Breeding event September

Like pnp, the last global challenge I really remember was Winter Magic 2012. Globally, we needed 8 billion ep worth of crops and drops from the event to get the final prize, but we didn't make it. I remember it being very frustrating because the requirements were just too high. (They did finally give us the Hark the Angels Sing ep giver as a consolation.) Let's hope the requirements for this one will be more reasonable. It'd be nice if we could actually finish the darn dam together.

 

I'd like us to finish the global part of the quest but that's an awful lot of crops etc to give.

He has been gone long. May be basking in his riches (no offense meant, broke. Just for fun). Actually I feel he must have become tired running around all the farms and doing calculations. I would have gone mad. He will be back with bang for the Egypt event & this event. May be he is already increasing his resources when we are just gossiping.

No, you are not wrong. What I was asking was, whether the cloud row & cloud items are global rewards ? I think so, on seeing the pictures.

Do you think, other than breeding animals, we need other crops, animals, fruits, products etc. for the event ? Just breeding animals might be very expensive.

These are open questions and everyone can speculate.

 

I too was a receiver of the Hark.... consolation prize so I hope the requirements are a lot more reasonable giving us at least a chance of achieving the main goal.

Somehow...I think this might be larger than just receiving a cloud row. Unless, of course, it's a stupendous one! What would motivate our global community to use such large quantities out of our barns??? Maybe cloud row harvester???

 

Sadly, I do not have faith in my stock after so many barn raids right in a row. I am still replacing items I raided!
Now I feel like I am going to let my buds down, global? I hurt myself enough with not planning right, now I get to inflict my buds too! yeah for me.
I will try, I just don't have the faith in my barn to make a global thing. Global..... now global next it will be vote a bud to the pit of death.

 

I am sure your buds will understand, there will be lots of us that will not be doing this event for the same reason So don't beat yourself up

 

So is "GLOBAL" defined as your list of friends/neighbors???
Might explain all the sudden neighbor requests.

I only have 4 neighbors above me and 4 below me that could contribute.
No chance of only the 9 of us contributing 8 BILLION in EV.

Oh no, sorry for the confusion. The global event I mentioned required 8 billion EV in event crops and drops to be contributed by everyone, not just friends/neighbors.

 

What's with all the barn clearing events lately? I can't even imagine how this will work and I'm also low on PF and pheromones. Maybe it will all make sense to me once I see the mechanics and requirements. I'll just keep raising those beavers until then.

 

Everyone?? A global event that includes all farmers?? Does this include the insanely motivated folks who did the last challenge with astonishing speed? If so that would be awesome! ​

Enthusiasm to donate to the Global part will depend on what BP asks to donate and how wisely sizes the total amount. If it's event's specific stuff, and requirement is not insanely high, then chances of getting it done increase, simply because no one will able to do anything different with that stuff once the event is over. But, if they ask for beavers, timber logs, and/or anything else having value at any other moment, people will most probably donate the least they can to the Global part. Global challenges can only succeed if BP realistically sizes the total requirement and what stuff can be donated. Getting realistic includes assessing the number of active players in a non-delusional way (something that actually happened the last event of this kind I can vaguely recall) so that they don't oversize the global amount.
