Septemberfest strategies!

Methinks that someone at BP tweaked the Premium Ball portion of the game.
Seems like the Dragons and the giggling Fair Maiden come more often and quicker in the game.
Just my opinion and observation

I just harvested four of my brand new Septemberfest prize trees, XXLs, and got TWO bobbles. A random, but awesome outcome. If you need bobbles and haven't invested 20 coins towards the mystery trees in the miscellaneous prize section, delay no longer and plant them immediately!

 

Why do the same names need a SOS thread every event? Sounds like they have bad strategy. Maybe they could look at SuzeeR thread, lots of great info.

 

Now, now Kaydd (where is your beautiful bird siggy by the way?) we all crawled before we could walk. And this is a very hard Event as you need to tweak your proportion of trees and crops just right to get the right amount of drops. I'm Lvl 94, with many years experience but I still find that I'm lacking one of the drops. Me, I'm not worried but I can understand why some are asking for help.

I think the term SOS was used for lack of an easier way to describe an exchange of drops, which is what I am doing. I posted to exchange drops because only a few of my neighbors have shown interest and because my results are unbalanced, I have too many blossoms. I understand my options to correct this, but I choose not to buy a large number of trees that will just gather dust in the barn in a few days. Of course I could have just substituted back my stalls and workshops to get the right balance, but the cloud row is so close to being mine, I don't want to give up just yet.

 

Thanks TC for creating an SOS thread - I was away and, because this event is totally different from the norm, I didn't know if an SOS thread would be called for. Also, I thought that, after reading as many of the posts as I could, an SOS thread would be overwhelmed (which might negate an SOS thread cos all our neighbours will need help too). I will just sneak over there now to see what's what!

I am sure it is as good if not better than mine (I just copy each one and adjust accordingly!).

I am using this event to build up mainly my middle crops as I usually don't do crops outside of events and with CAC going, I am maximising the benefits. My Rain Forests are full of trees and my Magical Glades have all my "special" trees and animals/workshops. If out of this I also gain some of those wonderful prizes, that's a bonus. But the chances that I will get anywhere near all of them are so low, I am just doing what I can and enjoying the ride!

 

My thoughts too. Certainly seems slightly quicker this morning, thank goodness.

 

I suggested an SOS as people are usually very good at helping each other out. As I said in my post, I know it's not the same mechanics for this game but some people were struggling to get the ratio correct and as for myself, I thought a few extra Blossoms coming my way would be very useful. If you don't need or want to use it, that's fine but please don't slate others for asking for a little help!

 

I ask for help as sometimes neighbors participate and sometimes do not.
I do not have the real money to spend on the game to buy loads of BB and purchase all XXL trees.
Wish I had an unlimited spending account or a BB tree
So yes when an event is HARD = low drops - I pittifully ask for assistance.
With farming long term crops and only 1 field worth of base trees, a few Xl, XXL and rare trees my drop rate of bobbles has only been enough for me to make 2 bags of premium balls - with the GENEROUS support of the forum community since I posted SOS and with my morning harvest I was able to make the third bag.
I have no problems with the blossoms but bobbles seem to mostly come from XXL trees and that of which I have few.
I will enjoy the day once I become a longer term farmer and I will not need to post to SOS
I do repay as good karma is put out into this world for which you are blessed

Ι am going to play this game for the first time. Should I only shoot the Cat-Witch and the Dragon?

 

If you have premium balls the best thing is to shoot the witch and dragon 12 times (then they won't come anymore) and then 3 of the sheep with a gold coin

If you have a regular ball you can shoot 8 witch/dragon, 3 sheep and 4 pigs.

 

I just played my first game, and it's a lot easier than you think. Count to 12 dragons or broom things and after that hit the gold queen 3 times = 54 coins + 3000 Ep,Bep or CC. Easy, breezy, peazy. Good luck

It was very easy indeed because there was no time limit but it was so boring to wait when the dragon and the witch will appear. How long do you usually play one premium game?

I've purchased the first cloud row with all of the items (which was my goal) and have 110 coins left. I'm hopeful that I can get another large item before the game ends, but I may spend coins on bonus miscellaneous items instead.

 

Well I still need 136 coins for CR. I need to make 3 more bags of balls. I'm not really worried about the bobbles (have 58, need 32 more) have 13 blossoms will need 167 more. And if my aim stays good Think I can do it? At first I figured I wouldn't be able to get the CR so I got the trees stables and PF. Got a red horse, rooster, yl chicken and OMG, another dove (makes trees were repeats of course. Still waiting on baha ones. Good luck to all!!

Got my cloud row so now just playing for coins to see if I can get some more prizes. I was doing really well for bobbles but they seem to have dried up for a bit, so I'll just keep going til event end to see how I go.

Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and best wishes for my family. Daddy has been released from the hospital but his symptoms are still concerning. Not sure why they let him go. Anyway...I am home again and trying to figure out what is the best way to go. For those that got a cloud row, which one did you get? I won't have enough coins to get everything I originally wanted to so I need to go back to the list and narrow it down. Haven't been shopping yet....too tired to think. Any suggestions? I have misplaced my paper I wrote my notes on so rather than start over with a foggy brain, I am hoping you smart players can point me in the right direction.
