I agree the facts are confusing. When it says drops from fields, does this mean only crops produce flags? I would rather not be carnation central if that can be avoided, taking down all my lovely trees and stalls is painful. I am suspicious of so many prizes for doing all 16 just once - that seems way too easy.

I would point out to those who are thinking about not participating, that the prizes for just single steps are excessive. So for example 100 acorns yields 204,000 cc. This is a wonderful event for new farmers. Lots of easily obtainable prizes, and lots of money to be made growing and selling, even if the big prizes are out of reach!

20 White Cows are a lot but I have what I need on this farm. My little farm is stuck breeding them
The rewards are really nice though so I'm in it all the way Looks like fun!!

Herewith a Table with the Lanterns I am able to open instantly; shaded Olive Green. As you can see there isn't a pattern as yet.
I bought 20 White Cows for close to 3,200,000 CC.

 

Excellent point Aetheria, there are some great lantern prizes even if one won't/can't complete the whole event. I agree that except the white cows, the other requirements are moderate. So naturally the white cows are needed to complete most of the patterns.

If you fill every square except the one with white cows you'll make 3 patterns and win:

• 2 XXL toolboxes
• 5 party tickets
• Firefly collector
• 3 stars
• Tilia tree
• 858,000 EP
• 366,000 BEP
• 1,908,000 CC

 

I never did cow breeding. So I don't even have one white cow or any other breeding cow for that matter. Waiting for the market to be flooded with white cows. I am sure it will in few days.

For those who haven't reached the level to unlock rosemary crop, may be they can level up using the crafting products. May be they can request them in SOS thread. You can also do some FSQ to gain EPS. Also you get lots of EPs doing this quest. You might level up during the Event by doing it. Just a suggestion to try doing this event.

 

And you could use some or all of the 1.9M cc's to put towards getting the items you are missing to get some of the other prizes too.

 

I bought 2 white cows & then became broke. Put some offers in the market to make CCs for white cows.

Yes, this is what I was wondering about. In most cases, we only need to do two patterns and then we have completed the whole board. So either we automatically get all the rewards after doing only two patterns, or we only get the two special rewards that we selected (plus the #10 presumably). But that wouldn't make sense because we need all the items for the cloud row. So that means we only choose to do two patterns, right?

 

I think it may be less confusing if you think about it another way. You don't choose which patterns to do, but rather which lanterns to light. When you have lit all lanterns required for a specific pattern, you get the special rewards for that pattern. The lanterns you have already lit will still be shining and you can light some more until you unlock a new pattern. When you have lit all 16 lanterns you will also have gotten all possible rewards

 

Yes, some wealthy farmer bought one from me at just under that highest price. (My market isn't selling at max for that much yet.) Brown cows are also selling quickly. I've made 2m CCs today selling off my extras.

 

Is today BBD!!! I just bred 2 regular cows and got 1 brown cow and 1 white cow.

I guess not. My next breeding produced just 1 brown cow. Sorry.

That's great, have you unlocked the baby boom rune on the tree of wisdom? Then you have a chance of an extra breeding animal (or four regulars)

I also hate to give up Breeding animals for Events but this time around 20 White Cows will give you a tremendous bounty!

Bhodho I love your Template you devised that is Perfectly Clear to show us Requirement for Each Lantern

it is very harsh about needing 20 White Cows for this Event...But it helps to try complete some quest that gives you Power Feeds, Use some Basic Cows to do some Breeding and Aim to get any outstanding white cows you need for this Event that you are short on...Fingers cross that you get some lucky skips of White Cows....You will be getting some Brown Cows i would sell all of the surplus Brown Cows in the Markets as they are selling for 60,000 Each now

I would use your CC Proceeds Made from Selling Brown Cows, You can Sell Surplus Peppermints and Rosemary while the Prices are high if you have any to spare ...I would suggest that you Brave the Markets snap up any white cows you can but have to be quick until you got enough of them

12ss12 it is a Bummer when we not got Enough White Cows...I had only 5 White Cows so i did little Breeding got few more white cows....i managed to buy the Rest from The Markets. Now I am getting my CC Spends on them.... I hope you many other farmers do managed to get those Needy White Cows Good Luck and Fingers cross to all of you.

Phew made me sweat it out getting those White Cows using very little Power Feeds ...Need to Try to Snap up these White Cows as cheap as you can otherwise they are going to keep climbing in Price as they will be highly sought after ok

The white cows are a problem as I only have half the requirements, but my biggest trouble is being out of town from Thursday to Sunday, which will make getting drops and scarves an issue . I will just do what I can and hope for the best!

 

Ι am still confused with the event but I found out that I already have 18 white cows
I want to buy the other 2 but I only find offers with 5 of them and they are really expensive.
I all the rewards even though I don't know what they give but they are so beautiful

 

I feel really fortunate that my excessive breeding habits during BBD's are paying off. I only need 2 white cows to have the 20 and have 50 brown cows to use and sell. I'm not so happy for everyone else that will have to struggle to get the cows.

It was a little confusing trying to read the FAQ for this one so thanks to all that have taken the time to lay it out and explain it. I'm still a bit shaky on the spawning scarf but that maybe something that will become clear once the event starts.
