I love the design of the crops. They're beautiful.
I would however love to be able to play for a CC item. And not just CC in the cloud row effect. There's never a real CC item that stands on it's own.
It's just a wish of mine, that's all.

I am disappointed there is no challenge unless you go for the TOP1000, which is too much of a challenge for most of us. An easy event that anyone can do can be held at any time, but the harvest event is traditionally though. Last year was really hard for me, but the reward was excellent. I was better prepared this year and looking forward to something similar :(

Anyway, the prizes are really good for the effort required, and the mushrooms and event window look fantastic :)

Even though it maybe a bit silly to inform or advise BP
But, milling GrowGain for speed up of mushroom stew is really useless for those
attempt for top1000 as the effort & return is unbalance.
I think not many farmers will grow GrowGain. (unless the mushroom stew is not
only harvest 1 per round, like Aluntino discuss with us on strategy thread)
those not go for top1000(like me) will surely just ignore it
Even those go for top1000 will use their time & effort grow something more valuable.
So, Why BP don't get a deeper thought before they introduce something which is
at end, not be used by wise farmers.
I would rather BP to make this Mushroom stew as a Must requirement for finished
    of Part I.

I am comparing Completing This Year Hoedown Festival is a Hit and Miss. The Hit part is that the First Part of this Event is one of easiest Festival Event Ever to Complete using the Layout of 1x1 + CAC....Having RainForest really Makes a Difference on This Part of Event as Completing All Four Rooms is Actually on Easy Side to Medium Difficulty....

It is Nice to Grow four Different Mushroom Like Event Crops will be Pretty and Colourful.....But The Biggest Let Down is using Event Crops and Requirement of Getting Mushroom Stews. This is only going to Help those into Top 1000 but only a Fraction of us Farmers actually going for Top 1000.

The Exchange Value of These Event crops is pittance in Exchange Value compared to Normal Crops Alternative which is better option for Donations into Top 1000.

This Biggest Disappointment of All is The Rewards for Top 1000 is not half as Good in Terms of Prizes Compared to Last Year Top 1000 !!!

It is a huge Let Down for Many Farmers who have been Gearing up for this Event All Year only to Find the Top 1000 Rewards is not half as rewarding as it was last year.

I am Certain that many Farmers will back me up on Rewards for Top 1000. Normally This Event has been Aim for Hoarding Kind of Farmers But Newbies have been considered this time round as No Need to Donate any Breeding Animals or Animals or Products etc to complete the NON Top 1000 Part of This Event.

From High Level Farmer/Hoader Perspective it is a Huge Let Down.....!!!!:(:(:wuerg:

This will be rather boring for me and most of the rest who are not doing top 1000. Its just grow, grow, grow which is tedious. I'm sure it could have been made a bit more exciting for the majority of ordinary players!

I will agree with Mooboy that the event is Hit and Miss. Many players have spent all year planning and preparing for this annual event which is known to be traditionally tough but with good prizes. This year, everyone should be able to complete the basic event as there is no concern about drops which is part of every event strategy and can easily be done with CAC. The prizes are nice for the amount of crops required. There just isn't any challenge.

The nice part for many players is that this event will allow players to continue their own personal farming goals without interruption. I am not sorry that I don't have to part with breeding stock.

It is also nice that the top 1000 donations are not restricted to certain categories as it has been in the past.

I don't really see the point in the drops and milling as I am not sure that the top 1000 players will spend their time on the stew when there are other things already in game that will provide a better donation value. For everyone else, it is useless.

    The crops are beautiful.

Love the new pull down menu in the Top 1000 window where can view our neighbors, English players or all. Great addition!!

The mere fact that I don't have to hoard crops and animals all year to participate is the chief reason I'm participating in it. I'm probably a lower level player (level 82) but most events typically require everything I can give them and I've had my ~edit~ saved any number of times because I'd banked up some goods, only to blow them on a given event. Recovery (at least at my level of knowledge/skill) is relatively slow and I've skipped a few events because they required amounts of things I just couldn't raise without having skipped other events.

In other words, I'm relieved this event is one I can enjoy participating in without wrecking all my backstock and thus potentially missing completing any number of future events.

I already have two event rows that I can never complete unless those quests come back around or something. I'm glad not to add to them. :)

    Howdy!

One of the most easiest events of all time. Especially if you buy the Event's offer a couple of times.

About the second part, I will not participate at all, my farm is almost empty, because I spend most of my corps and animals to previous events. But even if I had lot of supplies, I wouldn't be able to reach in the top 1000, and stay there until the end of the event.

    Sorry for my bad english.8)

    Boring!
What use to be the most challenging and the only real tough one for even very high level players, is now a "Medium" (I would rather call it easy) event. Stew that is only good if you go towards Top 1000 otherwise useless. Drop items that are of no use, never heard of such a thing. A few thousand of each crop to grow and that's it - I'm certainly disappointed.

    The graphics are stunning!

Considering all the recent events that have required workshop items, animals, tools etc etc - this is nice.
I feel this event is of a peace offering from BP to all players big and small a offering of Thanksgiving - thank you for playing our game. Thank you for recognizing all of us. Much appreciation!
I too love the drop down to see my neighbors or my Forum for Top 1000!

I'm a little confused, what is the stew for? And the mill products?

If I read the FAQ correctly, to get the 4 rewards you only need to donate event crops. So... everything else is ONLY if you feel confident enough that you might end up in the Top 1000? Am I right?

I am confused as the grow gain stays in my barn but I cant use it. It doesn't let me move it or attach it to crops

If you are just doing the quest you only need to grow the number of crops asked for.No milling, drops or neighbour's gifts needed. :)

Only farmers doing the top 1000 need to do more.

    I am enjoying the quest:D

I'm not doing the Top 1000.

Prizes for Top 1000 are not enough for the amount of goods needed to get on the list. :(

yes, all your guess is correct. that's nothing to do with the stew, drops ,milling if you don't
    go for top1000.
That's why my post say that BP design a event which some new feature is useless as farmers
don't want to do anything with it. the worse is :
many wise farmers (good at calculate) found that it is better not to grow extra event crops to
mill for those GrowGain. they just prefer to use the time & resources to grow/make something
    more valuable for donation.

Nice, easy and relaxed. Decent prizes for the work put in for the basic part. Top 1000 isn't for me and looking at the prizes, they're not overly impressive considering the quantities some farmers are donating.

I've completed the basic part of the event. Compared to last year, this was simple. The prizes offered reflect that. Am I wrong for feeling that for a "Harvest" event, it was too simple? I realize that last year's was way too hard just for the basic part of the event but I think the pendulum has swung too far the other way. Those that save up all year for the Harvest event will wish for something more in the middle next time.

I like this event. Its easy to do for those of us who work. I can still enjoy my weekend without having to log in constantly (which I cannot do). I love the rewards for the effort I have to put in. I feel this was a great event. Looking forward to completing the cloud row. I love the cute mushrooms and so colorful too. Just a nice event. Thank you.:)
