Enough of this forum for me I must reluctantly say. There were so many times a smile was bought to my face by so so many of you. And there were times when tears have filled my eyes. I'm sorry I cannot list or will communicate with you all here again. The memories will live on within me for a long time to come.

And teddy.bear, thank you for your genuine kindness and all the fun when the chat room was alive. Your gentle manner and fun was the motivating factor for the mud_pie_man farm. No, no chocolate but a special mud pie just for you. The farm crest has a butterfly for spotsbox (my butterfly) as the farm flew to the top and she is gone. Through you, I have been pleasantly reminded of how kind words and simple actions can have both powerful and lasting effects.

Thank you everyone for the fine time and sharing your life with me. I'll be around only it's time to join the ranks of the silent.

I can't say how sorry I am to read this :cry::cry:

You have brought so much fun and laughter to this forum. Many times I have been laughing loud reading your posts.
I especially enjoyed reading the thread about how to make ccs and I was really looking forward to the 3. lesson... Sadly the thread has ended in the archive section...Just like many other useful threads-.-

You have willingly and generously shared your knowledge about the game with us in a fun and entertaining way. This forum will not be the same for me without you here.... I already miss you!

I, too, am very sad to read this. The loss of your active participation in the forum will be missed by many. So many people I have come to know and care about are leaving for a variety of reasons. All are understood but the loss is very difficult to bear. Go with my very best wishes.

Shoppers Anonymous was founded for your shopping madness and going broke. How can there be any meeting without broke?

Broke, I am sorry to hear this:(. When I was just a silent baby farm I remember your posts, sharing your experience and wisdom with us, enabling us to become millionaires. Your posts will be missed and we can only hope that once in a while you'll pop in to put us all back on track;)!

Politely put farmer_broke. Very sad to see you go, you're a major asset to this forum. I'll miss your strategy tidbits, your fun and crazy sense of humor, along with all the broke family silliness.
I've gained a ton of valuable/useful information from reading so many of your posts... even the edited ones-.-

I didn't read this until late last night...so was too tired to respond. But, I didn't sleep well...as farmer_broke has been on my mind.
What a Huge loss to our EN forum!:( And on the heals of mud_pie_man(aka farmer_broke) leading the EN forum to Top 1000!!!! I am so sorry & distressed to lose such a fabulous, fun, wonderful strategiser, help to newbies and a very dear friend to me!
I cannot "like" your post farmer_broke. Why? Because...I do not want you to leave!
You are our "in house" nutty professor. Our market guru with a comical twist! Who wants to read boring statistics on how to make a ton of cc's to be a contender in Harvest Hoedown or Top 1000? No one, or at least, not me! I would much rather have it put in a funny & entertaining manner. This is just what broke has done for all of us.
Well.........I guess the schoolyard bullies have won. The forum will be all neat, tidy....and absolutely boring.:sleepy: Oh....and I forgot....with not too many farmers/players posting....because they are afraid of having their hands slapped.:wuerg:
I have pleaded with my good friend to stay...but he says no. Possibly, with time, we can convince him to return.

p.s. No bold words were used in this post

At the risk of having my quote edited -.- Brooke has said it best. The forum needs fun farmers!!! We have lost way to many already.
The strategy threads do have the usual needed information but we could always count on you Broke to put a smile on our faces with some crazy post.
I can remember when the forum was an alive and fun place, I hope one day it returns to that and you return with it.

    farmer_broke,

This is a sad, profoundly sad day for me, as well as many, many farmers.

It is unfortunate, that some choose not to comprehend, how valuable an asset your presence to this game really is. Your willingness to educate and inform all farmers of various levels, is to be commended not persecuted. Ahh.. but many know how game related issues surround the outspoken. Still you continued, knowing what may come. You, as well as, BP should know that a number of genuine new players would have thrown in the towel and quit the game, were it not for some insight they received from your knowledgeable postings.

The forum has been kept barely alive by only a handful, with you leading in the ranks.
Your "off the wall" humor, that draws many into the forum, will be greatly missed.
I will continue to hope it and that wisdom of yours will surface again.

While I respect the position you have chosen, I will not let it rest. I can not, for in doing so you have helped complete a task set about a long ago.....

    Be well, My friend

A loss to be sure, I just got to ya but your post I lived with closely for some time. You being silent is a big loss to the forums.

To true is all I will say....to true.

    I will miss reading you.

Clearly I missed something over the past couple of days. But I did get the idea that there had been some misinterpretation. I just read the post in General Issues. You can't ignore rules, but you can ignore bullies. I don't know what happened because I missed it but I doubt that it was deliberate. Nevertheless, if you still choose that you aren't going to communicate on the forum, we will be poorer for it.

Broke, I'm so sorry to hear that you'll no longer be posting on here, but to be quite honest, I don't blame you one bit for your decision. This forum gets quieter and quieter each week, as more and more people grow weary of being slapped on the wrist for minor, petty reasons. This forum used to be friendly and lively, like a warm comfortable house in which we could all trade stories and knowledge. Lately, it has felt more like a cold, empty mansion that is ruthlessly controlled by people who glare at you in reproach if you speak too loudly or try to sit on the furniture. In addition to the suffocating control, there is blatant, ongoing hypocrisy. Some players are given virtually free reign to post whatever they want, and others are singled out and routinely edited/deleted for no reason.
I'm sure this post will be edited/deleted, maybe I'll even receive a warning or ban. But people should not be afraid to speak the truth, nor should they be punished for doing so. So, dear Broke, I will absolutely miss you and your posts that made me actually laugh out loud. But I don't blame you for walking away.

    Greetings lovely Farmers,

farmer_broke, thank you very much for your kind words. The mud pies still aren't my favourites, but I'll always have the huge chocolate stolen wedding cake :p . I am sorry you decided to take a step back from the forum, but I hope you will continue to enjoy playing.

Regarding the other Forum comments - I am sorry to address them here - but I would like to say I am truly sorry you feel this way :( . After trying to focus more on important RL issues and spend a lot less time in the BP-modding-world, I am trying to be 'fully-back', and first thing to do was to have addressed all these latest problems and your unhappiness and there will be a different approach (there already is actually, since we discussed this internally a few days ago), and things will certainly not be as strict when it comes to formatting posts or quotes, for example - of course, we count on your understanding as well to not overdo this :p . We appreciate that you have brought this to our attention, and we are truly sorry for this inconvenience. If you encounter further problems with any posts, please report them as soon as possible and we will deal with this.

Of course, the Forum has to be an enjoyable place and nobody should be afraid to speak the truth - but within the rules. If you have any other complaints about these issues, please either address them in a reported post via the forum, or through Support. I appreciate your understanding on this matter.

I think I can say that we all have invested a lot of time in making the forum a pleasant place and we all had a lot of great moments here, so I invite you all to not let this fade away and keep it a fun place to be.
    Best regards,
    teddy.bear

Good to see you are back teddy and I'm pleased to see a new less strict policy has been implemented.

farmer-broke your stand has caused the mods to think again, to the benefit of all of us. I am so happy to see this change. Come back broke, we need you, we need your humour and junk jokes. I always look for your posts as they are so funny. This forum has become a less fun place without you.
    Please come back.
