Absolutely agree!! They are such a pretty plant and it's been such a long time since we've had a new plant.

First, I absolutely love the graphics both on the main page and within the quest. I appreciate that BP spends so much effort to make the graphics beautiful for the special events.

For me, I don't worry about "finishing" events, but try to get the best prizes I can out of each one. As a more casual player, I like to focus on the happier aspects of quests.(But I do recognize that others are more anxious to complete entire events, so my good wishes are with you all)

I like that the prizes include such large amounts of CC's. As an average player, I rarely have anything close to 100,000 in CC, so this is a boon to me in helping me purchase items I can not yet produce in workshops.

I also like that more "common" items such as eggs, mulberry, peppermint, etc are used to gain prizes. 2000 peppermint is not that high a number so I can complete that item in only a day or so.

I also like the ability to grow and mill in both the regular fields and Baha. I remember the days when it was only one area for milling, and I welcome the change.

I won't be able to gain the 20 white cows for the same reasons the other players mentioned, but I can appreciate that BP has operating costs the same as everyone else, and as such designing challenges that may encourage players to purchase BB and PF with real money is to be expected. Every player makes his own choice as to how much time, money, etc to invest in the game, so everyone will have a different perspective on this event requirement.

It does not bother me that there are some portions of the challenge that I can't finish. I happy just to further my progress in the "regular" day to day farming life.

Thanks to the Farmerama developers for keeping the events and challenges interesting and varied.

I see this event as interesting and challenging. You do have to have a strategy to maximize the rewards and results. I love the graphics, the CC and EP are worth it (at least to me). I am encouraged, that all of the crops, animals and, trees, although older, are now getting used. Whether you had items stored, or have to grow, breed and plant to finish this event, is based on how you set up your daily activities.

This is entertainment, you pay to play. As with all others activities outside or inside your home. This is just another form. Thank you BP for making this old fashioned TM player, happy to have found a game that I can play in my pj's, at lunch, etc., that keeps me interested and seeking to achieve the rewards (good or bad) that I believe are worth it.

Keep up the good work for taking our comments and creating a game that keeps a group of different people interested. Not all will respond, but all are watching. I'm going into my fourth year playing with you and I am glad I found you!! :inlove::inlove:

This event has given me mixed thoughts. On one hand, I think for the easier donations the rewards are a pretty sweet return.
On the other hand....waiting for scarves to "morph" every fifteen minutes is just not doable for most people...me included. Although I am my own boss, I can't justify sitting in front of my computer all day long for 5 or 6 days to watch out for morphing scarves. I tried that yesterday (my day off) and I received a grand total of 40 scarves. So if that is my average watching the computer.... :( :(

    Happy farming everyone:) :)

On first glance, I thought this would be a nice, easy event. Graphics nice as always. The white cows would be a stretch for some, but not bad. the crop amounts were reasonable, the rewards seemed pretty decent and it seemed the option to pick and choose was nice.

THEN... I did the event and started paying attention to the requirements and effort required. The crops, etc are reasonable, BUT waiting for the scarves is ridiculous. Anyone with a real life away from the computer, who cannot sit and wait for a minimum of an hour and a half at least 5 times a day is not going to get the scarves needed. That is, an hour and a half IF the scarves appear in 15 minute intervals as the FAQs state, but they actually take more like 20 minutes or more. Worse, though there are plenty of lantern designs, its impossible to fill ANY of the patterns without lighting at least 2 of the scarf-requiring lanterns. We need at least 90 scarves to get any of the larger prizes. The individual prizes for the lanterns are not bad, though 20 white cows is too much.

EDIT: Not sure why I thought that we had to stay logged on to get the scarves, but I did. So, the above italicized bit is just wrong. The good part about scarves is that it sort of "levels" this event for most players. A lot of us older players were able to finish the other requirements in a day or so, either from stocks or growing, etc. Having the rainforest available for event crops really speeds up production. The bad part is waiting. Any time an event requires us to "check in" more than twice a day to finish, it becomes a burden to many people who work fulltime jobs. I have actually been able to harvest scarves several times a day, but even so, even with the added 12 from admin, I was only able to get one of the bigger prizes this morning. I still need about 30 scarves to finish the event. I likely will.

In the end, I think that the concept -- letting people wait to get items and harvest -- is decent, as I stated it tend to "level" the event, so that older players are still playing several days into the event. However, in this case, the requirement might have been a bit steep. I am not opposed to people who will simply "buy" their way into these event. After all, they help keep the game going and therefore benefit us all. However, I dislike the idea of events require people to pay BB to finish. Any event requiring people to "check in" more than 2-3 times a day (4 at max) will have that impact.

I agree with Woody. The scarf requirements are too time consuming for those that can't be at a computer all day long.

The 20 white cows requirement is absurd and it's terrible that so many of the good prizes are dependent on them. Very few people keep that many breeding animals of that level in their barn which means that to get them we either have to buy them in the market where the prices has been fluctuating between 350k to 450k today (= 7-9 million CC for the twenty cows) or use at least 200 PF to breed them. We just had a breeding event. There will be another breeding event coming up very soon. Demanding this amount of breeding animals at this point in time is just unreasonable.

I knew I would never light all the lanterns, not even going to try the white cow one - but I'm pretty happy with the rewards I can get. *Lots* of EP, BEP and coins. Makes a big difference to someone who's been farming for only a few months.

I agree with everyone, the 20 White cows are a bit of a mood killer.
At least give us a PF sale or a reward that was higher than 30 PF

20 white cows is a bit much for the reward it is going to get us. 8 hour event crop could have been maybe 6 hours and the scarfs are a bit of a joke, like most people I rely on neighbors to gift them because I do not have the time to wait for them to appear.
On the subject of 20 white cows, why not let part donate to get BB's 'buy now' down (like in FQ) that would make it not so frustrating.
The upside, the rewards are really worth it!!

At the risk of upsetting my fellow farmers I will say I've enjoyed this event. I did happen to have the bulk of the white cows in my barn and perhaps that does color my view a bit. I do think it's nice that BP has now announced a short duration BBD to help those that still need or had enough patience to wait to breed.

In general the requirements were very fair (white cows notwithstanding), the graphics are lovely, the event crop is cool looking, drops were good and I didn't have to rip up the bulk of my farm. :) The 8 hour crop is slightly long but it did give a good drop rate and allowed those selling manure to make some CC's. Although if the spawning scarf feature wasn't in place I don't think I would have had any problem at all with the 8 hour crop. Since my entire farm was geared towards long turnovers for crop, stables and trees having to check in regularly to pick up the scarves was pretty tedious. A very small drawback though in my opinion but then I do have the opportunity to sign in often, I can certainly sympathize with those farmers that don't.

The prizes were really great, loads of EP, BEP, CC's and I love the specific trees and stable prizes. Really makes for a nice change from mystery prizes to get something you really want and need. Two thumbs up from me. :D
