    baw,

Rainforest is not needed at all for being able to produce enough event's crops, provided you use CAC or PJ on 1x1s or 1x2s. The requirement is really low for the 6 days the event will be active. So, 3 fields will more than suffice, even less than that. The 5 hs event's crop will take, just watered, 4 hs. If your schedule allows you, then you can easily fit 4/5 rounds per day. Just the Main field, 200 1x1s, will yield in 4 rounds 2400 event crops per day if you use CAC. Therefore, just that field could be easily enough to produce the whole event's crop requirement, leaving the rest of the fields for getting animals/other crops/fruit done.

However, Rainforest could be useful to help getting event's drops. If I were you, I'd aim first at getting all what's required for just the CR and its items done, then, in a 2nd stage, add level6's Diamond task -those mystery trees/stables can help you getting pens/trees you may have missed to get while you were absent- and only after that, if you have enough event's drops breath, trying to get the rest completed if you wish to.

And, yes, the amount for mill products Mir mentions is the total amount needed for milling the required items.

Aluntino, I knew some smarter mathematical minds than mine would know. ;) I hope you know, so many appreciate and follow your advice, with a grain of salt, of course. :) ;) 8)

So I may want to tear up my main field, and do regular farming on my meadow and Baha on this farm. I will grow event crops on Baha on my little farm, I always do worse on drops and getting enough crops on that farm, considering trophies are at the same level I just don't get it. o_O

Thank you Mir for setting up the requirements so nicely! :inlove: Thank you Aluntino for the advice on how to use the fields. :inlove:

I'm relieved as I'm going to have to grow pigs pretty much the whole time to try to finish the event. I bred them last BBD and foolishly didn't replenish my stocks. I've got everything else in the barn but I'm also raising a few extra chickens and goats to hopefully sell and make a bit of cash on the side. I like many others plan on growing MM crops up to the last so my drops are not going to be so great starting off.

    Good luck to everyone!

I've just half filled my glade with cherry trees. Had a total numpty moment - noticed the price of cherries going up and wondered why (clearly not very bright at the moment!), didn't buy any cheap and in my stock I have - 25 :wuerg:.

Last event we needed to plant trees as we needed the drops. I explained growing tree fruit for a future need and here is a need for it. We were given the opportunity with no penalty to produce tree fruit. Producing tree fruit is a little different from investing in tree fruit.

While preparing for the Harvest Hoedown a year ago I acquired tree fruit based upon a set percentage of exchange value and it did not matter what it was. Sure I took some and threw it into a black hole and went on. Well the whole acquisition process pays off. This event I went into it with 1.2 million cherry. Last year my rate allowed me to pay not anything more than 29 ccs per cherry. At the end of last event I was buying cherries cheap as farmers threw them away as useless. Now they are buying them back at a slightly different rate.

What looks like easy ccs required a waiting period. To simply break even, the sales price must be greater than the original cost plus the 10% commission charge. During this waiting period ones funds are sunk unless one wishes to take a loss on the purchase. If not prepared to hold it, one will stop oneself from growing.

The animal market is unbalanced and in chaos! It has been for sometime now. This imbalance includes rare animals too. Surely we see prices of chickens, rabbits, goats and pigs. Barns are not well stocked and don't have time to produce. The effects flow thru to breeding animals.

Good luck to everyone, this farm will not grow the junks ... thank goodness.

I will need two rounds of poppies, one of pig but on a whole I had done my barn proud.
I got my goals in MM, but will grow till the end, need more crops, more lots more! I no likie the short time in between, I was getting use to a couple of days in between, this fall right into another, rough is all I can day.

At Last I finally get to become a Mentor are several years of waiting so i can actually help Newbie Farms for Real....:D

Here is some useful pointers to tackle this Event.....

    • Those Who are short of Stars that is required to Unlock the Rainforest. The Whole Event gives 36 Stars !!!
    • The Requirement of Event Crops and Animals Cannot be grow on Bahamarama or Rainforest, for those who intents to grow these on your farm during this Event it make sense to grow Red Corral on these two Fields
    • The Flower Cloud Row gives you 10% More EP on Red Corral Combined with ZAB total of 70% EP this is most Effective when you have Main Field, Green Meadow and Glade full of Red Corral as it gives you twice as much EP than you would get with 5 Hour Crop
    • If you Want to Get Maximum EP from Growing Event Crops only use Main Field,Green Meadow and Glade, Combined with Flower Cloud Row and ZAB too...if using full field of 1x1...The Downside cannot Grow Chickens,Pigs,Goats,Cucumbers,Cabbage,Mushrooms and Red Poppies Either Grow Event requirement of these first or after you have grow all Red Corral Needed
    • Since Bahamarama and Rainforest can only be useful for this event to grow Red Corral but you get better EP from these only on Main Field,Glade and Green Meadow using Flower Cloud Row and ZAB ....But let me point out the usefulness of Tiki Timers as this reduce Vegetable Growing Time of 20% The Red Peppers gives the Best EP per Hour using ZAB, Raspberry Langos,CB and Chocolate Syrup. But Growing Animals Stables or Coloured Pens gives you Better EP on Tropical Lands This only Appeals to those who need Baha EP !!!
    • To Maximise Drops of Hiking Shoes and Polish Cloths on Tropical Lands you get better results growing Camels or Pandas or Any Coloured Pens....You get Churn more Harvests using Water, Cheese Balls and Valentine Pots and Animal Pen Cloud Rows (x2)...I find this Gives Better Drop Rate of Event Drops as oppose to growing Tress on the island
    • Milling Moutaineering Outfits...Takes 10 Mins to Mill with Super Mill Rune reduce this to 9 Mins if you have Amore Magic Stalk Row Mill Time only takes 8 Mins I would use the Island Mill to Mill These as you can Mill several Animal Feeds on Main Farm Wheel for much higher value Animal Feeds such as Kiwi Feed average 4000 to 5000 cc each feed !!
    • The Phoenix Wonder Stables it worth 180 BB it is well worth Getting as we get 12 of these....15 BB Per Wonder Stable...it would be lovely to get Kingfishers,Tortoise. Platypus and Kiwi to Help towards the latest farm society quests
    • Use this Opportunity to Make much CC as you can from this Event too as this is Bonus on top of your FAQ Rewards
Happy Farming and Have lots of fun too ;)

I'm a bit worried about the event since I still haven't been able to max out my trophies, nor do I have that 300 star trophy rune unlocked yet. So my strategy will be blunt force. I'll be blanketing all 5 of my fields with this event crop until I have enough drops to fulfill all the quests. Since I need the stars, it helps me quite a bit while still giving me the same opportunities to earn future stars.

Once I've completed all of the quests I will switch to producing crops and animals for the quests and selling them for as much as I can to repay what I purchased.

Good luck to everyone! May the drops be in your favor.

Completing the trophies has gotten more expensive. Anyone strategically playing the animal market is gathering the animals which will limit your choices and make it more expensive. Cuckoo is most probably your best animal because of volume available. There is a little time and no one would waste resources producing cuckoos at this time. The next best choice is cats but they are not available in large quantity if buying. The LL rune is a nice convenience and frees up 1x1s in each field to keep from moving the trophies.

Some tree fruit is good for submitting for the crop trophy. They have gotten expensive and should be purchased using a market to EV ratio. When considering the ratio, DO NOT ignore roses and they are better priced for this purpose in many cases. Wish you well!
