I have the milling all done, and am finishing on the breeding, I have to travel tomorrow and will be away for an indefinite amount of time. I am hoping to have internet but cannot be sure, so I would like to finish the event before I leave.
If I have the internet, I will use the BBD to breed some stuff. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck to everyone participating in the event. And hoping all of you have great skips.

Thanks Illy for the numbers, they really helped.

Thank you all for the kind words. I too would like to add my best wishes to all the other farmerama players who are ill, or have family members who are not doing well. I wish you all a speedy and complete recovery. :inlove: Playing farmerama and associating with the wonderful people here is definitely good medicine and can provide a very welcome distraction when RL is not going well. :)

My other batch of wonder trees just hatched. They are: 2 XXL Apricot trees, XXL Pear tree, XXL Maple tree, Kowhai tree, XL Fullmoon maple tree, XL Peach tree and an XXL Stone pine tree. :D:music: I am very happy with them and wish you all good luck with yours. Best wishes and good luck to everyone. :inlove::p

I would like to put in my two-pennies worth into the discussion raised by Mooboy , Willow and Decree about which is the better way to achieve breeding. IMHO it comes down to a choice whether to use cc's or powerfeed.
PF costs real money, apart from the little amount we can get from rewards or the mainfarm mill.
I have spent a truckload or real money on the permanent breeding quests and am trying a new way on Busy Beaver.
My estimates are for each permanent breeding quest (e.g. the Chosen Panda or Color Chameleons) is that it takes around 3200 animals and USD$133.00 to do each quest! And this is 99.9% done during Baby Booms. I had no skips of any note doing Camel-ot and this added an extra 25% to these totals. Yes, it is scary!!
So if you have a farm generating good amounts of cc, then my advice is to copy the new generation of Willow and Decree, and use the playmoney cc's rather than REAL MONEY !!!!!

Note: as many have said, in Farm-ergarten, breeding using powerfeed is required to get those cutey babies...

Did someone say you get better skips from a Level 0 animal?
I've never seen such abysmal results as my best skip was to a Curly.
Looks like I will do the minimal this BBD and do just enough for the event.

    I've finished! :D

I did get a Snuggles and a Punkoo from basic animals. Will put out the stables and trees later.

The farm will very reluctantly work the event. Breeding the lowest level animals possible are being used to assure the needed results. The results of trees and animal pens thus far are not encouraging. But there is a train one day to get rid of them.

The CR will be acquired as a consequence as the farm does not chase or buy ep. I view this event as buying ep. The farm does buy ep products to resell and there is some cc value which may be assigned to ep and this is largely based upon ones market as to price. The price of the ep generated from the CR will decrease over time. If I were buying ep to use, and one harvests the CR one time each day for a year, then one would receive the equivalent of 7.1 million ccs worth of ep. Useless to this farm though.

The farm does quests and events based upon a cc equivalent price it would wind up paying for the stars. As quests are done in a cc order this event does exceed the cc price it is willing to complete a quest for the rewards. But the price is not by far. Given the farm holds a minimum reserve of stars and the event provides 36 stars in total, then the additional stars provide the sole motivation.

The farm is taking profits primarily from its investment in ducks, limiting sheep sales, brownies, duck feed, carrots, and mulberry. The apple market is being polluted with low quantity and cheap offers to drive the price down while holding stock and limiting profits for apple producers and investors at this time. With 2.1 million apples, there is more profit in apples to come as tree fruit continues to adjust.

I wish you all well with your objectives.

I finished early as I only needed to breed to get the babies. I've not put out my stables and trees yet but I will for the overnight. I only got 1 big skip of a sailor duck, not that impressive. I'm going to try to fit in some additional breeding tomorrow but RL is keeping me very busy at the moment.

On a quick scan I've noticed a few people with health issues so my best wishes to all and I hope you and your loved ones feel better soon. :)
