New Bahamarama Rain Forest (New Land)

Bigpoint has Made Official Announcement that we can Unlock The New Rain Forest from The Magic Glade Tree only needing 250 Stars

There is no Quests Stages to Complete or any Temple Statues to Unlock to unlock each Section of Rain Forest Land There is nothing in FAQ Stating otherwise.

It will be Exactly Same Size as Bahamarama Island, Also will able do the sane things that we can do on Island.

This Means we can Reap Extra Bahm EP from any Harvesting of Rain Forest, plus the Effects of Pets and Buffs is also Extended to Rain Forest too

I wonder what you will do with the Extra Bahm Land, weather will it be Tropical Crops, Animals or Island Fruit Trees.

Wonder what you Planned or intend to do with This New Land ....???

 

I'm going to have to think on this for awhile....plan out what will reap the most BEP's.
I do know that I have so many trees that I tend to rotate them according to how much stock I have. So I will probably use some space for XXL trees.
My FHO's are asking for products and the prices are rising in the market for these so I'll probably use space for these too. Great BEP from these stalls, will just have to figure out how to arrange all my buffs to make it work

Now we just need a half off sale in the shop so I can buy another owl and some more Classic II parrots

I am, like many newer players, scrambling to get enough stars. I had hoarded 125, which felt like a lot, but only halfway there. I would appreciate any suggestions on the least painful ways to get the remaining stars. I raced to the market to buy some breeding animals and the least expensive products. I also put back my fleet of mustache and luggage workshops. I think more space for island crops, stalls and workshops is absolutely worth any short term losses, but the advantage of an extra field of event crops is huge.

I expect the market will be going a little crazy for awhile with everyone trying to complete quests, so if you have been hoarding, this is probably going to be an optimum time to sell.

The Colour Chameleons, Open House and The Golden Egg quests (related to bred chameleons, cuckoos and geese) give 2, 4, 6 stars per S, G, D task respectively, double the usual star reward. The lowest levels/tasks are very easy to fill and give you great star rewards. I've done no task of any of the levels of these quests but some -and I won't since I am plenty of stars-. Maybe for you that's a good place to start.

Another owl!!! Yes!!! I did not recall that. (I have 12 ClassicII parrot pens, but parrots have the lowest stock; I may also buy 2 or 4 more).

Products: that's something possible. But, anyway, I'll be producing the same stuff as ever, with no additional pens -bikinis and peanut butter workshops are banished-, since all Baha products are cheaper to buy than produce, even now that the nFHOs started to ask for them.

Most probably, I'll use this extra land mostly for trees, up to a certain point. And maybe I'll deactivate some of the CRs and transfer the items to this land once I get the 7th owl.

But we shouldn't make any long term plans. I bet this new land will soon bring along new quests and, hence, additional insane requirements that will force us to change any plans we may set on stone now. And I also bet there soon will be new GB-consuming ideas. Maybe BP comes up with a Baha-chunnel idea to be built with GBs and then ask for GBs as a toll. LOL. It won't be toll-free.

By the way, one natural outcome of this additional land is that every single Baha produce's prices in mkt should fall. This means many of the over-preciously items like amherstias, baobabs or the very high end trees should soon start to lose glimmer and attractiveness. An instant devaluation of current stocks.

Haven`t yet decided what I will do with the additional land .
But I can foresee all Events that use Baharama for growing crops , will have an increase in the requirements .
Otherwise the Events would be too easy .

 

Aluntino, Such a great idea!! I have extra items now that are just sitting in inventory.

I haven't made bikinis or peanut butter in ages but I thought it might be great to use all those orange chopstick factories I got from Castles in the Sand. But that might be what everyone else does which will drive the prices down making them not worth making either.

They will have to come up with something to use GB's, can't have us collecting too many of them I'm sure requirements will be high.

 

Hi Aetheria14 or to Any other Newbies to Needs to Gain Stars Quickly as This is Alternative Non Breeding Quest. But will need a fair amount of CC to be able to do this without the Need to Grow anything or Breed Anything.

You Simply Buy as Many Products from The Markets using your CC Purse. Snap Up Products which you can use to Complete Products Quests. But Bear in Mind the Lastest Newest Products are not cheap to buy...but many older Products are reasonably Priced in the Markets. Here is List of Product Quests you can Complete. The Two Latest Products Quests gives 70 Stars Per Completion They are Versatile Valise and Sticky Situation all Other Product Older Quests Gives 60 Stars Per Completion

But Bear in Mind Products such as Peanut Butter, Chopsticks,Flying Carpets and Bikini The Prices in the Markets does go up and down as at times it cost more to Produce than they can be sold back to the Market. Making it Not Effective to Grow to Gain Bahm EP it is temping to do this as it does give good Baha EP

But if More Farmers more willing to complete Bahm FHO demanding Products this would push up Bahm Product Prices...BUT we will having more land Bahm Product Production which could push these Bahm Product Prices Downwards

This Extra Land may help us complete demand for Event Crops Quicker or they May increase Demand of Event Crops now we have more land to grow it on. On The Other Hand it will help boost Event Drop Items during Events and Even Boost Effectiveness of Buffs and Cloud Rows that Rewarding us with Extra Bahm EP helping us getting More GB

It it might sound that there are some Temple Statues in the Pipeline that going to be asking for GB lately they has been some kind of Pattern Indicating This From Recent Event Rewards and Bahm EP Cloud Rows. Plus giving us The Brand New Rain Forest which will
help us level up the Island Quicker to Gain those Valuable GB's

I have a Few Cloud Rows and Chestnut King That Boost More Bahm EP on Tropical Trees This will be huge Boost if I had Rain Forest full of Trees after all it is a Rain Forest lol

It all depends how does the Bahm Market Becomes will Rain Forest have effect on it Prices Then i will use Rain Forest which suits me and Effective for my Farm

What type of owl from the shop are you referring to? Certainly not the owl pen from the main land?? Also ClassicII parrot pens are those something won from an old event?? I am loving this new rain forest and it seems too good to be true..... so be very very cautious. I would like to use it for my trees that I currently have no room for.

 

At last, the wait is nearly over. I am so ready for this. At first, I'll use the new land just for crops and add more animals to the existing island. After rebuilding my stocks, will probably have one island just for trees and long grow time crops. The other island will be animals and shorter-term crops. As always, subject to change without notice.

 

Hi Molly It is the owl pet: it gives +10% EP every 30 minutes, here is the FAQ.

One can only have one owl on each field, so right now we can have a maximum of 6 owls, with the new field we can add another one, which is great since the bonus works on all fields (not like the trophy bonus or howie donut bonuses that only work on the field where they are placed)

Classic II parrot pens can be purchased from the shop for BBs, not sure if they have been event rewards, not that I can remember at least. They are also tradeable at G&T

Hi!
I got all excited about the new Rainforest and then realized...I only had 68 stars. Instant PANIC! Then I remembered the quests, which I have been ignoring while building my barn stocks up to reasonable minimums. Yes, 100.000 of each crop, 3.000 of each fruit and 1.000 of each animal IS reasonable, dangnabbit! I now have exactly 250 stars, at which point I stopped delivering.
Is it here yet? How much longer? Is it here yet? How much longer? Is it here yet?
And then I had the second nasty shock of the day. I can see FLOOR in my barn!
Well, at least the Baha stuff will be fairly easy to restock. And thank BP there's CAC & PJ.

I agree events would be much easier if you have the extra land, but since you have to earn the meadow, the glade and the islands, I'm expecting that there will be a mix ahead. Yes, a few times you will be able to use it for events, but for many, if not most events, you will not. What I'm hoping for is being able to put my favorite items: trees, stalls and workshops, in the Rainforest and not take them up and down for every event.

I am very surprised this extra field won't require stages to unlock, it appears to be just one rune. This is a real gift to new players who can choose to do this with their stars first.

 

I have 295 stars saved up on JJsFarm. Almost touching the LL rune ....did I mention I hate moving those trophies. But I think I can earn the stars back with more space for Baha. I only have 3 areas open there now.
I'll just have to drag them trophies around for awhile longer

 

Aetheria, I wouldn't expect events to get easier, I expect they would raise the requirements then which in turn makes it harder for those who don't buy the harvest helpers. But we'll have to wait and see what happens

 

I'm about 100 stars shy of the promised land. I've already done most of the lower end product FSQ's which leaves me with koi, ostrich eggs and cookware mostly all of which have sky high prices right now in the market. Might be time to get serious about the garden expo quest.

With the new land I might actually grow some crops on Baha, I mostly buy them right now as my island is covered in trees, animal and production pens. I might also open up a breeding animal finally but not sure I'm ready to go there yet still need to get some breeding stock for the higher end main land animals.

As Mir, Mooboy and Aluntino have also indicated, I believe there will be strenuous events and yet more high value GB items appearing along with the added land.

While market prices could drop for older Baha items, there will also be new animals/trees added to the mix that will demand high initial prices; as well as take up some of our new space. It will be interesting to see the game/market dynamics this new area creates.

I plan to start with some XXL trees and a few pens - needed restocking. Also, I have a few quests that I would like to finish; so planting for that. But no long term set plans; the demands of the game won't really allow for that in my opinion.

My star hoarding has paid off, though - I can easily open the new area without going bankrupt on stars! Very happy this land will open without stages!
