Finished on both farms. My hands hurt from all the clicking and can't wait for the new breeding window!

Pnp: Used approx 440 PF and 440 Dogs - always does worse than BillyWhiskers
BW: 300 PF and 319 Dogs - much better skips here

Ready for a weekend of family! :)

Thanks for the support and encouragement. Best wishes to those still working and Congrats to all who have great skips whether it be for dogs or any other animal.

Today, my best skip.....skipping along with my 3 year old niece.;):p:)

All five farms finished but nearly forgot to donate on one farm! Had to go back later this morning. I didn't hurry and had a few minor skips - would have been nice to have a really big skip though. Well done to all who have finished - all we need now is Cat Breeding!

No good skips here. Had to breed huskys to get spuds. Congrats to all who had great skips and to all who have finished.

Much to my great surprise, I have almost finished event, using just over 100 powerfeed and a minimum amount of time (1/2 hour)! Of course, I have the breeding cloud row, rune, pink jelly and lots of pheromones, making it 6 minutes per session.

Good luck to all still working on the event!

That's why the patrons do it here!!... to help, not to hinder.
Farmers are noted for their cooperation. Be sure to share in the future.

BTW I finished yesterday and my best skip was from a Dalmation to a Sparky.

Patience was rewarded, and both of my farms finished with way more ccs than expected. For those still working on it, if you look through this thread there was one key piece of advice that really helped me out. Buy, do not breed upper level dogs if you need Huskies and Spuds. The baby farm with very limited powerfeed, and no breeding rune, was able to complete this event by breeding mostly dogs and a few rounds of dalmatians. The price to sell dogs, dalmatians and elkhounds is still very high, so the profits easily covered buying 3 Spuds plus the breeding animals needed for the Cloudrow Quest. I really struggled to do that quest with my first farm - the cost seemed ridiculously high, but the baby farm bought the items needed in minutes!

Another excellent piece of advice is to not push so hard that this game becomes a second job. I have changed up my approach to the big farm. It has enough ccs and steady source of ep and bep from the cloudrow. So I have stopped relentlessly trying to buy and sell. I am just putting out the stalls and trees that I like when we are not in event mode - the perfumery is so pretty.

My advice to all players is to remember to thank your friends and neighbors as often as you can, they are such a resource to all of these challenges and they make playing this game such a pleasure. It finally occurred to me that paying 2bb for gifts is something both of my farms can easily do if I help BP out by watching their "movies". And I heartily agree, bring on the cats, pretty please with sugar on it!

You know I really love skips also but have been trying for spuds and getting sparkey. Oh well thank goodness I have some great neighbors who love buying power feed and I get some each time!! Thank you neighbors

Done and Done. The skips were horrendous. I only got one level higher than expected for skips. Took me longer than expected. I didn't do any breeding till today though. Hope everyone else did better than I did. I did get lots of dogs back so when I only had 300 on my little farm to start I was concerned. I have 200 something now. Getting the base animal back was better than the beaver event. That one for breeding took over 200 animals and not much back.

Hope you achieved what your heart desired. Congratulations.

The party is over and cleaning up the market stand. Will grab a few loose coins on the way out and ... 8)

Time to clean up, pop a ready red punch, get out the tuxedo, put on the top hat, and get ready for the sky box festivities at the Harvest Hoedown Celebration. Can't wait to watch the barns and farms burnin on the Hoedown playground.

    And by golly, I can't wait to shake a leg......haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahaha :D xDxDxDxDxD . . 8) .

I finished on both farms. I couldn't wait for enough Huskies or Spuds to come on the market so did it all through breeding. Changed to Dalmatians, Elkhounds and even Huskies to get the right number. I sold about 400 dogs on both farms until the price started to drop and sold my excess Dalmations and Elkhounds. :p

I keep looking at my figures and can't understand it. I seem to have used hardly any dogs at all. o_O

    Illy:

Started with 1934 dogs, sold 400, leaving 1534. My final count of dogs was 1553! (I have got 88 pens on both farms out but I'm sure I only harvested once between start and end of breeding.) So if this is right, I only used 73 dogs! :music:

    I used 290 PF and 390 Pheromones. :)

    Chevrefeuille:

Similar scenario, started with 1326 dogs, sold 400, leaving 926. My final count of dogs was 964 (and if I add the 92 from my dog harvest), I used 130 dogs. :)

I used 208 PF and 186 Pheromones. :inlove:

Illy got the best skip (Sheila Inu and Sparky) but Chevrefeuille got more skips: 3 Pugs, 1 Sparky plus more Huskies and Spuds so used less PF and Pheromones. :D

    This was fun! xD

Finished event yesterday. I used more PF then I wanted too. Next time I will remember to buy the higher levels when skips are bad.

Finished on both farms good and not so good
:inlove:austg by just breeding - got great skips here only up to Spuds and huskys - no higher but I got almost everything I needed just from 1 round of breeding 50 pens - did extra 7 pens to get hounds needed.
:wuerg:austg1 - only got dalmations and hounds from first 50 then did another round - got a few huskies and one spuds when I realized only 100 PF left I gave up and just watched market to buy the hounds, huskies and spuds got good deals, considering current prices, since I got to market early spent about 1.5m ccs

Started selling pups to try and recoup spending spree made about 100,000 cc and then thought what am I doing harvest event 5 days away - I am hoarding those pups to donate to the empty pit:p:music:
Will make up the money later8)
Congrats to everyone on the great skips!

I finished the event and had very few skips. started with 300 dogs and ending with 68. I did grow some dogs during the event so would be more than the 300 start.

I did 200 breedings and had to go to higher level breeding (42/200) just to finish as my skips were horrible. I bred some huskies and got my highest level of dog, a pug, but with breeding dogs, my highest were just elkhound. I had to breed the huskies just to finally get the party dogs.

yesterday, after breeding ,I defined that I had completed event even I had not done
LV 2gold & diamond, But I don't care, cause I don't want to waste my PF to breed those
Dalmatian, yes, I could buy them in market, But the price is too high that even I get
those dogs & dog feed could not cover the cost. So, if I don't care about the stars (I
had over 900 of them) why I get a loss on doing those 2 level ! ! !
Regarding the breeding. nothing good to mentioned. except I got a husky from basic
but that's all, all other just 1 or 2 skip, Overall, I used around 200 PF (included I get
from event) I only get a CR & orange workshop upgrade.
But I want this 2 item. So, just do what I want :music::music::music:
