Strategy for Neon Stables Event

Baby Boom event event has been announced
Starts: Wednesday, 19th of August at 14:00 CEST
Ends: Wednesday, 19th of August at 22:00 CEST

 

Nice for the one's that cannot wait doing the event Quite sure there will be another one at the weekend anyways, they've done that before....

 

Sadly, there are basically no lower level breeding animals available in my market now. Looks like I will have to breed....

 

My strategy is to skip this event and make some CC

 

a 8 hr BBD come with the PF sales , What a surprise mini event..
What BP thinking??? To me, this is not a good business decision,
How much PF sales BP will get from this short life BBD?
For my time zone, I could only use 5 hr for BBD, yes I will do
some breeding, but I may not do much breeding for this event.
Before BBD announced, I still not make up my mind how to approach
this event. Just go for the neon stable or run for CR. Lot of PF need
As buy all base animal look impossible for me. Thanks for this 8 hr BBD
I will just go for neon stable.. If I had some luck & got some great skip.. Which
lucky enough to got 1 or 2 deco will be great!

I always try to keep around 1000/ animals. So, rabbit & goat will be no problem. I just
raised enough chickens. Thus. when BBD come, I may breed any animals I want & don't
restricted to the those 3 animals.

 

I expect there will also be a BBD during the weekend as usual

Many have asked for a BBD at start of breeding events, we had one last time too, but then it was a surprise, this time it has just been announced in advance.

 

Yes there will always be a normal BBD starting on friday as it always has been when it comes to a breeding event runs for at least 36 to 48 Hours.
Now it is second time they have announced a Short Time BBD to some of you this Helps but the rest of you it not help you as some of you are about to go to bed, or go to work etc. As weekend BBD suits nearly all of us. So for those who need to do some breeding can take advantage of this the last one was no announcement !!
Some of you may find some breeding animals that will help you complete this Event sold out in the markets or too pricey to buy in the markets
I have now made 25 Million CC from Sales of Animals and Breeding Animals Chickens Climbed to 1100 CC, Goats to 2200 CC and Rabbits to 3000 CC on my Market but have Cooled down a bit as I can Buy of these back at much cheaper discount when this Event Ends.
I will see how the Breeding Markets Trends during this Event do some Breeding to work on Breeding Quests and Make CC

In The FAQ you can Make Additional Chicken, Goat and Rabbit Neon Stables but it is asking for High Amount of Tools and Top Breeding Animal too. As it may be tempting to Make if we are lucky enough to get one of these Top Breeding Animals during BBD

 

This is now my goal for autumn because this event found me unprepared. Usually I have all the requirements for the events but this time the quantities are so big.

What will you breed in this time-shorted BB?

 

It depend on how much time I could used. As I just forget the timezone & click the
breeding CR, so tomorrow I could only start breeding half hr later(need 24 hr for
CR cooling) I hope that I will remember the event starting time & don't find it out
when I only got 2 hr before I need to go for bed!
If I don't screw, I expect to cont'd my pig breeding, My target is get a piggy bank.
I had over 600PF on hand.
Regarding this event. after get those neon stable, if there is BBD on weekend. I
may breed something. chicken? rabbit or goat? not yet determined.

 

I have everything I need for this farm though I may alter what I donate depending on market prices of base and lowest bred animals - if I can work it out! Chevrefeuille has a little work to do but at least it has the necessary animals for the Neon Stables, I will decide how proceed after that.

I am in no hurry to complete this event and may wait till animal prices go down nearer the end of the event.

I was pleased to see an early Baby Boomer for all of one second ... till I saw the date and time. I am working tomorrow afternoon and will get absolutely nil benefit! Will have to wait till the weekend to do any breeding - though I may not actually need to do anything for this event. I have spent the morning working out what I need to get the Neons and then to finish the event. I have now read most of this thread and gleaned a few hints. I am really going to try to do this event with my brain in gear and not just donate willy nilly as is my usual style! We'll see!

Thanks Mooboy, your last suggestion of combinations of breeding animals. I have all of them except 1 Gumbo so I am feeling very confident that I will be able to complete everything and sell to make some extra CCs.

I do not think tomorrows pre-baby boom is gone to help me. Boo-hoo!

 

Sweetie, you know that's a language I'm fluent in. But, in this case, I'm not sure it would benefit anyone else. I just realized I'd valuated certain assets incorrectly. Now that I have a better understanding of what I actually have (and don't have), I can adjust some of my goals accordingly. It's really good seeing you post again. You should stick around awhile

I have enough animals to do the Neon Stables part of the event and some coloured animals to help with the cloud row but I'm sure I'll have to breed some more. The Neon stables are so lovely I can't wait to have them.

Ugh, I'm so lost on how to approach this event. I don't want to give any breeding animals but I don't have enough base animals to complete any of it. I had to plant trees this past week due to family emergency that took me away from any computer time. It's now hurting my game plan. I don't want to buy my way as I hate being broke and haven't even after all this time really figured out how to make money in the market and play events.

I must have those neon stables though.

As much as I hate to miss a cloud row I think I'll have to skip that part. Oh well.

Just going to wait till the vent starts and then decide the strategy.

 

I have a BIG DUMMY question that I need help with. The FAQ says you if you donate more EV than requested, the additional EV will not appy to the next level. This I can comprehend. Knowing this has me confused about the steps of requirements. For chickens, the 1st step requires 5,000 & the 2nd step requires 10,000. Does this mean that the 5,000 from step 1 applies to step 2 meaning we only have to donate another 5,000; OR, Do we have to give 5,000 for the 1st step and another - new- 10,000 for the 2nd step making it a total of 15,000 to complete steps 1 and 2.

In all other events, the 1st example is true, but them telling us that going over the requirement will cause us to lose EV has me confuzzeled.

Smart people, please help me.

Not a dumb question at all. I'm pretty sure each step is independent. So, 5000 for 1, 10,000 for the next, and so on. At least, that's what all the figures our super-smarties have given indicate.
Edit: Right? Or is it cumulative?

 

With the short baby boom window on 8/19, does anyone know if you can put out your breeding pens before the event starts and harvest these stables as baby boom after the opening bell? The other choice of course is waiting for the opening bell to put your stables out.

 

That is right poppy 5000 for the first, then a new 10000 for the second.

Yes tpabird, you can start the breeding pens before BB has started, just make sure to refresh the game and check that BB is actually running before you harvest them
