What do you suggest unlocking crow or bat breeding? And If I unlock one of them can I only breed when there is the MM event?

You can breed anytime after unlocking. I have both unlocked, but chose to do crows first. I was working with crows at the time to take advantage of the crow hoard product of jewels, which has a higher price on my market.:) (did an edit, realized I posted by accident instead of backspacing . . . blushing beet red)

I unlocked Bat breeding to breed the hungry bats in order to open the beanstalks and have never bred another bat. Since I get Albinos from a CR and a seemingly endless supply of upgraded bat roosts from the farm wheel I've never seen the point. Although seeing how many farmers seem to buy those hungry bats instead of breeding them I'm thinking I might breed some to sell.

I don't have crow breeding unlocked cause again I can't really see the point as I have other more pressing breeding goals.

If you have already opened your beanstalk, I'd recommend the crow breeding. There tend to be more upper level bats available on the market than crows (at least on my market). If you haven't opened your beanstalk and are stumped on the 3 hungry bat step, you could open bat breeding to make your own. Keep in mind though that it takes lots of bats (even if you start with albinos) and lots of PF to get your 3 hungry bats. A bit less if you get lucky during a BBD.

I completely agree with you that's why I don't know if I should unlock any breeding but I have a lot of the MM crops now so that's why I reconsidered it.

Noelle yes I have already opened the beanstalk.

I checked my barn and I only have 44 crows and 531 bats. Maybe that makes a difference?

You can make some CCs selling hungry bats but it takes lots of PF unless you get lucky on BBD. Albino bats are relatively cheap. Furry bats often go for less than Hungry bats even though they are the higher level animal. If you want to finish off the Bat Breeding FSQ, you've got a good start. You don't have very many crows so I wouldn't worry about opening crow breeding until you've built up a good supply. If you are good at making CCs, you could finish the Breeding FSQs without ever breeding them. Up to you.
