    Hello again,

I received really good advice on how to best spend my stars. I went with LL over spa manager and also have my rainforest open now. So I have another question: I don't seem to have a problem making CCs but I am not sure what I should spend them on. Sure I could buy things to fulfill a quest level- but is that not the reason for growing plants and animals on your farm? I am level 78, 92 Baha, 2.5 million CCs. Help me spend some coins!

Best bet is to save them until you're sure what to spend them on. I'm sure that 2.5 mil cc sounds like a lot but you can burn through them really fast. What I do is scour the market for deals (really under prices items) and then resell them at a profit or hold for a later time to sell during events. I also save to buy higher level breeding animals (saving my PF).

AnnTAngel7 gives some good advice. Specifically, CC's can go very quick and scouring the market for deals is always a very good use of CC's.

One thing I'm always spending CC on myself is animal feeds. Due to the lengthy time it takes to make Power Feed, I tend to have that in my mill 24/7. I'd suggest the same to anyone who plays this game, but I also know how profitable making other feeds can be. If you have empty space in your Park, than keep an eye out at Pirate's Cove for sales on EP givers. It might not be much, but it's still worth the extra boost to EP, plus some of these can go in Cloud Rows. Water for crops is always CC's well spent as time is a resource you cannot replenish. I also like to buy "infrastructure", Stables and Trees, most of the time I'll never need 100 Apple Tree's, however, it can also have it's benefits. Last but not least, buying Crafted Trade items from the market which can be of benefit during events and outside of events. Carrot Apple Chutney and Terror Bouquets come to mind.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

It all depends on how you want to play this game, what is your priority? Completing events or FSQ's? Leveling up Baha or the farm? Do you want higher level breeding animals to complete FSQ's or build high level stables & workshops? This farm is just short of 9 months old and is level 86 mainland & 200 island. I've finished 1/3 of the FSQ's and completed nearly all events except first few in the beginning. Mainly because I've bought a lot of the requirements from the market.
Yes you can grow everything yourself it will just take longer.;)

Best advice is to get to know your market (each is a little different). When are crafting trades a good value? Is it better to sell the animals needed to make products & buy the product (prices for products are still coming down after Harvest Hoedown)? The forum helps you to know which crops, tree fruit & animals will be in demand so you can stock up or make some CC's. What's a good value in my market may not be in yours. So watch your market over time & decide how you want to play.
There is no wrong way to play this game, just play however you want! :p

Great question! I use ccs to buy an ever growing list of the shopping basket items that are under priced relative to my market. I spend roughly 200,000 ccs daily right now, and that can add up quickly if I am not selling. I like to use ccs to maintain a balanced amount of most goods that sell for reasonable prices, and I grow or breed anything that is overpriced if I can. My favorite thing in this game is participating in events, so I really love that I now can afford to have a substantial buffer of ccs to be able to buy whatever is needed to finish events. I used to fully invest/be broke, but I found that I am just too cautious with both sales and purchases when I was broke. Plus it is very nice to have mad money when shiny things call to me.

Initially, I used CCs to buy enough pens so that I had what I needed to fill the Noah's ark quest. (roughly 20-25 of each, one half the amount requested). I then raised and sold those to get more CC. What pens work best depends some on your goals and market. Often, once you are done working various quests, chickens and rabbits are good bets, if you are able to harvest them regularly. If you can only, say, check in once or twice a day, then longer pens probably are a better bet. During events, it often is cheaper to just buy some more pens than to buy the animals, but that is a short-term deal (a good investment, regardless, but not necessarily a priority outside of the events).

Other than that, as noted above, it really depends on your goals. I worked on expanding Baha, opened up the artisan village, etc. Then I worked on both Baha and the mainland, but concentrated especially on opening more Baha runes. I bought a LOT of red punch and orange mango smoothies, chocolate pancakes and was able to progress there. This was well before the rainforest, so things should move much more quickly now.

If you have not opened the rain forest yet, I would seek out star-yielding quests and work to open that --buy and grow whatever you need.

Other than that, some general things to think about: Sometimes buying feed is cheaper than growing/milling it. The same with artisan products. I always tried to stock up on CAC, terror bouquets, etc for events whenever its below a certain price (though I have the cloud row now, so I tend to have enough CAC). The main reason I keep producing items now is just to level up my crafts (see specific threads on that). Breeding animals are also often better bought than grown, but it does depend a bit on how much powerfeed you are willing to buy. Its also nice to buy the cheaper EP givers to fill up your park. If you don't have premium, then water tanks can be a decent investment for your park/shipwreck.

Overall, since CCs are easy to earn and replace, they are basically never wasted.

I want to thank you all for your sage advice. This is a nice forum. Happy Thanksgiving!
I had a great couple of days, finally leveling up to 79 and Baha 95. Yay. And I made more money- but I will figure out how to spend it. Now it will take me weeks to pay back the apparently ill-gotten extra GBs I found and spent on my island today (and here I was thinking what a wonderful find and something else to be grateful for!). I also noticed that I can no longer skip plants I can buy with bananas for Baha. Too bad. That was a nice feature to make you think about your plans for Baha strategically.

I, like everyone else, tend to look for bargains in the market, but mainly I spend my money on crafting goods such as CAC and PPP since I started artisan's village with the bakery instead of the confectionary. (I learned the hard way to always research my options in the forum before starting something new.xD) I also look for things like buying Guava jam instead of Gingerbread. It does the exact same thing for an extra 2 hours for half the price, in my market. When I see the items below my personal, "bargain", price I buy several of them. I can always use them over time, or sell some when the price really goes up. Once I got started I now use buffs virtually every day, especially CAC. I also make and sell my bakery goods whenever the price is reasonable.

I mill feed constantly during the day and I always mill 1 power feed each night unless a breeding event is coming up, then I mill power feed around the clock. I try to never let my mill stop. I have made the majority of my money by selling feed. There too, I look for types of feed that are in high demand and short supply so I get the highest prices possible, although I don't want to price it so high, or in such a large number that it doesn't move.

There have been some posts with excellent advice. One thing I have learned is the people in the forum have always been willing to answer my questions, no matter how dumb they are, and to give advice. There are some very wise people who have been playing this game far longer than I have and they are a tremendous source of information. You are wise to be taking advantage of it early.:)

There are many strategies, but I believe you should choose the one that best fits your goals. For example: I never buy crafts for EPs to help me level up faster. I am in no hurry and I have found that as I have accumulated cloud rows they have accelerated my rate of advancement tremendously. That way I am able to accumulate more golden bananas quicker, but I am just playing the game for fun.:D Good luck to you and have fun. :);)
