A regretful farewell

I sit here trying to formulate what I want to say, but I really don't know how to start, so I guess I'll just start anyway. Effective immediately, I will be leaving the farm. I always figured I would need to sooner or later, I just didn't think it would be this soon, or this brusque. I want to tell you all how much you've meant to me, how much I've enjoyed our time together, and how much you will be missed. You were friends to me when I desperately needed them, and it saddens me greatly to leave, but I need to. It's unlikely I will return. Broke, don't ever stop being you. You've filled the game and the forum with humor and fun, and taught me more than you know. I hope I will always be your butterfly. Pnp, I treasure the friendship we've developed, and will miss our IGMs, tho I'm ashamed to say I haven't been very good at keeping up with them lately. I will pray for you and your family, and am ever so grateful for your kindness and loving heart. Tlc, joyce, thank you for the laughs and companionship in chat, tho it's been so long since we've all been together there. I will cherish the memories, especially when I'm recreating. And teddy, sweet, lovely teddy. Thank you for the chat parties, for the great music (you're quite the DJ, and an awesome dancer, lol), and your wonderful presence here in the forum. I will always remember you as our guardian teddy bear. May you never run out of chocolate. Thank you everyone who has allowed me to share in your farm and your life, may you be continue to cultivate your farm friendships, continue to laugh, love, and have fun here in this home away from home, and may you always remember that, even if you didn't know it, you were exactly what someone needed when they needed it. Spots, that sure is sad news to wake up to on a Sunday morning.

We all have to do what fits our lives and all I can hope for is that you find the time to come back to us soon again!

Dear Spots - So sorry you need to leave, but we all understand RL demands. I've only know you a short time and wish it could have been longer.

Spots- what a beautiful, sad note. I'm so sorry to see you go...this "home away from home" won't be the same without you. I have always enjoyed reading your posts, and had a wonderful time exchanging emails with you several months ago. I hope that all is well in your life, and that this sudden departure means that you're off on some grand adventure. Please know that, no matter where life takes you, you will be missed here.

spots - Oh no...please don't leave!!!! You will be greatly missed!!!! You are one of our golden oldies(like me & others), one with great humor and kindness! Please say that you are just taking a break...and will return every once in a while to say hello.
I wish you well....and hope to see you drop in from time to time.

 

@spotsbox I am very sorry to see you go. But I can understand. My best wishes for you real life endeavour. Have a successful, happy & peaceful life. Be well & do good work. Saying goodbye to you is somewhat saddening for me. Its as if someone is leaving from the family.

spots - my dear sweet friend, I will be sorry to see you go. I have enjoyed our friendship too and will miss you very much. My eyes may be full of tears right now but my heart continues to carry grateful appreciation for you and lots of love and prayers as you go. Thank you for telling us that you need to leave and not just disappear. It does feel like we are losing a big part of the Farmerama family. I'm sure it was not an easy decision to come to but know we all wish you well as you journey on. Big hugs to you.

Oh Spots.....You have been such a mainstay and pillar to this forum and us all....it seems impossible that you must leave us...as if one of the main pillars of a building is gone, and the building is missing a main support. It will not be as strong. You will be sorely missed.
I join with everyone else to tell you how very much I've enjoyed your lovely - and sometimes hysterically funny - but always interesting posts, and looked forward to finding a gem or two waiting to be discovered inside them. Thank you so much for the richness you have added to this forum and all of us.
Whatever reason RL life takes you from us, I hope you will be well and truly blessed by all the caring and good wishes that go with you....and that every now and then you may have an opportunity to stop by.

I have not been on the forum for awhile. I am very sad to come back on this morning to hear that you are leaving us. You will be missed. I totally understand what you mean about this game filling a void in our lives when we desperately need something positive and fun to fill the vacuum of despair in our lives. I also understand that RL changes. I am hoping that the changes in your life that are taking you away from us are all GOOD. I hope that your RL is no full of positivity, cheerfulness and especially happiness. I too like Broke said. I hope that your permanent exit is temporary and that you will be able to come back and visit from time to time. I hope you the very best in life!

Sadness does not begin to tell you my friend what I felt when I read your post. I know real life takes us in all types of directions but hopefully you will be able to return one day. I will miss our chats and our chat parties. I will remember all of our recreating jokes and Brokes' wild 1st wedding when Teddy stole the cake! LOL Love you! Your spirit and presence will be missed. I sent you a IGM if you every check back into your farm. My Blessing and may God watch over you and your family.
