Mini-Event Gift & Trade November 2015 - Thank you notes

Thank you everyone for trading with me or giving me a gift without return

 

I always have a hard time writing the "thank you" because words cannot really describe how I feel. What I can put into words is that I honestly believe this is the best community for any game that I've ever played, and that ensures I'll be around for a long time. So here's a list of people who I emphatically thank for making this Gift and Trade a most memorable event. *I'm very sorry if I somehow missed anyone. I tried to be diligent in writing down those names who gifted me.*

I had a great G&T and I hope everyone else did as well. Huge thanks out to all who helped me in my "pigstanza", I got loads of lovely pig stable upgrades. I also made what I felt were ridiculously good trades via the trade feature. That was a first for me as usually I only see somewhat crazy offers listed. So thanks to all those unknown farmers who made that possible.

 

A big thanks to all those who traded with me and gifted me - my xxl apple trees are all out, making me minimal ep, but very happy!

I would like to thank all those who let me "gift" them, and to these farmers who gifted to me pickles60, singall,and wuddy also shellhappybj. Thank you so much, as my farm is now a prettier place with the new trees and the pen! It was a fun Gift and Trade!

 

I would like to express my appreciation to all those who so richly gifted me. I'm a new player & have nothing to offer in return & the responses to my post were overwhelmingly generous! I've never been a part of such a friendly, helpful online community. Some of the farmers who gifted me asked not to be named, so I'm not going to name anyone. However, you know who you are & that my gratitude comes from my heart. I promised in my original post to "pay it forward" to lower level players in the future & all of you may rest assured that promise will be kept. One player likened this event to "Christmas morning" and for sure, I felt that childlike delight. Thanks again!

 

What a fun event this has turned out to be. Not just because I received gifts for my farm, which were warmly welcomed & appreciated very much, but also for the wonderful friends I have made! You were really patient with me taking the time to pass along some great advice, Thank you so much!!

I was only able to pass a few things onto others this round, but I'm sure I'll be in a better position for the next event and will give whatever I can, because it feels really good to do so.
I will not name names from now on --sorry about that-- You all know what you've done, how you have helped and how much it meant.

I am sorry for taking so long to get this posted, but it's been kinda crazy here and I've really been debating whether, or not to say something.

Thank you so much MissSmartyPants, sanddollar15, pickles60 and everyone else who was so kind and generous to trade and gift with me. I can never repay your kindness and generosity.

This is for the person who took advantage of a dear friend of mine with a tremendously kind and giving heart. You know who you are. The G&T event is a great time for people to give and receive, but when you agree to trade with a person, then take what they give and refuse to give what you had agreed to give, you not only cheat and take advantage of that person, but you can sour people on the entire idea behind this event. This is a game! If you will do this to someone for a game, what are you like in real life? This is not about what was lost. It's about principles and honesty. When you violate a persons trust, especially someone as kind and generous as this person is, we all lose.

People like you need to look in the mirror. 99.9% of the people here are honest, kind, giving people who will do anything to help someome else. You are in that 0.1% who have no scruples and will do anything to get ahead, at any price. I hope you consider this before taking advantage of someone else.

Like I said, I have been debating about saying anything, but I'm sorry, this was a situation I thought needed to be addressed and I couldn't keep quiet about it any longer. I apologize for ruining the mood.
