Newbie observation

Wow I'm really hating the change in the Baha seed order. I've planted the wrong thing twice already and I only have 15 crops unlocked at this point. I'm dreading the thought that they may reorganize the main farm catalog as well I can already see myself accidentally planting artichokes instead of carrots.

My one hope is that the main farm is based on when the crops get unlocked and well Baha does not work that way.

 

I didn't even know they changed it...... went and looked and that really bites! I liked it better the way it was, lesser to higher, why mess with it? grrrrr

If things wern't bad enough today, I figured out how to play my market I made sweet profit. This should have been a yippy skippy day then I did the math for my long term goal as I am half way to my goal of starting on buying the mini chickens.......
I have farm envy, I done seen it and I want it, a field full of red chickens...... ever do the math?!?

I have always said it and I am sticking with it. Math hates me, and makes fun of me every which way!
I looked at what I thought was a nice profit, man what a joke Makes me feel like picking up my marbles and go pout in the corner.

 

Chris - I am so happy for your achievement! I remember my excitement when I reached that milestone and felt like I had finally stopped scrabbling for cc's. Just wish that was real money!

As we know it, baha field crop catalog has been reset based on the alphabetical order of the names of crop today.

Do not worry, there are 2 options to avoid accidentally planting wrong crops.

1. reduce/enlarge the size of the crop chart.
2. place your favorite crops into favorite menus.

ps. it is on main field crop catalog, but you may apply on baha field crop catalog as well​

Initially it may be difficult to get used to, but it increasingly easy with the changes that occur.

 

I don't like they changed the seed order in Bahamarama, I hope they won't change it in the farm too.

I wanted to mention that if you place some crops to your favorites in the main farm, they won't be also placed in the green meadow or in the magical glade.

 

Good news guys... The seed order on Bahamarama is back into normal/usual order again...

Yes, go ahead a think it, it's true, two higher math issues,...... my brain on logical thought... my head hurts and I am still getting different answers every time I check the math. but it's a fun ride to my final thought lol.

Ok, the reindeer it has two out there, one just flying baby reindeer and the other xmas version, still the same, my question is the moose one, I got the singing moose in a white suit singing to some mooseettes, now I seen a different one where he is on a record, is this the same as the reindeer or are they two different items but moose type?

While I am at it, where do you get the film roll? what is this?
I got more but the info is in the gray matter the math beat up and is a mixed up area right now.

 

Keltic, from your description I think you have the Moose pen, the one dancing on the record is the Moose Music Hall, it is the production workshop for the moose and produces hit singles.

 

The singing moose is the only moose stable that I know of. The moose on the spinning record is the product stable - hit records.

I forgot about the hit singles, I just got done buying some for a quest too, how does one forget! thank-you.
Now I know. Now I can go look and see if a quest has this, I just found the snorkel shop, I may get lucky.

 

100keltic, if you hover your cursor over a stall in your inventory, a description should come up to tell you what it is and does. If you look at the small picture in your inventory and you see an orange star with a hammer in it, it means it is a workshop to make products. If it has a yellow arrow pointing up with a colored heart, it is an upgrade and the heart is the color of the upgrade. If it has a yellow star with a C in it, it is a classic stable. Hope this helps.

 

I had been saving supergrow for a special time, and I had stocked up 160. Then, during the MM I had a finger spasm or something and, instead of hitting the water I hit SG! and it was when I had planted just a 2 hour crop!!!

Thanks for teh congrats, Willow and Silly Guy (omg! = same initials as SuperGrow!) and for the update on the Baha crop order; didn't worry me much as I only have a few crops (But now have a forest after the event with the wonder trees!) (the wonder pens/stalls were a little annoying though - got about a million beaver dams and a textile mill - the latter being annoying as I have not found a squirrel hut yet; but got playtpuss to, so that was cool)

Everybody looking forward to the kitty event? I guess it will be like the easter one, with the things popping up all over the shop etc. Seems we are having event after event presently; making it hard to concentrate on growing crops for animal feed and quests, but hey ho; off to work I go

 

So sorry Chris that is indeed one of the great disadvantages to using the harvester. When you make a mistake its on a grand scale and not just one little plot of land.

Can I just say how incredibly difficult I'm finding the florist trade. Ever since I opened it up during last months Renzo fair manure prices have skyrocketed. I'm either using or selling what little manure I've been able to produce. At this rate I might reach level 3 sometime before Christmas and here I thought paint pallets were going to be my biggest problem.

 

Clashstrummer - It is indeed difficult to level up in Florist; it took me quite awhile to get to level 4! I only make base products between events, to take the strain off my manure pile. Then, as I can, I work on pots or arrangements.

I leave an orange turkey and orange paint factory up at all times (unless a very difficult event requires their removal) to keep a steady supply of palettes. But the level 4 base product also requires down feathers, a workshop that I can't keep up constantly.

On a side note: my grandfather was a florist, and I don't recall these items being a part of his arrangements!

 

Thanks for the advice Willow. I manage to score some reasonably priced wedding arrangements and pots today so at least I'm a bit closer. That might be what I have to do to level up instead of making arrangements. I really just want to hit level 3 so I at least have the option of making a terror bouquet if I need one. Oh and it will trigger the bakery to open as well since florist is my 2nd trade.

 

Yeah, I on good words gave up on the florist, I need to build pallets/make money from them, and get all the runes that will make my manure pile bigger, 2 more levels on that to go. One day I will get back to it want to have the option to make my own terrors too, always good to have a choice.

But I had no idea the two mooses did different things, I thought they where like the reindeer same thing one is just a xmas design.
I still have no idea what the photo is in the mill, needs a film roll but that is the extent of my knowledge on that one, still feeling things out it seems.

 

Keltic, I think that milled photo is leftover from an event. I have a memory of reading a question in the help area that was answered by Teddy to that effect. Basically it's nothing to worry about or pay attention to.

 

The milled photo is for the Comic Library quests. When you go to the Farmer's Society to do FSQs, if you click on the middle icon instead of the one on the left (FSQs) or the one on the right (Customer Orders), you can choose to do one of the 3 repeatable comic quests. IMO, they are not worth it but some people have used them to get deco items for the cloud rows. (No guarantee that you will get a deco item but it is possible.)

I was thinking I was loosing it, I tried comics once before..Id rather have to start the LL rune again before I go back to conics!
I am so in a rush not to do them again, I can tell ya.

 

Clashstrummer - You can use wedding arrangements? I can't use wedding arrangements or wedding bouquets to go up on level 4; but can use church bouquets and autumn arrangements. It has been awhile since I got to level 3, so I don't remember if they were able to be used on lower levels.

Using craft products is definitely a shortcut, if you have the spare cc's; or you can make and use some of your own items for experience. I have done some of that, but actually have been using arrangements for my needs and for sale lately. Trying to build up cc's because a few months ago I went on a major buying spree!
