Aluntino, I agree with frmrlife. Four mushrooms grow to make one mushroom stew. But if you have lots of GrowGain you can make many stews in a day:

The Danish MODs say that only one stew grow at a time. What you see in the pictures are the different stages of the mushrooms that will become the stew once they are ready.

Edit: Mir you were faster than me :)

I do concur that Pheromones is Classed or Listed as Others Same as Tool Items. Therefore I need to Remove the Suggestion to Donate Pheromones to any Farmer is completing in Top 1000 as We will not be able to Donate Pheromones into Top 1000 Sadly as they are worth 500 EV Each

Also Each Farmer is limited to 20 Gifts per Day Therefore it is not going to help much to send Vermiculate to Help Farmers to mill GrowGrain to Speed up Reaping the Mushroom Stew I am going to show the Facts about Making Mushroom Stew as you can see for yourselves weather it is worth Making Special Ingredients and Grow Grain to obtain a Mushroom Stew Instantly !!!

    • 12 Blue Parasol (9 EV) X 8 = 128 Blue Parasol (1152 EV)
    • 8 Blushing Star (12 EV) X 8 = 64 Blushing Star (768 EV)
    • 4 Orange Honrycomb (20 EV) x 8 = 32 Orange Honeycomb ( 630 EV)
    • 6 Forest Lantern (18 EV) x 8 = 48 Forest Lantern (864 EV)
    • Combined Total EV Value = (3424 EV)
    • Subtract this From 15,000 EV From Mushroom Stew
    • Leaving a Gain of 11576 EV for Each Mushroom Stew Grown Instantly
    • But also you need 24 x Vermiculate (Drop Item)
The Bahm Crop Equivalent of These 4 Event Crops in Terms of Exchange Value and Baha EP / Event Crop EP

    • Chili EV = 21/ Baha EP = 58 BEP Verus Blue Parasol EV = 9 EV/ Baha EP =36 BEP (Both 4 Hour Crops)
    • Sweet Potatoes EV = 25.5 / Baha EP = 71 BEP Verus Blushing Star EV = 12 EV/ Baha EP = 44 BEP (Both 5 Hour Crops)
    • Hisbisus EV = 39.5 / Baha EP = 108 BEP Verus Orange Honeycomb EV = 20 EV/ Baha EP = 60 BEP (Both 8 Hour Crops)
    • Red Peppers EV = 30/ Baha EP = 84 BEP Verus Forest Lantern EV = 18 EV/ Baha EP = 52 BEP (Both 6 Hour Crops)
Therefore this is why i am only going to grow minimum Requirement of Event Crops for this Event to Complete Only All 4 Rooms

Along the Lines of Exchange Value Growing times Growing these Event Crops on Island and RainForest...As you see above we are better off growing island Crops as Alternative to Growing Event Crops at they give better Exchange value and Better BEP too

We can use Tiki Timer to Reduce the Growing Times on Red Peppers/Sweet Potatoes and Chili too Since we cannot use Refinement on These Plus we can Take Advantage of +1 Vegetable Cloud Row Too on These Veg Crops but can Take Advantage of Flower Cloud Row Growing Hisbisus give 30% Extra EP on this Flower Crop ;)

dNeon-Lights confirmed that pheromones themselves may not be donated to the TOP 1000.

Therefore, the recipient of a pheromone gift during this event will have to use it in breeding or sell the pherone in the market and buy what they choose.

And please do not send my baby far, mud_pie_man, any cheap pheromones or tool boxes or that junk CAC. If you mut send something then send Wilson. I'll put in out in the main field after growin those event junks. Wilson will protect my farmhouse and last longer than the others. Thanks.

All I need is a couple ah hundred. xDxD But don't use BBs to send them. No hurry hurry. :wuerg::wuerg:

    @Mooboy

Pheromones aren't that bad if one wishes to do the exchange through the market an use the proceeds during this event. On most markets they are now around 500 cc each and some over 600.

To be in agreement -or disagreement- with anyone, for that matter, there should be somewhere to get clear info from: in none of the FAQs I checked, including the English one, anywhere says that 4 mushrooms make 1 stew.... So...

If it's so, so be it. In fact, I really don't care. What I think though is that info as such -important as it is because it might have made a significant difference in planning terms for those going for the Top1K- should be crystal clear from start in all FAQs -and none of those I've checked say so-: it'll save us a lot of time guessing and trying to get clarification from different sources, and then losing time debating our guesses.

Mine was only a guess based on the info as it is provided to us. It should be taken at its face value. If it's not correct, well, it's not me to blame.

I'm lost in all that crop growin stuff. Here is the strategy I will recommend to mud_pie_man to get this junks growing over with:

No hurry hurry. This is what I'll do:

    3000 orange ones
    3000 starries
    4000 blue ones
    1250 lants

Throw um in the fields usin 1x1's and junk CAC Just throw um out there.:D
    Harvest um whenever RL allows.

Look, no big deal. Heck, you folks grow junks all the bloomin time. :wuerg:

Okay....Speak up if any of you need Tiki timers :) Looks like pheromones will not help anyone out and I will send Mud Pie Man his Wilson. But please none in return xD Let us know how we can help :)

It seems so odd to not be worried about drops, not timing out crops to be ready at the perfect time. It just does not feel like the Harvest Hoedown.

As I'm totally unprepared to set up for a large drop event I'm relieved I don't have to. I'm hoping to make some CC's so the challenge for me becomes when to sell. Often in events you make the most selling early but in this one I'm thinking it might be a better idea to wait. Any suggestions?

Sadly I can't make as much as I can see to be made in this event, so far I am guessing the crops needed in both CAC and garlic pesto.
I need to work them a lot harder :sleepy:silly me has them on the to do list but hazel nuts are in the refinement right now.
If anyone can suggest more know I am taking notes and wait eagerly.

as for the 1st part of this I will be doing that, now to go find my notes on 1x1's to 2x2's etc......

Keltic, if you don't go for top1000, why you so care about those garlic & hazelnut.
You could still make some good CC to sell something else.
what else refinement have you make, just hazelnut, how about rose. they are selling 100CC
at my market.Grow time is shorter!
What kind of fruit you got most & not need for any quest. Check if they are Sell good at market.
For refinement of your hazelnut. Do you got the early bloomer, if not yet, my advise is even
you got got much stock on hand. I think it will be better not do anymore. just sell them at market
to get more CC, you could do irefinement later. You may cont'd to grow hazelnut after you had
finished your event crop. But bear in mind the manure price will be very high at event time, So do
not try to add manure for your hazelnut or long hr crop if you just want to sell them on market to
    gain some CC.

Thank-you for your quick response, I figured the farmers going for the top 1000 will need CAC, my luck in selling craft things well I get buried every time I put one item up and mega farmers each hit the craft with 2 pages of offers lower price and so I stay away till I got more to play there.
So I figured the prices will go up on the items in the things like CAC so I figured growing something in cac would be the way to CC.
-.-I never was good at figuring future needs.
Thanks, I will stop hazel nuts, I got early bloomer, I will check my barn and watch the market, I got tree fruit not big dog level, but a bit.

I am hoping that cuckoos will finally be worth growing for their high EV, as they generate lots of manure, but as of now their market price does not cover the cost of feed. My current plan is that I will turn my farm into a vast chicken and parrot coop once my event mushrooms are finished for a good portion of my day off - with roses and carnations while at work. Good luck to all those going for the top prizes!

I guess this event has its uses. All my leftover dogs which I placed with high prices were sold yesterday night. I suddenly find myself rich. Now, don't take that to be too much. But still I am rich, now :pxD I didn't expect my left overs in the market to be sold so soon. Yesterday I was thinking my dogs might be bought but will they stay at the market till then or be returned to my barn because its nearly going to be a week since I placed them.

The fact I deduced from this is Someone is going for TOP 1000 from my market. Yeh !!!!

Now I am in a dilemma. What will be best to be, a seller & make lots & lots of CCs :Dor to be a competitor ? :music: because the prize is not very attractive except the LIGHT MAKER which give 30 % EP for 4 hrs. Why make decision? Just adjourn it till the end of last few days & decide. By then I would have taken the stock value of my barn, the minimum amount required to be in the competition will somewhat emerge & you will know whether you have chances to win or not. As I said I am weak in maths & need such a lot of time to make calculations;)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After some initial calculations, I find marketing will be more profitable for me. My barn will be totally out, if I go for 1000 which will have a bearing on me in my future farming. If I go for selling, both my barn & bank will be full.

I have made my mind. No TOP 1000 for me. Only selling. I am cured of 1000 fever. The antidote is 'taking stock of your barn'. But now I have an other fever. To make CCs.

    Now I fell safe & comfortable 8)

    Oh, 12ss12,
glad you come back from the famous run for 1000 fever
although you fall in another hottest making CC fever, but this will be far more easy to cure!
I still not determine if I should join the hottest fever or not.
I like to gain some CC, I'm not greedy one(this time) let see how the market go..
since the prize is not so attractive this year, I wonder how many farmers will withdraw from
being : wash barn hero , change into be the biggest CC maker xDxD

Growing event junks is simply easy busy work and we all can do it. And we'll take the cheap rewards. Part 1 is a dance.

Based on prior experience I will do the following with the baby farm to make further decisions:

    1. Determine total EV of mainland tree fruit (excluding any expensive tree fruit). Then add to it
    2. Barn total EV of BAHA tree fruit (again excluding any expensive tree fruit). Then add to it
    3. Barn total EV of parrot feathers. Then add to it
    4. Barn total EV of roses and carnations.

Get that single total. This total will tell you where you are.

If one is iffy at that point there are a couple of things one can do if still determined to play in the competition (we may discuss later).

I'll do that again right now for the baby farm, mud_pie_man. It's probably easily around 550 million.

Giving away animals, breeding animals and most other crops and products is like striking a match. :wuerg: But if you got it like that 8)8)then....well....roll with it high roller. xD Yheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaa xDxD

Let me know your market number if you're giving away breeding stock and animals. I might have a little something you need high roller :D8)8)xD

    ------------------edit------------

The total is over 638 million. mud_pie_man may either grow the crops and play around a little or ... go to the market and get at least 290 million ccs fairly quickly.

Poor mud_pie_man, doing a timed BAHA quest when it needs to grow junks. Maybe the farm needs Mentor Brookeham to appear and put it on the right track.

The strategy is to begin planting crops on the rain forest then to BAHA as seed supply grows, roses in the meadow and main farm area (with a couple of donkey pens), and a four hour crop in the glade. FSQs which provide the farm equipment will be done just before the first harvest, CAC is already running for the duration, SG and SSG which has been saved will be used on the first few seeds, one white innocence will be used, and Wilson will supervise by being present near the main farmhouse. :D

    Good luck everyone.

@dnin21cent Thank you for your recovery message;) I will try to stay healthy ;):)

What, No update for this easy event ?

Alright I will post one :p

I have 215 vermiculite now. In another two hours I will do my last planting & be off to sleep. May be I will finish the event tomorrow afternoon or evening.

2 players have already found place in TOP 1000 with 52.2 million & 9.5 million respectively. I think by tomorrow afternoon, the fun will begin. We can keep watching TOP 1000 race and cheer.:D

Blimey! This is more complicated than I thought. Mind you, I am just on my third (of five) consecutive early mornings so I am probably not at my numeric best! If I ever am, that is! I was going to be so methodical and organised. Phooey, I got different timed fun guys growing all over the place - but eventually I will have enough of each to fill my selected fields, I just don't know which field to go to at the moment. I look at one and it says I have over an hour to wait, go to another and I have glowing mushrooms waiting for me! :D

I don't think I will be doing extra/milling/collecting lots of Mushroom Stews. I will be happy to do the basic event and help if I can those who have worked so hard to have a shot at this annual madness! xD

Edit: I can't believe that after only two hours of the event, two farmers are already finished with the basic event and contributing already! Get growing those junks FB! :wuerg:
