To buy or not to buy...strategy for current magical stalk row sale

Hello all! I looked and looked but couldn't find any threads related to this, so I hope I'm not repeating and I hope I'm in the right place (I have been known to miss what's right in front of me, tho, so I apologize if I've messed up). I am looking for advice regarding the current Magical Stalk sale. I'm wondering what the current consensus on the cloud row is, whether it's worth buying the package, or enough to just get one particular deco item. I'm not overly excited by the row, but adore the Courtly Sandcastle . I'm leaning towards conserving my BBs for secret seedlings this weekend, and just going with the sandcastle, but wondered what others thought. Any input appreciated.

 

Seems like this is more Chitchat than strategy, but...
There is no wrong or right answer, it just depends on what you want. If you are "on the fence" and in a position to maybe get more BB, then just remember that you may be able to get the deco items and the seedlings through G & T at some point (probably not the next one, but later). The cloud row is unlikely to come back.
Then again, if you don't want to use all your BBs and getting the sandcastle will make you happy... go for it. This is a game, its about fun.

 

I am passing and would rather "Earn" my CRs and the required items. Not worth my 'real' money.

 

I only consider buying cloud rows that give something special. I think I have only ever bought two: valentines cloud row and the April fools cloud row. I don't buy rows that just give a fixed amount of EP/BEP, there are plenty to win in events and like Banjo I prefer to earn them rather them buy them.

But I will admit to buying a few items for my shipwreck bay, besides the farm wheel items it is so hard to get items for park/shipwreck since most items awarded in events go on cloud rows. But I'll only consider buying 10 hour items, those fit my schedule best. It is my new goal to have only 8-10 hours items (or 18-20), so that I can harvest twice a day with all pets. The 12 hour items annoy me

Woody, you may very well be right, truth is, I had no idea where the proper place to post was. I appreciate all the input, and will understand if the mods need to close or move this.

 

I always enjoy reading your posts spots so if they are a bit long I don't really notice

 

I am not a mod, it was just my opinion. The truth is there doesn't seem to be a clear distinction between the 2. If you put "strategy" in the heading, it seems its generally OK here. If it wasn't closed yet, it likely won't be.

 

I'll put my hand up and say I did buy the CR as I had enough BB. The items themselves seem to be pretty good BEP givers for shipwreck if you have room, but I'm with Mir in that I dislike the 12hr ones and find anything less that that more manageable for a two time harvest around my work schedule.

 

I too would have splashed out if they had not been 12 hours long. For the same reason I would not buy the individual items to put on Shipwreck.

 

Maybe if the BB sale had actually happened I would have been more interested. Now I'm saving what I have for trees. I'm a sucker for those tree/stable events. I hadn't thought about the whole 12 hour thing as I have few items in my park that I already work around to try and harvest twice a day. I will store that little tidbit of info though as it's a very good point.

 

For me, the 12 hour limit is not a drawback at all.. just saying. I don't log in every 10 hours on a regular schedule anyway. I am not buying it because I have quite a few cloud rows and, like others want to save my BB for the trees/stables.

 

I did started to Buy Cloud Rows, when they included Bahm EP Givers which i can use on Cloud Row or in the Shipwreck that gives me BEP couple of did give special rewards not all of them.

They do give really good BEP Givers. I dont really update my cloud rows every 12 Hours only about once a day....

Since we will be able to Unlock the New Rain Forest we can put these New Bahm EP Givers in Rain Forest, if your Shipwreck is full in on my Farm it is full.

I do have a Cloud Row that Reduces The BEP Givers time by 10% So any Giver that is 12 Hours or less will do for me as i can use two pets that gives 20% Every 10 Hours so I am debating weather to get them or not

 

At the moment my cr's are events that I finished, but if the situation was that the cr offer was worthy and I couldn't finish an event for it, I'm sure I would buy items for it. Some of them are better ep givers than any pets Ive spent money on....(something I also can't pass up)

Well, I look at it this way, I have bought: CR/raffle ticket/BB's <I am 3rd party player we don't get movie free bees>/pets/a basket or two/I am sure there's more.

I am a new player, the wheel is fun to me and I like "winning" things on it. Half off sale come again soon!
I like my one single all by itself Howie I also enjoy every item I got with them BB's.
Do I buy flying fish and 12 hour items? yep.
Do I think about it? not really I need toys, again if you don't know I have farm envy.
It's cheaper than a night out, better than a dozen donuts, and it makes me smile.
I have cut down on my starbucks stops, ok, and increased in my taking big thermos of deathwish coffee from home but that's not here or there.
To buy or not to buy that is the question, for me depends on my smile needs.

My thoughts exactly, 100keltic! But I'm also passing on this cloud row and saving what little I have from this month for trees. If I could buy stars, however, I'd be spending on that new rainforest!
