Well I had no brown or white cows at all so I did have to do some breeding. Wasn't as bad as I expected as I did manage to get 5 skips from regular to white cows so that saved me a little power feed.

I don't have much free time right now but I will try to check in to collect those scarves. I should be able to get all the glowberries using 3 fields, right? Thankfully I have everything else so no other thinking is required now beyond crop growing and drops. I don't have the brain cells to spare.

 

Hello Mooboy! I just knew you wee somewhere around those breeding animals, I knew it. I was scared for the first time and nearly broke too. I bought white cows and played them like lettuce. Bought at 225k and sold them at 341k for some nice quick ccs $$$$$$ . Brown cows sold well too at slightly over 70k each.

I see LDCrow did some breeding and for sure is not the only one. I am selling too many cows in lots of 28, 40 and 60. Somebody is definitely doing some breeding.

As you say Mooboy, this is a good time to do a little cow breeding.

Hard to believe crop levels are as low as they are too. I don't have enough peppermint orr rosemary to make it through the entire event.

Animal market is still out of balance.

I can sell them in lots of 100 at 1997 now. Holding onto 20,000 and will take 2275 for all right now and let someone else bother with them. (Slowing picking up cats which have the same EV.) The animal trophy is getting more and more expensive for those who have not completed it. I just don't want to get bit fooling with these dogs.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the event. I'll do bits and pieces but nothing much.

Played a few more white cows like lettuce while writing. Good $$$$$$$$ .

 

Put out a field for breeding over night, none skips whatsoever, and still at 8 white cows only. Hoped to get that Armadillo-stable , but guess I'll just donate what I can from the start and let the event be event. Still, enjoy everyone and have a good time

 

Boy oh boy, this is another brain buster! Thank you to Mir and all those who have done all the hard work for us farmers. Makes it a little less daunting ... but my two farms are all ready to go. Only missing a bit of Rosemary (currently being grown on both farms) and of course the White Cows (this farm has one, the other farm has six). Loving those prizes! So I am going for it all.

I've just seen that I can complete the white cow lantern for 133BB. That doesn't seem too bad to me. Maybe its cheaper than breeding them, what do others think?

 

133 BB is a good deal, white cows are going for 400K cc in my market right now. I collected only 103 flags from five fields of mostly carnations, roses and ginger. I saw 4 scarfs at the farm, but when I clicked on one, all the rest disappeared. Anyone having better luck?

 

Yes, I had better luck, collected 6 scarves right at the start of the event. But several players in the German forum are reporting scarves disappearing, so there seems to be an issue...

 

Not too bad of a start here. Still worried about getting enough white cows before this is over. I don't want to buy them.

 

I still not determined to buy or breed the white cow.
I only got 2 whit cow on hand. Buying them mean I need to use millions of CC,
will the price got down when game start or it will rise even more rocket,

Event start & had initial harvest, got 106 flat, high rate or low rate? let see
end of day 1 total I got.

 

Just now harvested my fields. Got 158 Flags & 5 scarves. Good start. But broke once again as I bought 3 white cows. Off to market to see what I can do.

 

I got 138 flags and 8 scarfs(2 from neighbours)

 

Have everything I need except crops and drops Got 132 flags and collected 12 scarfs so far. Not tearing all my fields up as I think I can get the crops on what I have opened. Good luck everyone

 

Well, got a nice start with my refined carnation comfort fields and ginger - 174 flags. Collected 8 scarves, plus one gifted. Have started breeding to make up the cows needed, as I have enough browns on hand.

As others have said, if you haven't the ability to complete the event do what you can! I will hope to complete, but have a very short time frame this go around. Nevertheless, I will happily carry off some prizes!

I was late to start playing the event, so far I have collect only 2 scarfs but 185 flags as drops

 

I have finished breeding my cows, and have everything except the event crops, drop items and the mill items.

I think I should be able to complete this event. Have had a bad start with the flags, as I had the cows out. But, now I can start planting the long term crops, so should be caught up with the drops in a day or so.

 

No white cows or peppermint in my market. Rosemary is almost 500CC. I am growing peppermint while waiting for my glowberry to mature. I will most likely fill up Baha first for that reason (after the main field). Thankfully, I already have enough rosemary.

 

Market for white cows 320k on up but there are 62 offers. Some breeding has taken place. The market for cows here is over 2700 and turkey has reached 2000. Sales of regular cows has slowed but I'll herd another 5000 to market and may now start thinking about those turkey running off a bit. Nooooooo, I'm not playing white cows like lettuce for now.

I finished the first part of what I intend to do by donating 10 acorns . Stressful!

No way growing a single "junks." Now peppermint and rosemary have me thinking about doing a might bit of growing. But not much!

 

Firefly Event has Started......So Far got 225 Firefly Flags and 11 Firefly scarfs 4 of them From Gifts

I cannot Believe that The Price of Brown Cows and White Cows have gone insane Sold Brown Cows at 115,000 Each..... Sold White Cows at 550,000 Each

Though I dipped into my reserves of Power Feed that i was saving up for Dog Breeding The Reason I can turn 4 Normal Cows into a Brown Cow or White Cow to Value in Excess of 100,000 CC You Cannot get a Better Breeding Value as good as this as I will keep an Eye on the Markets weather it remains high or when it starts to fall in Price..!!!

I am making a Fortune selling Rosemary for 400 CC per Crop, selling Peppermint at 300 per Crop.....So My Hoarding is Payoff Again at last....You can buy Rosemary and Peppermint from the Store at 62 cc and 78 cc Daily but only 100 of Each Which is much cheaper than the Markets. I am Surprise why so many farmers are buying these Crops as it does not really take long to grow these crops in our farms using CAC grow enough of these to donate towards this Event

My Strategy to Build up Glowberry's on the Island and RainForest using 2x2 Fields Building up Event Crops so on my Third Harvest should have a enough to cover all 1x1 Fields any surplus Glowberry's Mill Be Milled to Make Firefly Packs but need to build up some stock of Firefly Scarfs....

I am Growing Rosemary in the other three Fields since crops prices currently sky high....Now I can go on spree to buying Dog Kennel and Yellow Dog Kennels ready for Dog Breeding...

The Rosemary Crops does not have any Refinements but Peppermints does have refinements i am sticking to growing Rosemary....I do not bother to grow Tropical Crops at all they may give good Baha EP.... But Does not make Good CC in the Markets

I am one of those that opted to make much CC as Possible....Oppose to trying to Get Maximum EP on Island and Main Farm

I feel sorry for those who have little CC just wish i could Gift 200,000 CC to those who have little CC can only suggest to make any CC in Markets whenever you can every little effort Helps....

 

Well, think I am off to a good start - have completed all lanterns not needing any of the special event stuff. Got enough to fill four fields overnight so crops are looking good to finish by Friday. I have 178 Flags and 12 Scarves on this farm and Chevrefeuille is much the same except has 122 Flags and 11 Scarves.

Don't forget that you can get 100 Rosemary and 100 Peppermint in the Store for less than the market prices!
