Dress to Thrill Event Strategy

I had about half of my planned overnight done when the login issues started. I couldn't stay up so I got up in the middle of the night instead. My husband thinks I'm completely off my rocker already and it doesn't help to try to explain why I needed to harvest those tombstones and plant some glow mold instead. Oh well I got a whopping 90 spider silk and 14 glimmershrooms, not too bad considering.

 

This is my worst start ever for an event! Yes, I got caught by the log in issue big time!!! I had short term crops in everywhere...preparing to plant long overnight. 10 glimmerstones, 103 spider silk
I also had won on the wheel a 200% EP boost plus with the 100% halloween gift......was terribly excited for a Huge windfall of EP this morning......Not!!!
What a waste!!! It's been over 2 years or more since I won the 200% EP boost! And I buy a lot of spins!

I need someone to take over my farm for me! My mind has left me completely! I just realized that the reason my fields were not ready all at the same time - should have been since I planted carnations last night....I forgot to water them in the glade

I think the only way to recover the dismal start is to go back to bed and try again later.

 

Oh pnp I'm so sorry. Yep, I agree!!! I wish I could go back to bed & pull the covers over my head!

 

Can I join in the go back to bed club! Oh well, it will all be better in the morning ... won't it?

I had finish the event initial planting. plant creep cotton on 3 field. Baha I chose
to grow baha crop as EP is better, MM field also plant the glow mold.........
Wait, I forget that I had make some TB, my Abominable stock had fallen down.
so I plant full field of it..OK, I still need to wait 15 min before I could have a sweet dream !

 

login issues. Bah!. Got caught big time on that one. Started just as I was going in to do my long term planing and had to go to bed before they got it sorted! I think we should get some sort of compensatory basket with the drop items for that since for me it was nearly 10 hours!

Managed 11 glimmers and 90 spider silk with my short term stuff in. Bah!

 

And I forgot the 100% EP boost...

 

The login issues messed up my start to this event too, big time I had log in issues starting from about 6PM. I ended up finally getting back on sometime after midnight
The event should be extended a day. I am not buying a seamstress basket just to catch up

 

Started a little later than I would have wanted with this event but needed the extra sleep. Trying to take the advice of some friends around here who said to take a little me time. So after the kids went to school... I went back to bed Feeling a better me this morning

My first harvest drops didn't seem all that great to me. Oh well. It's still early. I've got to reread this beginning of this thread. I'm not really sure what I'm trying to do yet. My event crops are building up and I'm working on the MM field drops. Only have 32 so far. Not the best as I've done too many short timed crops but I needed them.

 

Really Sorry to Hear many of you had Login Issues that Prevented you planting Long Times Crops to get a good start to this Event....I found I was unable to Login during the Night Where roughly is happen but I was fortunate to have already Planted All My Overnight Stuff before the had login Issues as I wanted to Login to Plant Next lot of Spooky Crops but could not for quiet a few hours. Then Eventually Login Issue Got Fixed.....

I think some sort of compensation should be given to us....I would be completely surprised if Big Point did not compensate to those who have a bad Start or Mess up Effective of using Buffs. I have Activated my CAC and Terror Bouquets to Last 11 Days to get Best of Moonlight Mania Playing field... I have to be careful not to delete these two buff slots....Then Remembered to unlock Third Giveaway Gift then forgot to unlock the Bonus EP One

I started This Event on time but i was using my Smart Phone....I got 202 Spider Silks and 22 Shimmershrooms on My First harvest...Then I discovered that we cannot use Howie Donuts nor Animal or Crop Trophies in Moonlight Playing Field...Then also notice that Manure is already in short supply in the Markets and very price this is not going to help Reduce Spooky Crops Growing time as those who have Moonlight Mania Cloud Row can take advantage of 10% Less Spooky Crops growing time for only 24 Hours then wait 48 Hours to use it again !!

Just Hope that we get good Drop Rate of Spider Silks and Shimmershrooms.....It is a Relief that we do not need to use spooky crops to make Giver Items for New Spooky Cloud Row as this can be done using Spider Silks, Shimmershrooms and Creepy Cottons...So instead will work on the New Spooky Quests and Make some Tentacle Willow Trees !!!

I think we had a Trick or Treat for Real when unable to Login....lets hope we be getting a lovely Treat this Time

 

I had a few hours of play time and short time crops everywhere, I kept trying to log in all evening then went to bed. When I got logged in this morning, it was 14 hours away and I had 12 glimmershrooms and 98 silk. What a poor start.

 

I started the event with 177 spider silk, 35 glimmershroom. It's good.

 

I'm also frustrated by getting caught by the login issue for a second day in a row. It catches me right when it is time to put in my overnight crops, grrr! So the event is off to a slow start and will be compounded by a busy RL for the next few days, I have my fingers crossed on getting this one done but admit I'm worried.

Just hope the log in issue is really fixed and won't come back again tonight

 

Luckily the login issues did not affect me today; they got me yesterday meaning I had pumpkins overnight in my moonlight field - what a waste! Drops look good to me so far; currently over 200 spider silk, only 36 glimmershroom, but fingers crossed!

 

You only need to average 155 spider silk and 30 glimmershrooms each 24 hrs so anyone already over this is off to a good start!

 

I also had login issues, and no long term plants anywhere when it struck... drops in the pit. 99 spider silk and 20 glimmershrooms, not a promising start.

 

What do you say everybody? Seems like a long long time since we were together.

I had login issues long with everyone, but am concentrating on doing what I can now.

 

I just ventured into "downtown" for the first time today and literally squealed with delight at the graphics.

I don't even know where I should post that in the feedback threads but but it's so cool I just love it. The event itself is slow going for me getting off to a bad slow start along with everyone else that had login issues. I can't decide if I want to plant a long crop on all my fields when at next harvest and start again on growing cotton in the morning. ...decisions...decisions....
