frmrlife: If you're going to be away from your computer from 6am until 10pm, I would plant something that takes longer than roses. They give high EP, but right now your concern is event crops and drops, so it's important to not let your farm sit idle. If you're planting roses, even without watering them they are sitting idle for several hours until you harvest. If you're away for 16 hours, plant a 16 hour crop (or, if roses are the highest crop you have, plant onions. Don't water them). The goal is to harvest as soon as crops are ready. On your MM field, I think you meant you do glow mold during the day, and then bat flower when you come home, right? Because that would make more sense than the other way around. On the island, I'd keep planting cotton.
I'm assuming you're using CAC to increase your harvests...if not, you should. :)
Also, don't underestimate the power of the SOS thread. There are lots of really great people who play this game, who are willing to send drops to those who need help. Just specify that you need spider silk, and I'm sure people will start sending it to you.
    Good luck! :)

Earlier today I finished the event crop. I tore out all 5 fields and it took 4 rounds plus one field to get 12,240. Pretty close I'd say. I will start milling when I get all the Glimmershrooms and Silk probably late Friday early Saturday. Now I am growing some safety stocks and then get back into tree fruit and stables later.

5 yellow fabric to mill and I will be done with all my fabric and crops. total on glimmershrooms is 123 total so now I just need to focus on spider silks for all the tasks:p:p:D:music::music:

    I'm trying a new strategy.
I used to pull out all the farm, put in 1x1, use machinery and cac and get crops done as fast as I could, then I would get all the other things.
I have been able to complete most events for while, so I thought I would try to do it slowly. Still got a field of animals, all fields in 2x2 and harvested manually, still using CAC, some trees around edges and some 1x1.
Things seem to be on track and I'm enjoying not feeling I have to be next to a computer at certain times.

I've finished milling, just waiting on glimmershrooms. Got a little growth happy and have grown an extra 1000 spooky cotton before I realised the final part doesn't require milling just drops :wuerg:. Am now rebuilding stocks and trying to get enough spooky crops for cerberus.

12ss12 - I am after the same items for the cloud row! Will have the Cat today and hoping for Cerberus tomorrow.:)

Proceeding nicely, with last crop of cotton in and two thirds of items milled. Have put out chickens in one field to cash in on manure.
:)Event has gone smoothly since the log in problems. Hope everyone is now on schedule with their event plans!

Hang in there Nellie. You're more than 1/2 done milling:)

Two rooms done and almost done with the third. All milling is done, all glimmershrooms are gathered, just need spider silk to wrap it up. That will be accomplished through normal farming so no worries about finishing. I love the extended MM and wish it could be longer than our normal 24 hours.

Oh, Nellie, poor you! That's why I try very hard to grow as much of the stuff as I can before donating so that I can keep a hold on where I am. I have finished two of the characters, milled all but the Yellow Fabric on both farms. Will finish the crops today/tomorrow and then wait for the final drops over the weekend ... that's the plan! :music:

I find that I get lost if I try to do everything at once. I have to try to curb my impatience! :wuerg:

    With more drops than crops

Still have to mill another 10 each of the fabrics and grow more cotton. I refuse to rip out my trees and I just can't pass up selling a bit of poo when the prices are this high so I'm only using 3 fields for this. A little slow but I'll still finish and that's all that matters.

I have however gotten my cerberus, skull candle and spider web for the Jack's Back CR just need the cauldron cat and vampire bunny now. So that feels like real progress to me. :D

BoHoKaren - I have done well with Glow Mold; and using crypt vase, along with sweet rose jam (that benefited all the crops.) Along with CAC and Terror Bouquet of course.
