Would like to share my good news with my farmer friends

Fifi, as you go along I think you will get better at taking notes. You are just getting into things right now, and your brain is working at absorbing and organizing info. After awhile, I believe you will find it easier to know what is important for notes and even find yourself remembering important stuff more easily. Don't stress, you can do this!

 

During my school days, we had dissection of rats for 2 years. 11th & 12th std. My family was a vegetarian family & to cut open a dead rat was somewhat sickening. Watching my lab teacher do dissection of rats, with water in the trough becoming red made me think, 'how ever will I do it'. But I mastered it within 2 or 3 classes & even assisted my friends too. I enjoyed it too. Even then I could not take my lunch, if we had lab period before it. Particularly if I had beetroot in my lunch. I remember doing dissection of cockroach leg, hibiscus cross cutting, onion peel, blood cells etc in the lab. I got centum in Biology in my 12th. But opted for law for my college education. All good old memories. Sometimes bring a pang in my heart. But I suppose, if we look at this life after 10 years or so, we will feel this was a happy time too.

I was very much surprised to see the internal organs of the rats(usually they were field rats) arranged beautifully and everything perfectly fit in its place. That was when I discovered nature has everything organised beautifully. Now I think we humans disrupt the balance and arrangement to such an extent that some day nature might pay us back.

Enjoy doing your dissection, fifi. You are getting a great opportunity to learn something which is quite interesting. Try teaching or sharing with us some of your learnings & you will remember it better.
