initial harvest with Main field MM crop
got 89 cloth, 82 shoes
OK, only starting. After got enough red coral, I will grow overnight crop.
Then I will know if I could catch up with daily target.

 

Back from work one hour ago.
Just now harvested my fields. Rain forest crops still to go.

By mistake planted the event crops in comfort fields instead of normal fields & it says 3.30 Mins or so for the harvest. It will be midnight here then.

So with the remaining one seed, I have to increase my seed production. Let's see. Every cloud has a silver lining. Therefore I will plant long time crops for drops. And start full scale event planting tomorrow evening. Can't do anything in the morning. Have to leave for work.

 

Well here's a laugh for you and not me.

I harvested the first round of coral, planted it again, played around with the builder and guess what?

Destroyed all my fields.

Now I plant the one seed I have. Junks planting!

Go on, have a laugh....... and I can't wait for the five seeds to replenish. I need to go!

New strategy is to sell all the harvester coupons and do not do the quests to get them.

 

Don't cry Mud_pie_man. Right now I am doing the event with 1 seed only. Other nine are locked in comfort fields which I can harvest only tomorrow morning. I have only 11 Supergrows too.

We genius & brilliant person often do the stupidest mistake. That's the way.

I will give you another reason to cry. Animal pens don't give any drops. New announcement. I too read the announcement only after I harvested & fed my animal pens. But will not be pulling them down. May be do it tomorrow evening. Can't waste all the animal feeds in bahama & farm.

Well there went my plan out the door Looks like I will be removing my animals from Magical Glade and Island and putting in crops and trees to get the drops Good luck all

 

First time ever, I listened to my sister and actually took her advice to plant long term crops to maximise drops due to my work schedule. So I ripped up all my animals which is fortuitous as I just got home to "that" announcement.

 

No wonder my drops were so low. I only had pens and trees out for the initial harvest!

 

Sorry to hear couple of you had mishaps with seeding of Red Corral Mud Pie Man and 12ss12

It is True That Teddybear our Mod Made Annoucement that we only get Drops of Hiking Shoes and Polish Cloths Just After about 2 Hours after the Event had Started Please be aware of this thanks for Spotting this 12ss12 !!!

I am confused has I had about One Half Fields of Animal Pens the Rest was Super Trees,Trees and Spooky Glowmolds from My Main Farm.

So Far got 140 Hiking Shoes and 135 Polish Cloths ......

Now we are unable to get Drops from Growing Chickens, Goats and Pigs....This is no fair to those who have short supply of these to be able to progress with this Event....

Can Grow these Needy Critters but not able to get the Drops to help Mill Mountaineering Outfits...only have to Grow Trees or Crops only. Thing is going to Hurt quiet alot of Farmers doing this Event.....I am completely Surprised by this from Bigpoint !!!

So it going to look like many of you will be going to be using Purpose of SOS Thread to make up for Short Fall of Drops of those who got Animal Pens to Harvest.....

 

Drops are being really good. I think they've adjusted them, this time, taking into account that many people will need to keep pens running.

So, keep a reasonable amount of pens out if you need so. I'm seeing decent drops coming out even from oats fields...

Thanks for the reply farmer_broke. Fortunately, I've already carved out my strategy to get reach the top. The first issue is not having the funds to obtain the donations, and the second issue is the constant bombardment of quests which require me to grow this/do that. In both cases I'm quite certain it will be done by the end of October.

I'll be growing and selling Crop Squares for this event as I have both EB and WL refinements. That should help me quite a bit.

 

Thanks for your support friends. I think I will be able to get the drops & the crops. We have such a long time.

I had 3 fields full of animals with some trees at the edge. The main farm was with MM crops. So didn't get as much drops as I expected. Still have rainforest to harvest. Have comfort fields in them. That's a comfort.

P.S. farmer_broke will be happy. Many will decide to buy animals instead of growing. I think broke mania has affected the event developers.

 

Drops have been good here; my rainforest (which I'm using to stock up Baha tree fruit) really delivered, which was partly due to a double harvest whilst my increased drop rate clouds were running. Glad I went for long term crops and put my animals in the depot after the new announcement about drops.

Drops are looking ok despite the last late MM crop harvest and only two fields of carnations - and having a few long pens still out. Island ginger drops were good as well. Totals after harvesting my overnights and my second round of 2x2 fields of coral are 133 cloths and 151 boots. So glad I will not need to grow animals, since there will be no drops from them.

 

I didn't notice this event will start today so I found it out now!
I can only log in once a day so what should I do? Use super fields? My main goal is to get the mermaid.

I just don't get it. I started the event with carnations on both farms, possibly more trees on baw815, but not sure. My trophies are at the same level on both farms, 28%. I know drops are random, but I always get fewer drops on SadieBAW, by the end of the event it's usually another day for drops on Sadie.
