Well, you see it's not the beaver I have issues with.
I really don't care if they want one of the streams or all three have at it what I have issues with is the laws.
Now I like nature....to a point. That point is where it costs me money to undo the "damage" that they cause.

For the talk I will overlook the fact it's my land, as the gov has shown me it does not matter if it's mine.
don't think so, look it up.
I started this hate as I got fined 1200.00 a day till I fixed the damage as one fine, not counting the costs of removing the debris and the cost of replacing the soil and fixing the land next to the damage.

Ok, now I don't know about you but I can't tell my dog stop hogging the pillows let alone a wild river rat to not have kids and have them grow up and go out and get there own turf and build a house.

I can't tell my dog with any success not to eat his biscuit laying upside down he thinks it's funny to hear me yell let alone tell a young beaver not to "cut down" rare trees to use in their house.
The rare trees on the land were planted by me, doesn't matter, I found out I can't cut them down as they are now enhancing the value of both nature and the towns value. Let's ignore the fact I planted them I didn't cut them down!

My grove of black walnut is for the next generation but the laws to it are just dumb.
Back on track, the beaver can live here, I don't mind. What I mind is that some shirt can trespass on posted land and tell me my stream is being filled with debris <beaver dam> and it's flooding the surrounding land <again mine I didn't complain the beaver didn't so who's it hurting?> and I am being held in account to repair it.

Then if that wasn't dumb enough, some buck tooth shirt comes on to tell me I can't cut down rare trees then fine me for the damage to the tree lines!

I try to stop them, <the beavers I am still raking up daily fines I don't need new ones> while I fight this out and peta comes to the party saying I am adding stress to a protected animal with the steel I put on the trees and they fine me.

See the pattern? I got rid of the rats.
    I now 2x's a year rent the trailer/generators, it's cheaper than the court costs/lawyer fees/days off/travel time I got fighting shirts.
In the end I got the fines dropped only if I planted two trees for every one downed, and removed the stumps/and replaced some soil.
Just to make the stream not a nice place to set up house.
Can't kill them, can't trap and relocate, law says so, but you can let kids be kids and play everyday on your land, no law yet.
America, land of the free-.-If you are a beaver.

Actually, sounds like you are sort of are arguing my point.
I don't know enough about your situation to comment specifically. We like the fertile soil, other benefits that have come from having had millennia of beavers, but then we build houses and set up laws as if nature should all be held in nice neat picket fences.

Anyway, hope the beavers in farmerama don't cause you trouble.

Not saying anything that I didn't say in the 1st post, animals no issue it's the laws. I don't see the point of your words. <snip, its just that we have decided we need to build in their territory. snip>

The fine issue was dead. thread had fun, looking for a beaver name, fine beaver, bucky, flat head and all moved on. Then this? who said anything to this? I was ranting to useless fines accusing me of placing debris in the stream on my own land when it was a beaver house.
I was being cute sharing a funny story you know laugh with me at my life hiccup, looking at it from being over and looking back at the fully dumb ways of gov. and peta to get in and make a buck on the back of ________ fill in blank to the item of the day.

We can't touch the beaver, but we are to de-house him <clean the debris>, starve him <save the rare trees>and change the coarse of nature itself!<somehow figure out a way to comply and be fine free>

Things that are funny after the fact, home steaders having to micro chip the livestock <imagine microing every chick then laugh, think do the egg with tape or fitting that chip in a itty bitty chick> so the gov. can tax them right, gift tax to passing on the farm to your own kids, no more fruit stands by the road law........bucky in this is just a victim used to open the window, and he is run off to avoid all the gov. headaches.
Anyone would read it and feel for the beaver, like George Carlin said we are all for half way houses just not in my back yard.
A person cannot let nature be, and a person cannot comply they have you either way.

Now in the game beaver are a good critter, hero's to the land let's move on and be all cartoonie and hand him a hard hat.

Has anyone noticed the "global" part of the signs in 12ss12 link???? Maybe why we were all given so many classic beaver stables is due to the fact that as a collective community....we will need to donate huge amounts of beavers??? o_OEeeek!!! We have failed a global donation before.....and it was disaster!!!!:sleepy:

Brookeham means the below picture. Its in my post number 38 of this thread. I was wondering from the time I posted the picture why no one noticed the wordings and was waiting for someone to mention it. Brookeham did it. From the turn of the gossips I feel that this event might be different from other breeding events.

Latest pictures confirm Brookeham and my guess.

The mechanism of the game can be found out from the above pictures. I had to paste all pictures to get an idea of the event mechanism. All these pictures were taken from a single post of a Spanish Moderator. So, Moderators, please excuse me for such a long list of pictures. I had no other option.

There are more pictures at the above link. Hope I have not messed with the pictures.

It has been a long time since we have had a global event. The one I remember most was one close to Christmas. It was my first year playing (only about 3 months). Winter Magic 2012. There was another one we had too but I don't remember it. Global requirements are usually so high and I cannot recall that we were able to finish. Let's hope this time the requirements are reasonable. It could be a great event with all pitching in.

o_OCan't help but wonder if a ton of timber will be needed along with the bevy of beavers to be required!
Also, do you suppose the title above the photos will pass the forum netiquette rules?:p

I wondered about that, too:pIt's probably very appropriately named, but it's unusual for BP. Maybe it's just a working title. I really hope timber isn't required. I have exactly 1 sawmill, and dreadfully low stocks. Since it's a breeding event maybe it will only ask for animals.

I only have 2 sawmills too poppy. Historically, it has been cheaper to buy it as it takes 48 hours to make timber. Hopefully, we can get some workshop upgrades in the event to make a significant reduction in time.

I only have 1 sawmill but I have over 300 products. I don't like buying products from the market even if I know they are not worth producing them.
I look forward to this global event, I remember I have taken part in one or two.

I'm confused by the whole global event thing. Not sure what that means I guess I can wait for the FAQ to find out. Not happy to have another breeding event so close to the last one I am very low on PF and pheromones as I've not had time to restock much.

I strongly agree with you, poppy.
Or rather it takes the beavers and colored beavers, such as mechanism on Neon Stable event in just few day ago.

    The global requirements:
It was already some hints in the pictures.
    Progress : 0 / 250.000
    Personal Progress : 10.445.667 out of 100.000.000
    :wuerg::wuerg::wuerg::wuerg:

    And ....... Justin Beaver ......... xDxDxDxDxD ........ LOL !!!!!!

As soon as I read your comment, I couldn't help myself from laughing [IMG].

I too am low on PF, pheromones. I have placed all my beaver stall out for the past week & harvesting them. I too have one saw mill. If no other requirement other than beaver is needed, then how are we to reach the global level. Not enough Power feeds to keep on breeding. Have to wait for the event requirements.

I think, on perusing the picture, that both the farmer & the global should finish a level to unlock the cloud items & cloud. So we can get the said rewards only by united efforts. If I am wrong, please correct me.

After so many event which almost emptied our barn, I suppose we don't even need a separate TOP 1000 event to burn our barns. There is only roofs to burn.

    @12ss12
Actually, you have many clues in the pictures. There might be 2 types of rewards (personal rewards and global rewards).

Personal rewards : you'll get a prize by completing each level of task in accordance with the amount requested of event requirements by yourself.

Global rewards : you'll be rewarded with the accumulated value of the contribution amount of everyone / all farmers, not only EN community but as well as entire foreign Forum communities.

Example : You, farmer A, and farmer B were participating in the event.
Your progress + farmer A's progress + farmer B's progress = global progress.

    Something like that.

Please correct me if I'm wrong here !!
