I think i'm doing alright so far .... have 198 spider silk .... 33 Glimmershrooms .... still working on getting all crops filled with event crop so not to shabby start i don't think .....

 

Wow! "brokes Spooky Poo" is really having a fine introduction, mighty fine. $$$

With such demand I couldn't help but clear all the chicken feed and the parrot feed from the market.

I need to take care of my good customers later! $$$$$$$$$$ $

 

I am planting a long crop overnight and will start the creepy cotton again in the morning. I want to improve my drops to overcome last night and this morning's errors. I cannot see me planting a 6 hour crop overnight and I am certainly not getting up in the middle of the night! Good luck!

 

Okay long crops in for the night Todays count on drops: Silk 239 , Glimmershrooms 36 need to work on these. Hope all is back to normal for the game tomorrow and for everyone's problems to be resolved. Good night all and good luck!!

 

desi, don't cry. You are above the 24hr average. With your long crops tonight, you will zoom ahead tomorrow!

 

I went with refined raspberries for overnight. Will try to get a good nights sleep and restart tomorrow. Six hours is just to short for overnight. Drops seem to be pretty good on this farm.

I'm going with refined roses, as I still have the cloud row buff running, and ginger overnight. No staying up for me either; cotton planting can wait till tomorrow. Hope everyone has a better day tomorrow!

 

Just another 30 minutes and I'm putting out my refined raspberries. Hopefully will make up some on the lost drops from this morning. Hope we all have a better day tomorrow.

 

I'm another one that got caught with the log in issues - it very rarely happens to me so no complaints but it was frustrating. Sunflowers and Grapes yielded 31 (!) silks for my initial harvest. 14 h into the event I have 96 Silkthings + 53 Glowthings. I'm going away for the weekend so this event might turn out to be a real challenge but plenty of time left so no need to worry just yet

Can't really say I'm worried about this event. I have a LL unlocked of 27%. 50 Glimmershrooms, and 457 Spider Silks so far, and it hasn't yet been 24 hours. So I'm roughly 28% done with Glimmershrooms, and 49% done with Spider Silks. With just over 5 days left to complete the event, I'm certain most of you can get the majority of it done over the weekend, and use the minimal amount of playtime after work to make up on whatever is still needed. =)

I started milling some fabrics earlier, working on completing the first room (the fox) and I realized that both the Event FAQ and BlackCaviar's Event Strategy have the rooms listed in the wrong order (they are listed 4 thru 1 then 5, instead of 1 thru 4, then 5) It's not really a big deal, but thought I'd point it out just in case anyone else ends up confused by it when/if they are milling what's needed as they go along like I am doing.

Now, process so far quite good. Actually, it is a medium difficulty event.
Now, had 70 Glimmershrooms, and 283 Spider Silks event crop only grow 1/3
I had not mill anything yet. I will start mill only I had grow over 6000 of crop.
i.e. half amount of crop requirement.

 

At the 24 hour mark I anticipate having twice the daily estimated requirement so I am very happy with that. I am working from tomorrow through to Sunday but I hope to finish the event crops by tomorrow so I will plant longer crops over the weekend which should give me better drops.

I have finished Clean for a Spell on this farm and should get the Clean for a Spell Cloud Row on Chevrefeuille today or tomorrow so I am really enjoying this extended MM. Will then switch to working on the new quests as the growing times are less, maybe switch to the longer crops when I am working so as not to waste valuable growing time!

Mummy's Curse (and Castle Night on Chevrefeuille) will be my last challenge but I think they will have to wait for the next MM.

 

My strategy was posted shortly after the FAQs and well before the event start. I just listed them in the same order as the FAQs as I didn't have anything else to go on. I think changing the order now would be confusing to those that also read the FAQs but I will make a note there.

I also missed a couple of the prizes: 25 SSG and 25 SG in two different room's step 1.

 

It would be a bit easier/quicker if I remembered to plant the Willow Tentacle Tree I have bought and have now got the XL upgrade for! Oh well, I can plant it in just under two hours ... if I remember ...

 

ok almost 24 hours in and i have 1875 Creepy Cotton ..... 406 Spider Silk ...... 62 Glimmershrooms ...... I have over night crops in .... "might" get another MM crop in before morning depends if i need to go potty through the night lolol ..... so i think i'm off to a decent start

 

Now... Don't forget the SG/mulch and SSG !!!
