My baby farm now has all EP givers but no cloud row. Really would like the trees and stables on that farm.

 

Seven Harvey Cottontails;and just one of the daily gifts was five mystery stables: and that adds to 7 x 14 gifts !!!!
Plus I have enough CAC to fill a warehouse !!!
CAC stands for 'chocolate and cream' doesn't it?

 

I hate to encourage gambling, but gosh darn it, I feel the need to address the comments several had posted earlier, that this game was a waste of resources. I didn't lose any resources and in fact I made money playing with the Recyclomat, plus I have gotten great prizes. If you have limited batteries, try Pool A for 5 rounds. I spent 77,500 cc on tree fruit, which was bargain priced at .31 cc per EV, to get the 250,000 EV deposit. I used 175 batteries to play and now I am ahead 72,500 cc and I won 100,000 EP! Specifically I won 45,000 cc twice and 2 CAC which I sold for 30,000 cc each for a total of 150,000 cc prize winnings, less the cost of the deposit. If you have more batteries to spend and use Pool B or C, the results will be much better, as the ratios of deposits to prizes are much better. And don't forget to start each deposit with the free event crop, as posted previously, it regenerates each day!

Gambling is exactly what we have here. How many cities and towns are loosing by having the lottery in place? There must be a winner periodically to keep people playing. I'm really beginning to enjoy the masses playing.
I admit to making a comment like the gaming is a complete waste of resources. We expect to see the appearance of isolated winnings and gambling is what it is.

This is called "the odds." The odds of winning are just enough to encourage the masses to loose. And given that this whole fiasco is a game I will provide the standard excuse and I quote: This is a game and there is no correct way of playing it.

Many are loosing resources without a doubt. Our current winner bought tree fruit bargain priced at .31 EV. Nearly half of the net lottery winnings are found in that market purchase and not the lottery itself. So we have one farmer destroying their farm and another an isolated grand prize winner. And there are many destroying farms and throwing away resources. For further evidence go to the Market Bargains thread and the Market Vultures there and happily taking the farms.

As for CAC winning included in the net lottery winnings all I can say is that there was a junk CAC cloud row given and someone just bought junk CAC which brought me back to the market again.

The word "market" keeps surfacing in analysis. So I just decide I had better take a quick stroll through the market too. And what do you knowwwwwww

40,000 oats I'll net 6 on immediately after market commission ... that's 240,000
52,000 grapes I'll net 11 after market commission .....that's 572,000

That's a total of 812,000 on a stroll taken due to the Winner's posting.

Unless the sky falls there is no risk!

Want some ep? Heyyyyy Plant an apple tree. OR take the 812,000 ccs in what will easily be made from those destroying their farms and buy 1.5 Million ep.

Just realized that what I thought was the Turloid to complete my collection, was in fact the stupid sticker. Back to pool 3 with me, not holding out a lot of hope, as lately all seem to get is EP, BEP, or CC. Or PJ.

That's what I'm doing on my market. Too much junks to be accumulated. Several tens of million coins I've spent to help a lot of people, but unfortunately my powers are very limited. I wish to have unlimited coins to spend.

My strategy is to help the poor farmers too! It's just ridiculous now! Noone is going to listen so I can say this openly to you: Get this ....

They are even throwing away junks and product trash that they will need for the coral reef ..... hahahaha And it isn't as far off as some are trying to believe. ooooppppppps! (I spilled the beans)

I'm finished, you can have um. Can't help um! And I'm not going to help the masses return to having level 10 barn stock.

My strategy now is to load up all this stuff and lead the caravan to my barn to unload it.

I have to live in the park until the event is over. When I show the farmwife then I'll be able to move back into the big house and visit with the baby farms.

I am now almost done. I am now growing a couple of moderately quick crops boosted just with manure and refinements for same. (I am still not sure about refinements, but I have taken the approach to get some water and manure boosts for a few longer crops. This seems to benefit without too high of a cost, for me).

 

I really need to visit here more - I was dumping all of my batteries into C until I read this thread. SIGH

FINALLY got the cloud row - yeahhhh - trying to get a kiwi stable but ran out of batteries.

Farmer Broke you are hilarious. I grew lots of high EV crops in anticipation of this event but, and you will appreciate this, I sold them during the event. I made money on lemons and roses and carnations to buy tropical fruits in the market. I think the journey of repeated deposits to gain a Cloud Row was not just fun, but I came out ahead. And hooray, I now have a completed Cloud Row. It isn't priceless, but with one click every three days it will generate 36,000 EP and 15,000 BEP, show me an apple tree or market deal that can do that.

MizSeekerNC the prizes from Harvey do not go into the gift log, but if you have the pop up you can see them as they arrive. The pullup log at the bottom of the page also notes them, but every time you log out the history disappears and the space is limited so you need to check frequently to see them.

 

I really respect your growing strategy prior to the start of the event and your ability of make ccs among those self-destructing is great. You mention the cloud row. And you got the three giver items. Also you give the rewards which you will receive ever three days! Seriously you are right, there is no apple tree that will give those rewards in a single click or two. Event on a market transaction one cannot make ep other than make ccs and then buy an ep product and still not in a lick or two.

I'm going to put a price on this reward and it's not exact and will vary by market but I'll make it easy.

36,000 eo I can buy for 2 ccs per ep and that's 72,000 ccs
15,000 BEP I can buy for 3 ccs per ep and that's 45,000 ccs

72,000 plus 45,000 is 127,000 total .

Am I going to spend 127,000 ccs to buy any kind of ep every three days? Absolutely not!
Would I spend that in a year. Absolutely Not! But some do.
Would I take it if they gave it to me. Ummmmm, I'll give a click if I think about it .... so I'll say YES!

One has actually bought ep while having fun and I don't have a problem with that.
And even better, the price of the ep gets lower and lower and lower BUT IF the cloud row is complete and we ignore the giver items.
LOWER!

But how long to get low? Well that depends on what one has invested in playing the get the CR and the giver items
and it can be cheap OR
it can cost millions!
And some just do not have the millions and will be looking or with partial items or even an empty CR.

Now its just like the lottery: Those who can least likely afford the loss are the most likely to play.

I want to take your advice. Whatever you say, I'm going to do here.

I have the cloud crow and one giver item from gambling one time. I can afford the loss. But I really don't want to spend gazillions for something I don't care about. BUT, since this is Aetheria, I will do exactly as you say. I need the recylo booth and have 595 batteries. If you say gamble then I will. I don't need any alternatives and this and that now. All I need is a go or no. And if you say nothing then that is exactly what I am going to do ..... nothing!

So what do you say I do Winner? And my tape recorder is running and you can bet I'm going to say: Well Aetheria said .......

 

My goodness Farmer Broke! Such a fuss because I spoke up about my experience, and I thought the RecycloMat was fun. It is a game, the money isn't real. I am a newer player, but it is my impression that once you advance to a certain point in the game, you stop fretting over what things cost or if you made a profit. You buy what you want when you want, and if someone else profits by that, win-win. As to your question, get the tape recorder ready, I would never, ever advise you to gamble. Now hopefully that is settled. Please help yourself to a nice big mug of chamomile tea and some freshly baked cookies.

 

Aetheria, you can't take broke too seriously. He is one of our resident market gurus, and most of what he says is usually over my head. Also, a great deal of what he writes is meant in fun, as well as helping those of us who are seriously market challenged (raises hand sheepishly). As far as gambling, he's one of the biggest gamblers on here , one of his favorite pasttimes is taking his CCs down to zero buying up deals, then reselling them at a profit. As for not fretting over what things cost once you advance, I'm level 90, have over 9 million CC (paltry compared to broke and many others, lol), and I'm still stingy with the coins . The thing experience gives you is the ability to know when you're seeing a good deal so you can snatch it up.

And I would really like to thank my dear friends and also my dear neighbours who sent me batteries and helped me progress so far in this event even though I started it late with no drops except one battery from previous event and did not post a request for the drops. My neighbours too did not care whether I sent them the drops but just kept sending me the drops. I was really overwhelmed. I felt happy. Every gifts carried with them the love and affection of the sender to me. Thank you so much friends, neighbours !

And thank you Arielh & Mooby for the advise. I did the Large Pool first & got the booth. Then the middle poll & got the cloud row. Waiting for cloud item from the middle pool. Already harvested more than 200 to 300 drops. So I hope I might be able to get the remaining item from the next 100 drops as per Mooby's calculation.

Net problem not yet solved. So might just be dropping in now & then. Have a happy weekend & finish this event super duper.

Well broke, I don't know whether to be happy for you since you now have all the EP givers or cry for you because you over donated to the machine. There are no refunds so you can either let the machine have your fruit to use as fuel to return to their home planet or give it another try. You might get something you can sell and then go shopping. Shopping will turn thoseinto when you find a good deal but be warned....you will then be back to because you are broke!
