There are a total of 304 Race Steps which need to be completed.
    Race 1: 44 race steps
    Race 2: 60 race steps
    Race 3: 65 race steps
    Race 4: 71 race steps
    Race 5: 64 race steps

Cheapest way to complete the event:
1216x Turboline (Approximately 203 Turboline needed each day)

Here's what you'll need to complete this in the most efficient amount of fuels:
    28x Turboline (Event Drop)
    3x Bio-Fuel (555x Camelina, 33 Turboline, and 75 Sunflowers)
    48x Premium Bio-Fuel (17,280 Camelina, 960 Turboline, 2,400 Sunflowers)
*edit* Adjusted these totals to account for steps which would not carry over to the next race (Thanks -Mir85-)

    Milling Time Needed:
    28x Turboline (None)
    3x Bio-Fuel (15 Minutes)
    48x Premium Bio-Fuel (480 Minutes, or 8 Hours)

    Total Materials Needed:
    17,835 Camelina
1,021 Turboline (Approximately 171 Turboline each day)
    2,475 Sunflowers

    Total Rewards:
    28,700 CC
    47,600 EP
    52,800 BEP
    5 Stars
    25 SG
    40 PF
    40 SSG
    5 Golden Bananas:inlove:
    2 CAC
    2 3h Helper Coupon
    3 Party Spins
    3 "Pheonix Wonder Stables"
    5 "Uele Wonder Trees"
    1 Sticker
    2 Red-hot Racer
    2 Blue Streak
    2 Go for Gold
    2 Green Menace
    1 Event Cloud Row
    1 Black Flame

The rewards are very good for a medium level event. 6 hour event crop, with 6 days to finish. Drops will also come from fields, allowing for both pre and post planting of additional, non-event crops. BP has also continued their new trend of offering two of each EP giver as prizes. This is fantastic as it allows for a set to be placed into the CR and a set to be placed on the farm or in other CR's as they are the harder to come by 1x2's.

Thanks Decree for the figures. Another one that I left to those less mathematically challenged than me! :p

SOS thread is up and running - please tell me if I have made any mistakes as I had to do this one quickly:

SOS Tractor Racing Event Drop Items/Turboline

Good luck everybody. Looks like fun! :D

Edit: just caught the edit - thought it was a little too easy! :wuerg:

Using Turbolines only, one would need 1,216 of these drops.
Would the OP please check your figures for fuel needed?

So we don't have to grow that complete total of event crops if we choose to use just the turbolines for steps? :sleepy::sleepy: Still a little foggy in the head right now;)

Quite certain the figures are correct. Essentially the Premium Bio-Fuel only allows for one Turboline free step, as the materials to make the Premium Bio-Fuel still cost five steps worth of Turboline. However, you inspired a thought.

The most efficient way (fewest fuels needed) isn't the most cost effective way. It would appear that growing Camelina may not be needed at all if the drops are to come from any crop grown on the fields. If this is the case, then it is completely possible to grow whatever you want and still collect enough Turboline to complete the event which is far more appealing than growing "Junk" as Farmer_broke would call it.

I think it really comes down to how good the rate of Turboline drops are.

I sure hope so. Also, from recent memory, and since I haven't been playing long, this seems quite unprecedented to not require the event crop for the event.

Thanks very much for starting the thread, Decree! :)
I guess we all have to know how it will be the drop rate and more important, considering the latest events if the drops won't have any restriction to where they come from (e.g. not dropping from trees or workshops, etc.). Something that has to be checked before preparing the fields for tomorrow.
If the drop rate is low, it will always be low regardless we need 1015 or 1216.
In this case scenario, I won't be growing camelinas unless I have to. And I'm SOOOOO glad I can have the option...:D
I'll go for the turbolines only.

    Anyway, good luck to all!!!!:D

EDIT: @Decree - Even from a not so recent memory... ;)

    Greetings Arrouquelas and everyone :)

There is no restriction for the drops - the Turbolines will drop from everything on all 'plantable' lands (the 3 main lands and the 2 tropical fields).
    Best regards,

I couldn't agree more. I can think of only two reasons to grow the event crop.

    1) You want to finish faster.
    2) You're brand new to the game and your current crops are lower in both EP and time it takes to mature.

And I was just about to switch over from animals/tree's to crops. This is great timing for me. I hope it suites everyone else just as well.

LOL I love this event! No need for event plants at all! xDxD Great!
I won't grow a single Camelina unless I really really have to.

Good luck to all and remember to put out your Howies!

This sounds great!! With the holidays this week I was not looking forward to trying to grow event crops. I'll just grow some longish crops for drops and have fun :D

    Good luck everyone :)

I am glad as well.. I can just keep up my pens. I, too, am unlikely to have much time here in real life. It is a nice break to check in with my coffee, but not if I have to do so continually, as with some events.

Wow, I am working every day except Thursday and Monday - what great news that I don't have to grow the event crop. I will continue with four fields of trees on this farm, mainly animals on Chevrefeuille and see where I am by Thursday ... decide if I need to switch strategy. :music:

I may plant the first seeds on Wednesday morning (working tomorrow afternoon) just in case I need to quickly move into crop mode. This is a whole new different style of event. I like the look of it ... so far! :inlove:

May the doGs of drops be with you! :D

Hi Teddy - good to see you! ;)

Good we don't need all of the event crops. Since I will have a late start tomorrow that is really reassuring.
I am doing like Illy some of the crops. Usually my drops are not that good to rely on. But growing for maybe 2 days should be enough. (only at day)

I'm just hoping that the drop levels will be the same as for the last event. I can't find my final figure (I didn't use any) but I know had way over 1000 on both farms without really trying, just continuing with normal farming. Everything crossed! xD
