Farm-ergarten Breeding Event

I'm guessing that we won't have BBD until Friday. Can anyone remember when it was announced last time (the immediate BBD)?

 

Silly question, but it looks like it is from the FAQ, but on the last one, was the items only to be able to be milled on the main land?

In addition, you must still produce four products in your farm mill and then deliver in the event quest in the Farm Hall. You can use this both the Farm-, as well as the Bahamarama mill.

I'm going to mill the feeds immediately but won't be breeding until the Baby Boom event.

Thanks 12ss12. Since I wasn't around for that one I wanted to know. Lately, they have been allowing us to use both mills so was wondering.

I am alright, Julie. Glad you have recovered too. Take care of yourself too. But send me your healing mojo. Both my my mother and my brother are suffering from viral fever for nearly 12 to 15 days. I can use it for them. . Both are recovering now. No problem. But my mother is still weak. I didn't go to work for more than a week. Went yesterday & did some essential work & came back. May be from Monday I think I will be able to return back to work. That's why I am happy this is a breeding event. Only little work. Last event was also somewhat easy. I try to relax now & then by logging into Farmerama( when both my mother & brother sleep). See the uses of Farmerama !!

Starts: Wednesday, 9th of September at 14:00 CEST
Ends: Thursday, 10th of September at 14:00 CEST

Starts: Saturday, 12th of September at 10:00 CEST
Ends: Sunday, 13th of September at 22:00 CEST

 

Prize look good..... So, put all 4 baby food on mill schedule.
baha mill start milling now, main farm mill will mill 1 item after finished the present PF milling.
But like most of farmers. will start breed when BBD start. I think I will breed on sat.
As Sunday is my old mom's birthday. Whole family come together celebrate.We will stay at my
sister' house & then Eat birthday cake,then Dining outside.
I will not have time to login game until back home.

 

I have the 3 longest milled products lined up now on Baha, and pear farina on main mill. I have lined up PF for the next few days.
Like most people I won't breed until BBD is here. Hopefully we will get a short BBD before the main one as we did last time.

Happily my previous feed milling ended on schedule! Like others I have all baby foods milling currently while waiting for BB.

I would like to encourage all new players to try to get this cloud row even tho you may not have the cloud stalk.

I feel I must apologize. I did indeed get my cloud rows mixed up. ( Note to self --poor old grannys should not try to give advice when they have over energetic 3 year olds flying helicopters in their house) Am wondering what else did I get confused today? When I realized it I came back to set it right but thankfully someone had already caught it. Thank you for understanding and am sorry for causing confusion.

 

Like most, I had decided to wait for BBD to breed for this event.....but thought I'd give it a try first.....Sooo glad I did! I got just what was needed for the Event, with some skips from regular to motor duck or Blackie, and only a few Baldies. In other words, it allows for finishing the breeding part much sooner, and I only need a few motor ducks to be finished with this part.
Milling all this baby feed is what is so time consuming....but with both mills going......

EDIT: Finished, and selling excess animals for the rest of the event. This was a good event for me - NO CROPS!! Like others I've read, I really do not like destroying my farm every time a crop event comes along....so I've really enjoyed this one!!

 

Am I missing something? This Cloud Row only gives a marginal amount of EP and BEP. There's no bonus to crops.

I would encourage newer players to focus on completing all of tasks 2 and 6 for the Wonder Trees and Wonder Stables first. Then if there is enough time and resources to go back through and finish tasks 3, 4 and 5. This is my plan.

 

Hi Decree....First of all when you do any event quest we all start with Level 1 Silver then we can skip to level 2 Silver then Level 3 Silver etc....you cannot skip Level 3,4,5 to get to Level 6.

Sadly there is any shorter or quicker way to Get Wonder Trees,Wonder Stables or EP Givers and Cloud Row. I would not advise to make any short cuts to skip certain levels of Farm-ergarten Quest.

As you need to do Level 3 Gold,Diamond, Level 4 Silver and Gold, Level 5 Gold and Diamond to Get Back 95 Power Feeds towards the 236 Power Feeds that is needed to get All of Baby Ducks and Lambs from This Event. Therefore all of the Steps needed to be Completed.

Blessedlady has good intentions but please ignore Her Posting is seem she has posted in the wrong Thread as it is the Scarecrow Cloud Row that gives you +1 on All Vegetable Crops for 24 Hours....combined used with PJ gives +2...using CAC gives +3 Which is not relevant to this Event...!!!

I would wait until Baby Boom Starts before you do any breeding as you get more value for your money using Power Feeds....There is a Cloud Row that Reduces Breeding by 20%.......There is Quick Breeder Rune Reduce Breeding Time by 1 Hour from six Hours....Not to mention to remember to Eat Pink Jelly before you fill those Breeding Motels

I have already started Milling The Products needed for this Event should at least two days or so here a Tip I would use Brownies to Get all of the Needed Blackies as you can get them cheap enough in the markets...But for Mallard are pricey to buy so i would Breed Normal Ducks....After All Statistically Proven that we get best skips from Breeding from Base Animals Anyway than using Breeding Animals...

It Seem that The Price of Pheromones has increased in Price now averaging about 500 CC each which helps reduce Breeding Time but I would use them Sensibly...but you can get your Buddies and Neighbours to send you Pheromones.......You Might get a lucky surprise someone will send you a Baby Duck or Baby Lamb as a Gift this save you 2 Power Feeds Each...I would keep an eye on your gift list so you are not using More Power Feeds than you need to use ok

2/4 baby food milled. Other 2 are being milled. I have put out my breeding pens with sheep and ducks & without pheromones. Also 5 pandas, 1 camel, 1 monkey breeding is ongoing. I will harvest them as soon as BBD starts. What a frugal person I have become. Feeling pleased with myself. I am also happy because both my mother and my brother today woke up some what energetic and had their food by themselves.

@Mooboy Thanks for reminding Pink Jelly. I completely forgot. Was just thinking of the cloudrow & reminding myself that I should not harvest it before the event starts. With great restraint, I have not harvested it from yesterday. So that I could harvest it as soon as the event starts. Because I always do the mistake of harvesting it at the wrong time - making it useless for BBD

 

I'm like everyone else. I've got most of the milling already done and I started breeding, just to see. Like farmlilly3 I have gotten several skips! I've got all the wonder trees out and I will let you know when they hatch what they are. Unfortunately Saturday is American college football day, which I love, so it's really lousy timing for BBD for me. Oh well. Good luck everyone and I hope everyone's health improves soon. It must be farmerama contagious because I've got pneumonia. I'll keep you updated on what grows out of everything.

UPDATE: My first trees just hatched. I got: 1 XL Apricot tree, 1 XXL Apricot tree, 1 Kowhai tree, and an XL Fullmoon maple.
