What are the advantages of having more than 1 farm? I am level 65 on main farm and 37 on Bahama farm. I keep hearing players talk about their other farm and I would like to know what I can gain by having a second farm. All comments and advice is welcome.
    My farm name is Doo401.

    Hi :)

You can play more than one farm at once of you want to :) But there can be no interaction between them, for instance, you can't send gifts between your farms. So you can't start another farm to gain some advantage.

There are no advantages of having more than one farm, any interaction between them is against the T&Cs of the game.
Some player just like the the game so much they want multiple farms

The only advantage is that with the second farm you have knowledge which you did not have on the first farm, and can, in theory, advance quicker and make different decisions along the way based on that knowledge.

I would say that maybe trying two completely different strategies on two different farms might be fun. I don't have the time for it but that would be one advantage I could see putting in that much effort for.

Thank you all for the information. I thought maybe one farm could help the other one the way some folks were talking. It certainly would have been nice to have known what I know now when I started, but I don't think I'm quite willing to go back and start all over on another farm just to avoid the mistakes I made and while I enjoy playing the game, I don't have the time, or energy to work two farms. Thanks again for taking the time to share your knowledge with someone who is still learning. Best wishes to you all and happy farming.

There is an advantage in being able to gift more often if you have more farms. If I had the extra time, I would love to be able to send more gifts through a second farm. Farmer Broke has helped many players in need with his huge collection of farms.

That would be a nice benefit. I just had a neighbor who had two farms and wanted to go down to one, send me a lot of things that really helped me during the gift and trade event. I can now send 7 free gifts a day, which helps, but it is still not enough when you have 17 neighbors. That is one part of the game I would like to see changed so you can gift every neighbor every day. It would be nice to have multiple farms just for that reason, but I wear out my clicker finger just trying to farm 1 farm with 3 fields, plus Bahama. I hear a lot of people talking about the benefit of having your farm land in 1 by 1 squares, but I get tired of all the clicking with 2 by 2 squares. My clicker finger would fall off if I had all my fields in 1 by 1 plots of land, let alone multiple farms! EEGADS! The idea gives me apoplexy! haha. Seriously though I do see the benefits and I really appreciate the input from everyone who has taken the time to share their knowledge with me. Thank you very much and happy farming.
