    12ss12 , May I borrow a cup of seeds?

    @Doc425
Seems like many are running out of cows now too. I listed one lot of 600 cows not to sell but hoped it wouldn't so I could continue buying and playing like lettuce. Only problem is that the 600 cow listing sold.

The White Cow is a level three breeding animal and many are not getting the results they want. For a change, many do not want skips. There will take a lots of cows to replace the cows in barns now; a lot of feed; and with lots of mill time with lots of lettuce, corn and wheat. And the whole chain of production of the already stressed finished Anaconda is affected in another way with the rabbit call.

Even turkey does not appear exempt from the effects.

I do not have anymore White Cows, Brown Cows, Rosemary, or Peppermint already. This event has changed slightly the way I feel about preparing for other events also.

For those who do not have bat or crow breeding unlocked, even breeding is out of the question if a breeding animal in the area is called for. And I am one who has purposely not unlocked either bat or crow breeding. We are not getting that moonlight field with no plan in mind.

The animal market price adjustment is continuing. Recently I cleared the fish market and the market price has yet to return to previous levels 48 hours later. Some farmers do not have fish. The same is true for horses. I want 25,000 and you can bet I am paying for them too. Peacock is bad too. For an animal with no use whatsoever and as old as it is, the price of 1500 is hard to justify but the peacock price should fall in line also. The poor chameleon has been so far out of line from the very beginning that farmers do not even have pens.

At least some of us are waiting on scarves here. We were all new farmers once and today the new farmer is faced with quite a different set of obstacles.

With playing events to completion how will one ever have a barn worth anything? And careless hoarding and market playing will take a long time to pay off and it requires patience and direction.

    And I'm still lost!

I am not worried about drops, the scarfs .... a totally different matter, I'm just slowly gathering scarfs..... but we are all in the same boat with the scarfs so I guess we all have to have some patience.

I have gone from being relatively pleased to being completely disgusted. This event is nearly impossible for anyone not able to sit and wait at their computer.

Actually, it's not. Every little less than 3 hours or so, there are 6 scarves waiting. So, by just logging in 5 times a day, anyone can get the minimum 30 scarves per day needed for the event.

But those unable to log in at least 5 times per day for 6 days and don't receive some as gifts do have a real problem. Not the rest. The rest just needs to be patient.

Edited based on Mir's remark below.

It's actually 30 scarves per day (180 in total), so it is more like 5 times a day, which I see can be a problem.

You're right, Mir. It's 30 per day, 5 times a day (I forgot the two lanterns, that require 40 scarves each). It could be a problem, yes, but if you get some scarves gifted, then it shouldn't be so hard: it could lower the requirement to 4 times a day some days.

Yes I agree it is a Pain to Get Firefly Scarfs.....Those who is Struggling to Get Firefly Scarfs can only Suggest to use Firefly SOS Thread to ask for help with Firefly Scarfs....or have to Buy Them From The Stores or Buy The Basket Bundles that includes Firefly Scarfs these i would suggest as last Resort....Try to get as many as you can plus use SOS Thread.....

It is going to be Hard Event for those who not able to Login Often Enough or not willing to Buy Firefly Scarfs from the Stores or buy the Basket Bundles

I understand The Frustration not only on Lack of Firefly Scarfs but White Cows too, Perhaps other requirements too. We are here to Advise you and Help you cope Tacking This Event Head On....;)

Uptill now, only 76 scarfs with 6 from gift, day 3 had start half, I 'm under schedule
But I really don't like to sit on computer, remind myself to look at MF every 15min or
set a alarm to remind me every 2hr 45 min to login & check once!
Oh, do I really need to seek help on SOS, not for drop but for this collective item!
Really hate it. However, I will overcome it. At least will be, don't get the CR

I think BP set the 180 scarfs for requirment is a bit high, not everyone could always stay on
game, especially this event ask for 8 hr crop. what to do when you plant your crop & waiting!
If farmers don't get any gift help, it will be very difficult to finished event unless you use BB to buy
    scarfs. So..............................................................................

Is BP want us to buy scarfs OR want us keep on staying in game!

    @dnin21cent

I truly understand your frustration and realize events do not always fit into RL activities.

I bring these events into perspective by recalling that BP is a for-profit enterprise
. The Company is gently yet aggressively and consistently trying to raise RL revenues. They simply must! If insufficient revenues are raised then they simply must find a buyer for the game and dump it as fast as I do lettuce.

The Company needs the RL funds. Example without going into too much detail: Remember all the bugs in the game and how frustrating they were/are to worth with? They have decreased and they ALL can be fixed, ALL of them. But it takes people with a plan, detail and time and they are not working for CCs but RL funds and that activity alone is not so cheap revenue raising is a gentle but necessary process and IMHO the Company is not performing too poorly in their efforts with this game.

Hang in there and do what you can. Maybe even get closer to your neighbors. Don't give up! Yes, I'm kinda laughing ..... trying to imagine how you must look when you look at that screen for those trinkets.

    Oh, farmer_broke
I totally understand BP is a profit making game company. I know that when I
    play this game first year.
I just annoying a bit. I always like to remind myself: It's only a Game, not big deal
    avoid myself to become FOCD,
most important : don't lead by BP... all it's action come to one mainly target : RL money.

If I could get fun within the game. I don't mind give some of my money to them. If one day,
I finally lost interest or just cannot tolerance anymore BP's changes..(Much of farmer know what I
mean...) I will leave this game.

I first appreciate BP for the new feature of event. but the collect scarf just make me a bit
unhappy. after calculation & read the post in this thread, I understand how timely to stay
on game to get enough scarfs.
Nevertheless, I could still spend some spare time to get those scarfs. Just don't like to do so.
I also feel sorry for those got difficulties.

Hi friends ! Good news for those who are struggling to acquire white cows.

    BBD News

Baby Boom Begins: Friday, October 23 at 18:00 CET End: Saturday, October 24 at 18:00 CET
Pity, I finished my breeding. Got the news from Spanish Forum Mini Event announcement.

Finished milling the packs. But still need 78 scarves. 3 & 1/2 days of leave left for me. So I might collect them, I suppose. But really, the appearance of scarves ..... too much to bear....somewhat irritating....hope Farmerama changes it in the future.

RL commitments have kept me from being able to log in regularly. Yesterday, it was only twice, which is far below the average needed of 5 times per day. Special thanks to my neighbors and friends who have gifted scarves to help me stay on track.

I'm glad Baby boom is tomorrow but I did not wait for it as I normally would have as RL commitments right now mean only harvest and replant and then log off. I am a farmer who normally dislikes 8 hour crops but this time around it worked in my favor. The only thing I have to worry about is scarves just like everyone else. Good luck!
