Nellie: It comes from the Carousel Music Box. Reduces growing times on Bahamarama veggies by 20% for 6 hours. My baby farm was lucky enough to win one in a long ago random prize event - it is really pretty. I have 200+ Tiki Timers - I think I used one once! But one day ...

Noelle: I suppose if somebody had tons of Supergrow and Suzy's, cleared all fields, had all the necessary buffs and bought as many baskets as necessary, voila. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Funny thing, I am getting drops from animals and workshops. Thought I was imagining it but then harvested some Hydrant Factories and got some drops from them. Now why couldn't this happen when we all really need drops!

First muck up of the day! Wanted to have the right number of Forest Lanterns so I didn't over-plant, input 47 in the deposit box - and it took all but 10 of the crops! Thankfully it is the one for the least requirement! Serves me right for a) trying to be clever and b) boasting about getting drops from workshops!

And nobody forget ... Friday 13th! Lucky I'm not superstitious, touch wood!

 

Just getting in from a Dr appt and see that the race has begun! Wow! Someone is already finished with the basic event and has contributed over 87 Million. Whew!

My poor 5 seeds starts are all ready at different times. It will be easier once I have enough to fill the fields and concentrate on one at a time. Mismatched harvest times make me crazy!

 

Now there are 5 in the TOP 1000. Like pnp said its 87.5 million. But the next is 52.9 million & the last is 6.1 million. I hope to see our English players in the list tomorrow. There is a punch dialogue in my language - that's - even if I come late I come as the latest - So will our English players.

At the moment it appears everyone in my market is selling not buying. I've actually scooped several really good deals so far. I might end up spending more than I make if this keeps up.

The usual serial overachiever has already donated in excess of 1,2 billion CCs in ExV terms....

Well, I haven't ripped up all my fields and am happily plodding along growing what I need to donate to the rooms at my own pace - it's so nice and leisurely! I've also snapped up a few good deals on the market but the prices are starting to increase.

 

The markets are crazy. The things I thought would be up in price are not and I'm buying more than I'm selling

 

Many of those selling are burning their farms. Those who prepared for one year and quite possibly two are not buying at these rates. Those doing so will use the proceeds and buy at inflated rates. They are paying about 20% more than if they had bought a month ago.

The mud_pie_man farm has a few million to spend. And it will not pay a fraction of a cc above the rate it was paying. This unreasonable practice of sellers will go on all week until the panic buyers run out of ccs. The unprepared are torching their farms and quite few will have a chance of placing in the TOP 1000.

This farm is buying evenly with selling. What this farm wants is cheaper now and available in greater quantities than before the event due to the barn burners selling desperately. The items I regard as safe to store ccs are still available in the same price range.

 

Just knocked out the Forest Lanterns (the prize with the biggest bang for the buck).
I have listed some items for sale but will cool it off after reading what the sagest of the Farmers are saying.

 

JJenks - I noticed the same thing about our market. Not what I was expecting either.

Will be gone most of tomorrow, so will put out comfort fields for the longest mushrooms.

My market was actually the opposite earlier, they were buying, Had a few larger lots listed and *POOF* they were gone. so made some cc. Seems to have slowed down now, so I have listed a few more things in smaller quantities. We'll see what happens..
