Interesting, after this morning harvest, I had something to do this morning which
I cannot harvest my Red poppy on time. It stay on field over 2 hour.
The drops really not bad, Overall, uptill now I got:
229 cloth (3 from gift) 188 shoes (3 from magic tree & gift) So, It still on daily average
range. Even there is Uneven drops.. I don't worry, Maybe next time I harvest...
BP will adjust back to me. Who knows! xD

I am sorry, but you don't get that many crops from harvesting comfort fields...

Without CAC/PJ you get 12 per comfort field, i.e. 2484 per round, need 4.2 harvests.
With PJ you get 13 per comfort field, i.e 2691 per round, need 3.9 harvests.
With CAC you get 14 per comfort field, i.e. 2898 per round, need 3.6 harvests.

    Arielh,

If I were only able to log in once a day, I'd go for the CFs option, without any doubts.

As Mir mentions, you'll need around 4 harvests using PJ (CAC would be an unjustifiable waste), with which you get a 13 net seeds gain per CF. But you still have more than 5 full days, so, I wouldn't carpet everything with CFs. Reduce the total CFs to be used by 20% and put trees in that freed-up room -apart from any fringes-. Event's drops are abundant -extremely good: I've already gotten around 40% of total requirement in less than 24 hs- but you'll be better off if you guarantee for yourself some drop boosting (CFs will yield comparatively low drops: as a rule of thumb, they yield as many drops as they would if they were plain 2x2s; trees, being 1x1s by definition, will then help you balance the loss you'll have by using CFs).

Use 20hs plain or 18hs XL trees if you are really going to log in only once a day. But, if you could be able to log in more than once some of the days, then those days use manure on those CFs (watered, each CF will take 16 hs; watered and manured, maturation time is cut to 14:24) and some XXLs.

Another way of helping you boost your drops is to use SG on some of those CFs for those days you may be able to log in at least 3 times in a day, if that's possible for you along the event.

@-Mir Thank you for pointing out. Maths do not come to me easily. I found where I went wrong. I by mistake took the seed numbers (621) to be the field numbers (207) and wrongly calculated it. So deleted the wrong post.:)

How do you always stay so correct ? I admire this quality of yours.:)

    Dear friends!
Sorry if I my previous wrong calculations have mislead you. I have deleted the wrong post.

Don't worry 12ss12, it is easy to make a mistake, and the other calculation with the 1x1 fields was fine :) no need to delete that :)

Rest assured, there are lots of things I don't do well, math just isn't one of them...

Alright I won't worry ;) :p. Thanks for you guidance :) I am not the giving up type. Will keep on trying until I learn it.
Of course, you & several others are there, as Mentors, in the Forum. You all can keep a watch on me/us. Who said mentors are needed only for the farm.

My internet connection was not stable in the afternoon, so I couldn't take time & correct it. I didn't want the wrong post to stay online. So deleted it. Moreover it didn't strike my mind that I could leave out that part and delete the other. Any way I passed. My marks 50/100. :pxD

Did 2 harvests of 1x1 fields.

12ss12....You can still complete this Event...Although you not had great start to this event as it is Bigpoint Fault to change FAQ at after Event had started no nice thing to do...

I have finish Growing all Red Corral, Mushrooms,Cabbage and Cucumbers for this Event. I am almost Finish Making Montaineering Outfits in my Mills. It Helps to use both Mills. The Rainforest Certainly helped alot to grow all 11130 Red Correl using CAC.

I cant believe we are able to Trade the Givers for this Event at Barter and Gift Event. In couple of hours all Red Poppies can be donated to this Event. This Helps lots of i can Focus on Barter and Gift Event it has be Extended by Extra Day which is good News

I Think I will Plant my Longest Crops in All Fields I must remember to use Carnation Refinements

Arielh Just do what you can and when you can ;)

I am taking it slow with the event, only growing crops on two fields, and I have about one field with animals. For event start I only had a field of mushrooms and one with peanuts, as I didn't expect to have any problems with drops. With no drops from stables, drops from trees and crops are exceptionally good, as Aluntino already said. I got over 200 of each during the first 24 hours, so no need to remove the stalls :)

I'll finish level 6 this evening and put the wonder trees and stables out overnight and hope for something good for G&T tomorrow :p

Is it just me or are the moccasins coming only/primarily from trees and the cloth from crops? I had good amounts of each, but when I removed my trees, suddenly got far fewer moccasins.

Drops are being so outstandingly good that I've already gotten the CR and all its givers. Next step, completing level6 for the same reason Mir has just mentioned.

I have the Rainforest 99% dedicated to trees (a mix of high-ish end plain, XLs and XXLs), and the Magical Glade filled 100% with them (XXLs plus 5 XXL and 5 XL jumbos). In almost all harvests from those two fields, I noticed they yielded the exact same amount of the two kinds of event's drops. So, I gather from this that trees are not more inclined to yielding one event's drop over the other one.

Woody - Using the same crop/tree mix I noticed one harvest of all fields had drops of about 35 more hiking shoes - the next harvest swung the other way with drops about 30-35 more polish cloth. At least the drops are balancing out for me!:)

Very pleased with the total number of drops I'm getting this event, as others have noted. Have switched to only tropical crops/trees on the island as the event crops are two-thirds complete.
I also am planning to complete Level 6 this evening - eager to put out the trees and stables! Hope we all get something nice!:)

I am getting a lot more polish cloths than hiking shoes. I'm doing basically the same thing as everyone else, but I'm definitely, consistently getting more polish cloths than hiking shoes.

I am almost done with the event except waiting on the drops. I am growing long crops to get them.
It helps when the barn has most of the stuff the event asks for.

I'm locked out of my AniE farm so all my event crops are currently being lost. :( And I'm a relatively new farmer and it was the first event I had a chance of finishing. Sadness.
    Bigpoint database problems.

I have finished the crops on both farms and am enjoying building up some of my other crops while I wait for the drops. Chevrefeuille has done all the silvers and all of level 6. Should have been the same on this farm but I mistimed my milling and was one short for even the silver lol! I didn't want to stop 100 mountaineering outfits to put it right so this farm will have to wait till tomorrow. Bang goes my plan of getting all the secret/wonder stuff done so I don't have to rearrange my farm to put all my trees/animals in uniform groups (yeah, I know, FOCD!). :music:

I think I will be able to finish all the milling tomorrow, if I've calculated correctly (which is never a given) I am about halfway through for both drops, not bad after two days. :inlove:

I don't see any requests in the SOS thread so I am hoping everybody is getting enough of the shoes and cloths. Fingers crossed.;)
