Strategy for Kitty Chaos

Right, Mir!!! 274 already (and it's at least 2 hours showing 174, meaning 274).

So, translated (as dafodily has already pointed out above): that person has managed to get over 30K event's crops done, over 1,6K event's drops, and milled the stuff for the equivalent of no less than 1,6K minutes, that is, 27+ hours......., already, in just 7 hours or so.

It's beyond my grasp. I can imagine how they got the drops, but over 30K 6hs crops in less than 7 hours with just 5 seeds to start from...., I have no idea on how this person could do that. With all stuff thrown, it takes around 1 hour for the crop to be done. And there's a maximum of 772 plots. Even Suzy-spraying each plot each time, in roughly 5,5 hours, after having nuked the initial 5 seeds, at the most, just 27K crops can be gotten done. How could this person slip in the equivalent of yet another full round? Because, at the same time, s/he must have dedicated some space to refined crops to get all those drops, unless s/he bought them from the store, which must be what s/he did.

Well, that I'm gasping is the least I can say. It's unbelievably frantic and so out of any proportion....

I can even imagine that person constantly staring at the screen in trance, in a dark room, only his/her face lit, fingers/hand plugged to mouse, ready to harvest and seed/throw everything over each plot over and over again, as this was the only way to fend off an unknown fatal threat to his/her life.

I hope s/he's at least not on a diet, poor soul.

 

If you buy event baskets you can sow all fields with 1x1s immediately and the mill product can be instantly finished with BBs

 

I hope the other 999 farmers in the top decide not to spend that kind of money. No way to compete with that here.

Still....

 

Completed 10 kitty toys and rec'd first gift. Will grow all crops overnight and continue using CAC, but since I can no longer afford supergrow (it's all gone at this point!) I will discontinue white innocence.

It appears one can buy one of each basket and an endless supply of drops. So the slow down is the crops. The top players probably buy lots of amendments such as SG & SSG & manure (perhaps from their other farms...). Then the snag is having nothing better to do that sit around and harvest every couple of hours. Buy lots of... Red Bull. Or hire someone to harvest/seed for them. Or write a bot... totally against game rules and nothing to brag about. (Well having the skills to write the bot is something to brag about. Using the bot to "win", not really.)

I'd rather use that time and money to make the world... at least my little world... a better place. A little money on a game, no big deal. Enough time and money to get on the Wall of Shame... I don't get it.

Back to RL for me... I've no clue how much I'm going to try to do or even want to do with this event.

 

Life has been busy. I fell asleep after planting the first 5 seeds and well since the other fields had carnations, I got 149 drops, but yeah I am way behind on the crops.

I think there are too many events back to back here, and anyone with busy RL can find it difficult to really compete well in all the events, and also, something like this where having very very deep pockets helps and having nothing to do in RL but sit on the computer playing farmerama ... I think it caters to a different niche crowd that most of us on this forum.

I plan to plant and enjoy the kitties and not even attempt to try to get on the leaderboard.

You've already figured out how this was done is all I can say to that.

We have some very knowledgeable farmers here and everyone of us has RLs. At this time I see absolutely no reason to give up on ones goals in this event. I'm going to stick to mine and sell all the poop my RL will allow me the time. And business is booming.

 

And here I was excited to mill my first 6 cat teasers.

I'm sure BP is perfectly happy to have players shelling over RM to try to get in the top 1000. This is my first experience with it and honestly I dislike the fact that all you need to do is be willing to spend lots of money. I would like it more if it was a true test of skill and stamina and there be a limit to how many BB you could use. I don't see that happening though as it would decrease the amount of money BP would make.

I don't want my name on a list because I spent more RL $$$. I'll play the event, for as long as I can to reap the rewards, but I WILL NOT be goaded into spending money to be internationally recognized!

 

I don't see why the game has not put the dual play in motion.
Have two top 1000's one where no rl money can be spent in the event time, and one where go for it all.
Have both play for the balance of awards, like 40% of growth time off and the other 40% more CC both for 3 hours. One would play for the give real money now and the other play for getting all farms built up to play not using money now. And this would keep both halves a bit more happy, to pay and not to pay but make the money needed to run them servers.

I am aiming to tease a few cats over the 100 needed for that cloud row, I don't have the goodies to do any more, But for those that have the toys that make all the doggies cry... get your name high in the sky with neon to letters to light all the sky! Look forward to seeing the winners.

I just feed the first 20 kitty. Prize good,
got some PF, wonder stable, some EP & BEP, sad don't got any GB or long hr
harvester coupon (only got 1X 3 hr) my friend got 2 X12hr coupon from the first 2 kitty.
How lucky she is !!!

 

Update back on and with my long harvest of Leeks got 126 drops for the day.
I am only to 30 plants b/c I could only log on once to plant and now to harvest.
My problem on this farm may be to get the event plants
RL still too hectic and I am going to do what I can and see how I end up.

 

I bought a 2 large Kitty baskets for USD$ 11.28 each
and have used 2200 supergrow.....
Update:I have spent 600 BBs to get 450 drops
crop growing is water only with about 50 XXL trees out
All my harvesting is done on 1 x 1 s with CAC

My stay on the list may be brief as not much more will I spend
(unless on the last day I think I am in with a chance....)

It is my understanding that to get on the list you have to complete the event with 100 kitties.
I have done 111 so am on the list with 11

I'm giving it my all...also bought 2 baskets...but haven't grown enough of the osier to finish.

Since I am one of Those Who Won Last Top 1000 at Harvest Festival....Your Farm Name will only Appear as You when you have Already Completed Entertaining 100 Cats plus Enough Surplus Entertained Cats that is more than the lowest Number on the List

When you have Completely Entertained 100 Cats and Enter into Top 1000 it will either last until 1000 Farmers have Entered into Top 1000 who have Entertained more Cats than you have.
Atm DavidB1yth007 is at 56....Yagki2000 is at 60 That Good to hear Brookeham is going for it too

I will Enter into Top1000 Maybe on 3rd or 4th Day of This Event as I need to Build up a Huge Amount of Osier First, Grow Many as I can Avoid using Super Grow and Manure.

I am Holding onto Super Grow to do splurge of Nuking of Comfort Fields of Rose Refinements I have to wait until my next lot of Osier is Ready to Harvest try fit it in some time today or bit later ....
