Eager Beaver strategies

It appears we will fail because of the memories. Old timers remember fails before and are not convinced the same won't be repeated. Thus they are not donating. BUT, they are the one likely to have huge caches of Beavers and PF.

i think the cloud row is not worth the effort of donating so many long growing animals . plus using so much pf to breed them. so blame bp on always setting the bar so high , sometimes this game feels more like a job for the time one needs to spend at the pc to complete a quest !!!

 

it's pretty frustrating i must say as i myself donated over a million worth of beavers .... pfft Feels kinda like a kick in the tail knowing i put in so much effort only to be slapped down at the last post LOL ....

 

Do not be frustated igotfrogs. We can still make it. Only 60% of last global stage left. I have hopes still.

 

Though I now think it's difficult we'll get it, let me say at least that, in my opinion, the CR is really worth having.

The givers will yield, on a daily basis and perfectly punctual harvesting, even with 6 owls active, 65% less EPs OR B-EPs than if placed in the CR. This means, though they're pretty good by themselves, it's much better business to have them in the CR. I mean: it doesn't matter if you happen to have or not any room left for them -I'll actually take something off to make them fit somewhere in Shipwreck Is.-: the effect of having them in the CR is trebled, B-EP-wise, with the nice collateral effect of also trebling the potential EPs you would have gotten if used as such (but, you know, it's one way or the other if placed in parks, not both), at the same time.

I'll certainly miss that CR. Too bad.

But the last word is yet to be written.....

Twenty four hours to go, we're almost halfway there.
Reminds me: I once attempted to swim the mighty Zambezi River into Zambia. Halfway across I got tired and swam back...

 

Old players remember we had failed in the past but now there are a lot of new players who have donated very large amounts.
I believe we have better chances of completing the event than we had before. There are some very generous players(one example is igotfrogs and I am sure there are a lot of others as well) who hadn't participated in the last global events but now are helping a lot.

 

I'm not generous Arielh i just hate missing out on prizes lol ..... no matter what i could have to give lol ....

 

I wish we could see how much more we need to gain the cloud row as a prize. How often does the bar update? I hope we can still pull it off....Still have all my beavers out (classic II with VP and water is not too shabby of a time).

 

Yes PnP i wish if we clicked it it would give the outstanding amount needed ... Ive also noticed on mine its not showing the increase upped till i log out and back in ...

 

I have heard it updates every 10 minutes pnp. But to see it you'll have to refresh, or log in again as igotfrogs also mentioned

Hey guys and gals. Only been logging on briefly to harvest farm. Completed personal goals for event but am just starting to donate to the global part. Come on guys, we can do it!

What's the average people are putting in? I've just put 200,500 worth in for now. I know that'll be small talk to some but have sacrificed a lot beavers that I could've made some nice CC's with!

 

Got inspired by your post. Bought some & deposited to global requirement.
If someone has said do it. I wouldn't have done it. But your post made me do it. Will see the rise in the bar, if not sufficient. Will buy some more and donate. Don't worry - We are having the Cloud Row - No other way. Yes.

Now off to see whether I can do something in my baby farm.

 

(sigh) Wish I could make the big donations some of you have generously given - perhaps next global event I will be able to do more.

However, beaver prices jumped on my market today, so my latest production netted enough cc to purchase a few more lumberjacks and albinos for the cause!
