    Hi guys and gals. I haven't been on here as much recently and it will probably get even less as my RL is about to get a lot busier and much more interesting! I am so, so happy to share my news with you all as I have made some lovely friends on here and I know how much you all are animal lovers in RL also. So, the good news......
    In a couple of weeks time I will be starting Uni as a mature student doing a Foundation Degree in Animal Management and Behaviour. I am absolutely elated that I got in and am so excited that I am going to get the chance to study and work with over 100 species of animal at the University. This is something of a dream for me that I never thought would happen. It is scary as it's been a long time since I was in education but I am very hopeful for the future!

    Out of curiosity is a foundation degree that same as a bachelor's degree?

    @LDCrow , no it's one down from that. I can go on to do the third and final year to obtain the bachelor's degree if I so wish. I am presuming I will want to but for the moment I will be happy to just get started!

    Congratulation, fifi! It's never too late to learn, and I think you might just have a leg up, because as a mature student, you know enough to appreciate what you are learning more, I think. Dreams have no size limit, so go huge!:D

    Hi everyone, Just a quick update. First week of Uni was just inductions and learning where we will be having our different classes. First morning I was really nervous but I settled down fairly quickly even though I managed to spill my drink down me :oops: typical clumsy mexD. Thought I was going to be the oldest in my group but I wasn't :p. Made a few friends already, one of which I clicked with straight away on the first day :D. The proper work starts next week. Can't wait to get on with the practical stuff and be amongst the animals... (the furry kind too... xD xD xD)
