry to hear this, dear. Children are our angels here on this earth, and our time with them is precious. I pray for his healing and for the familys heavy heart. I live here in N.C and if he will be in the care of our cancer hospital, (not sure if I can say name) but he will be in the best care. God has graced these dr.s with exceptional skill and nurturing of their patients. I volunteer there now as I was one of those needy young ladies they blessed with their exceptional care and Im happily 2 years in remission and doing better than ever...His will is just that:, His will, and He will take good care of your little angel, we just need to open our hearts to Him. I can't wait to hear good news, JJ. God Bless you too sweety.

    I have a family member who was treated for a glioma at age 6 in the medical center you're speaking of Farmerlily. It is an excellent facility, with some of the best doctors in the world. She received such good care, and eventually made a full recovery. JJ, he is in good hands. Prayers for you and your family that you may find strength and comfort during this difficult time, and that your cousin's son has a quick and easy recovery.

    They are in Charlotte, but not sure of the hospital. So far they have been very pleased with the Drs and staff. Some of the Drs have even held back on billing due to his not having insurance.

    JJ, I am so sorry to hear about this. I hope with all my heart that his tumor is benign. I'm sending thoughts and prayers for your family, and hope that (in addition to expert medical care), they each be surrounded by emotional and financial support as they go through this.     So sorry to hear such sad news. I will be praying for your Cousin as well as the entire Family.
