I didn't even check them on the last event. It's surprising with how little I can be content sometimes. ;)

    So, Let me think....yes, :powwwww

I will stop collecting on farms as most ready in 11 hours, then I give thanks no need for tearing up fields somebody smiling on me really got wrapped up on animal raising... forgot to check next event date:oops:

Then I will want to eat olive garlic pesto, valentine pot I think, and check bean stalk and harvest for max drops
oh get pets out of bed....
Then just collect batteries and race sound right?
<new farmers warning I am so not words to fallow I am not sure what I type is right let alone what to eat>

I mever claimed to be the brightest bulb in the pack:p, but as I read the event FAQ thread you need the event crop to make each type of fuel. How can you complete this event without growing the event crop? What am I missing? :wuerg:

Doc: You can advance 1 race step with 4 x Turboline. Turboline are the drops :)

Hi mingling :) looks like you have a plan :) but why the pesto? olive garlic pesto increases EP on EP givers, was that what you wanted?

Thank you meba. Basically, all the fuel does for you is let you advance multiple steps at once, but you have to use the Turboline to make the fuel. My 1 watt light bulb finally flickers to life.o_O:oops:

    Hi Mir,
I have animal pens out, so the valentine pot, and since I will be letting the farm be idle till event time figured why not max it all to the good and grab the ep too, then thinking threw event eggnog myself so I can keep animals up? Or will crops be better?
I am getting this, hard right now, just did mass clean up of comp. my bean stalk items only showed 4 I freaked.... then remembered I was playing with the categories... found out if you click on a row then category next time in you only see the 4 you placed thereo_O live and freak, live and freak.
    Comp clean-up needed anyway......:sleepy:

Keltic... have you been hitting that 'nog already? xD

Lots of good strategy in this thread already, I'm soaking it all in. Best of luck to everyone for a speedy finish.

I'm missing the growing of junks commentary tho :(

So relieved that I'm not going to be behind because I didn't check the forum before I reset all my fields this morning. I've got everything committed to long term trees, stables, and workshops so I'm really, really, really happy I don't have to grow no junks. ;)

Good luck everyone and may your drops be plentiful! :D

I'll be growing long time crops and keep my Fire Hydrants out - they are making me richxD - on baha I will just leave the trees and pens out. Not much of preparation really :)

Thank you Decree for setting up the thread and the useful information.
Thanks to all whom contributed to it.
My first thought was no event crop needed, hmm maybe Camelina will stay in the game.
then I noticed the exchange amounts-.-
I will leave the farm in the state it's in (disarray) and see how the drops fall.
Have fun putt-putt 'in to the finish Farmers!

I was just re-reading the FAQ's and couldn't see where it says we can complete this event more than once. Am I confused ?:p:p:p

    Hi Julie,
It's not that we can reset the event and do it again. Look at Race #5 ... you can win a second set of EP givers if have completed all races.
Hope this is what was confusing you :)

    I like this event.
First, I must appreciate BP for a new approach to design a event which give two
    alternative choice for farmers.
1)You could just cont'd your style of farming, don't need to torn your field for event
crop if you could sure you could get enough drop OR you had RL business. You cannot
frequency log in game to harvest the event crop which must need for donation!
2)Afraid you cannot got 200drops/day, so do complex way as BP expectation:
grow event crop, then either grow sunflower /used your own sunflower reserve or just
buy them on market. (let some farmers gain a small fortune on it) last, mill 2 type of fuel then
follow my advice Or just do what you like !
Under my strategy, except Race 1 & 5 which you need to combine 2/3 fuel to finished, the other
3 race you could just used premium fuel.

    Race 1 : 44 race steps need 7 premium fuel +2 Turboline (total Turboline used: 148 )
    Camelina need 2520
    Just used Turboline : 176

Race 2: 60 race steps need 10 premium fuel (total Turboline used: 200)
    Camelina need 3600
    Just used Turboline : 240

Race 3: 65 race steps need 11 premium fuel (total Turboline used : 220)
yes, you got lost 1 steps but since there is only 1 Turboline difference between mixed type,
    if used 10 premium, 1 bio-fuel, 2 Turboline is 219 or 10 premium 5 Turboline is 220
    Camelina need 3960
    Just used Turboline : 260

Race 4: 71 race steps need 12 premium fuel (total Turboline used : 240)
Same calculation like Race 3, got loss 1 step but only 1 more Turboline used.
    Camelina need 4320
    Just used Turboline : 284

    Race 5: 64 race steps need 10 premium fuel, 1 Bio-fuel, 1 Turboline (total Turboline used : 215)
    Camelina need 3785
    Just used Turboline : 256

Under my calculate, need to got 1023 Turboline,
Mill only 1 Bio-Fuel and 50 premium Fuel.
    Camelina need 18,185
Yes Turboline 2 more, Camelina grow 350 more than Decree data, But if farmer
could have time to grow those 350 extra Camelina, I think my way is better for some farmers , Why ?
Much more clear on most of races, only click one 'Fill 'er up!', less confusion as don't
need to concern on different fuel, In fact, you could keep the Bio-fuel option blank until
you are go for race 5, so that you won't mis-click the fuel on other races.
except Race 1 on beginning, you need to click on Turboline, the other 3 race just click
the premium Fuel, when go for last Race 5, click the Bio-Fuel first & then premium race
last click the Turboline (this is to make sure you don't over click Turboline which you may
got excess amount when you do Race 5)

Edit : to help some farmer which may got brain mix up when facing figure
I here list out the total event crop need per race, these is for those had not
enough time to grow event crop, Or afraid could not got enough drop to
finished all race, therefore, you could chose which race to finished after
you finished race 1 either fully by drops & with Mill product

2nd Edit : I think I need to add 1 more information which may help farmers. It's the
total Turboline need per races. if only used Turboline.

Oh my goodness I'm really confused now... so do we need to grow event crops or not? Is it good to have some on hand to make fuel or not? Some say event crop not necessary then some say it is necessary to make fuel which is what your strategy is based on dnin21cent? am I right? Oh my.....! Or just focus on what will give the best drops? PS.... Thank you for doing all the figuring for us.... dnin!

The crops are to make the Bio-fuel or Premium Bio-fuel which count for more steps so you need less drops. You mill the Bio-fuel and/or Premium Bio-fuel and these are worth 3 steps and 6 steps respectively. We need four of the drop item, Turboline, to go one step. o_O

So, if you want to finish quicker, growing the Camelina is the best way and you will need less drops : 1015 Turboline (a rough daily average of 170) as opposed to 1216 Turboline (a rough daily average of 200+ - but no crops at all). :wuerg:

Personally, I am going to begin by just starting the first seeds off with a little Suzy's Supergrow just so I have a little supply to get going if I need to up the anti! But I am hoping I can avoid ripping up all my fields, using my harvester coupons and, though not such a big deal these days, using CAC. That's the plan. It all depends how generous the drops are. :p

    Hope this helps FarmerMolly. ;)

My strategy is to not change a thing about what I'm doing. I'll continue to grow long growth crops to build up my barn and collect Turboline drops. If I am below the average Turboline per day needed to complete the event at the end of the first day, only then will I start to grow Camelina and look into crafting the faster fuels.

Essentially, I'd rather have 18,000 Roses or Crop Squares in my barn instead of an event crop which will disappear a week later.
