    Arielh - I'm in Northwest Florida and it is raining pretty hard. Thankfully the worst of the storms went past my area.

    Happycallie - They hit in Atlanta area and Decatur. Don't know how bad, but hoping for small damage.

    We have storm Barny... blowing up a hoolie!! Worried every morning that field shelters would be expensive kindling and this morning we were promised snow BUT no just more more winds and driving icy rain... day turned into a bright, sunny day, cold BUT no field shelter damage and very happy reindeer...
    I see Suzee Rabbit started this thread... is she still around.. Used to love her witticisms in the "Steam Room" of old?? .. Miss the old Forum it was fun!!! :)

    Snow: that 4-lettered word. Guess it's fine if you like white. The sky is white, the ground is white and so is everything in between. Weather folks say it will be in the 50s Thursday. Yay, no white Thankgiving

    We're getting 5-8 inches of snow and the satellite tv is out. And I had the dish moved higher this year so getting on a ladder is out of the question

    Beautiful sunny day in northwest Florida, with a light breeze and 75 degrees. Guess if you are used to snow you want something else - but here we get wildly excited if we see a few flakes!:)

    Another glorious day here. I wonder....between football games...if I can entice hubby to put up our outdoor xmas lights?:p I like him to do it when the roof is dry and not slippery.

    We got 8 inches of snow yesterday and saw two cars spin out in front of me and now they are saying it will all be gone by Thanksgiving Thursday.

    First frost of the winter here in Cornwall! We don't usually drop much below 50 degrees here so it feels really cold. Sun is shining and there is no wind.
