thanks Mooboy, I know if under calculation.GrowGain maybe really expensive to grow,
But I just don't want to waste time to make sure something I don't need to care. I know
that it will be clarify later by some intelligence farmers..
However, I think those mushroom stew should treat like Aetheria14 's attitude, just collection
    them every
8 hr, you may donated them if you go for top 1000, or save them to exchange for
some reward at end of event.
because It's no cost at all.

From the FAQs, I gather that the number of Mushroom Stews are not limited to 3 per day because their base growth-time is 8 hs; besides, after having seen the picture in the Italian FAQ -same as displayed in the English one-, I understand there will be many growing in unison, not just one, in at least 4 areas of the event window. In fact, the mill produce that will reduce their final effective growth-time will translate into increasing the total daily quantity: once you harvest one, another one starts to grow, and the growth-time of the latter can also be reduced, and so on.

Therefore, these Mushroom Stews may make a difference for those going for the Top1K.

I bet many of those players will try to get dozens of them per day.

thanks Aluntino, Oh, that a new information not state on FAQ, I only see 4 mushroom
on the second picture, I thought that you got 1 mushroom stew once you harvest Then
you need to wait for 8 hr again.
Well, if more than that, GrowGain will be more efficiency for those go for Top1000.

Strategies are pouring down. I am becoming wiser & wiser. Thanks everyone.

    @Mooboy
I didn't pull them down. I just harvested them & was battling whether to place comfort fields or trees. But decided to go for trees. Not wasting my supergrows on comfort fields. Might be necessary later on for growing crops. Moreover you get tree fruits. Following your advise, at present not concentrating on drops. Let's deal with them later, if necessary.

Thanks for your TOP 1000 strategies too. Very useful. I am just like a cat on the wall. Will jump any way any time. :pSee the requirements & take stock of my barn, mainly the value of the tree fruits and then decide. But don't count on me. As I said earlier, if I feel that it will be very much injurious to my Barn, I might retreat.

@ Aluntino Thanks for the great information from Italian FAQ.

    12ss12,

The same info is actually implicit in the English FAQ.

I guess this time the minimum requirement to have a chance at the Top1K will be in the range of 200/250+M CCs in ExV terms. The ability to donate bred animals will allow many to provoke earthquakes in rankings very very quickly; some players may have large product stocks but I don't think they are too many (because they've never been listed as usable for donation in past Top1K editions, as far as I can recall). So, I bet it'll be fun to see the ranking battles at the very top, and how the bottom evolves. Bred animals will end up making a lot of a difference.

@ Aluntino - I think you might be confused I just double checked the FAQ again and there is only 1 mushroom stew producing in the event window at a time.
The four plus sign areas are the donations for each mushroom set the plus sign is above.
The plus signs go away once all donations are complete and the mushroom stew window takes over. (look at the pictures in the FAQ link above)
Each Mushroom Stew takes 8 hours - each Grow Grain decreases the Stew time by 1 hour.
Once you harvest the stew then a new once begins to make - if no Grow Grain used then only 3 stew per day if you harvest right at 8 hours.
    To make Grow Gain:
    STEP 1 - Mill Secret Ingredient = 12 x Blue parasol, 4 x Orange honeycomb, 8 x Blushing star, 6 x Forest lantern
    STEP 2 - Mill Grow Grain - 1 x Secret Ingredient, 3 x Vermiculite
Unless the Italian Forum know something different - it does say things can change:oops::eek:o_O

For once I had my strategies all worked out, four fields of trees on this farm, one field of trees and animals on three other fields for Chevrefeuille - only to find we don't really need the drops (unless ... ahem ... one is going to attempt to race with the bigger boys) and we don't get drops from workshops (I'm presuming that's animals and products). :wuerg:

So on this farm I will see how quickly I can grow the crops using the four fields and then decide if I am game for the attempt to see myself briefly in the Top 1000. :D

Chevrefeuille may just take it steady, using ONE field, maybe comfort fields, (unless time gets tight) and keep all the others full of animals and trees - really need to get my stocks up on the baby farm. :music:

Work is going to be both good and bad for this event. I have only two days off during the event but I am working mainly mornings which means I can do more harvests - win win! xD

I don't know that we need an SOS thread for this one ... what should we do to help those going for the Top 1000? o_O

PS: Does anyone know how many seeds we get? I'm presuming it will be 5 of each (10 would be just too brilliant!). o_O

    frmrlife,

The areas I mentioned were not the boxes at the top: they are the mushroom groups shown in the picture. The Italian FAQ doesn't say that multiple mushrooms will be growing at the same time explicitly -the English one doesn't either-, but the use of the plural makes it crystal clear for me.

I've just double-checked in the Spanish FAQ: by comparing the picture posted in it with the Italian's and the English's, it's clearly seen the different growth state of mushrooms in all those 4 areas:
    http://es.bigpoint.com/farmerama/bo...-de-la-cosecha-2015-recolecta-de-setas.22628/
    https://board-en.farmerama.com/index.php?threads/mushroom-harvest.22527/

    Just compare the pictures.

From them, I understand there will be multiple mushrooms growing in unison at a time in 4 different areas. It may easily translate into dozens per day, even more than a 100 per day if a player is able to mill the speeding stuff like crazy.

Breeding animal donation will play a very very insignificant part of contributions to the TOP 1000. Each to their own of course but such a contribution makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

I don't know if it should be this thread or create another, but I'd like to know who is actually going for the Top 1000 so I can support them by sending pheromones or the drop.

Another top 1000 event, do I need the stress?
Has my barn recovered? or is it still a mess?
How many sleepless nights ?- about seven I would say...
But it is a top 1000... they don't happen every day..
    :sleepy:
I am going to the mountains, for a weekend away
Internet access is patchy, that makes it hard to play
But a gateway in the old fence is a fair reception spot
It is decision time - will I, or will I Not?

Last time was fantastic ! - English forum support was tops !
It was worth it just to be a part of that and there aren't too many crops
No decision yet.... but can I say 'no'? Hmmmm .... thinking on the way
I will let you guys know yes or no, later in the day.....

    illy1996,
I was thinking like you - start a new thread - Top 1000 Strategy - like an SOS thread - something differrent from this - so we know who our EN Forum Top 1000 Farmers are - what gift they prefer to be sent to help them along - and they can post updates if something changes or have thrown in the towel.
:oops:Or maybe they prefer not - might give away too much information to their competitors?
Top 1000 EN farmers let us know - we are ready to help!:music:;):inlove:

    Aluntino,
The four event rooms can be donated to in unison - this is the 4 plus signs.
Not the Stew - only 1 Stew at a time
I just don't want farmers to be confused that more than 1 Stew will be producing at one time.
Unless something changed - I did go read the Italian FAQ from your link and it states the same.

    Below copied from FAQ
Mushroom Stew - It can be collected every 8 hours in the event window, after all 4 event rooms are completed and top 1000 is unlocked.
Harvest time can be reduced with 1 hour with every GrowGrain added in the event window.

After the 4 rooms are completed, you will be able to start collecting Mushroom stew in the event window, every 8 hours, and reduce it's time by adding GrowGrains produced in the mill (1 hour reduced for each GrowGrain added).

    @baw815

If I can get it in me to grow the "event junks" then I will more than likely send my baby farm: mud_pie_man. It needs nothing. It's either ready or it's not. No last minute struggle with growing flowers and producing tree fruit now! It's all but over.

    PS

The farm was inspired by interacting with our moderator teddy.bear in the chat room and the farm's wonderful mentor has been Brookeham. Both individuals have been quite influential over time, hold a special place in my heart, and I hope the farm will appear where they both will see what their genuine influence lead to.

This was a very real factor in the Top 1000 Harvest Hoedown a year ago. Donations at the click of a mouse from the barn can be huge.
I was # 915 with ten minutes to go and at the finish I ended up #1005 !!! (although later 125 people were disqualified)
My estimate of donations was 100 million ccs worth about halfway through the event, but actual donations ended up being 243 million for last spot !!!

That's good advice from the previous posts here. Last year was an exercise in futility for me. I donated in the neighborhood of 12 million then came to my senses. That cloud row sitting empty with the greyed out Chestnut Animals are my reminder/500 lb. gorilla. I have 1300+ Parrot feathers but I'm leery of using them to get to 5,013th place.
The top givers must be stock demons to have that much to donate. I think I'll just take the first round and call it square. Good luck to those giving it a shot though.

    frmrlife,

Again, I was not referring to the donation boxes but to the 4 growing areas; of course donation boxes will be available at all times. I'm now almost 100% sure that multiple mushrooms will be growing in the event in unison in 4 areas of the event window. Just check the pictures of the two FAQs I posted above, showing different growing statuses.

Anyway, once someone gets to that point, with event started, we will know for sure.

I've just looked at game FAQ's Workshops - scented trees not mentioned in there. In game FAQ's Special trees the scented tree is still there and there is nothing written to say it is now classed as workshop. I hope that is helpful.

I agree with Cassie. If you look in your barn under Products, you won't find pheromones. They are listed under "Other".

My plan is pretty simple. I'll be completing the normal event and acquiring the loot which comes from completing the four rooms. After those crops are done I plan to resume operations as normal, making animals and tree fruits. As far as burning my barn is concerned...consider it gone. I will sell anything and everything when the prices inflate as I really don't have much and that CC will allow for me to build up a good stockpile once prices have dropped back to normal levels. I wish anyone who is competing good luck and will be doing my part by sending Pheromones.
